Ordered the chicken steamed buns for appetizer and the escolar , the foraged roll, the mackerel roll and the surf and turf. Issue one: Got the appetizer after the rolls basically as we were almost done with the entree, but at least they were good. Issue 2:Surf and turf and mackerel roll were disgusting. The steak and the fish on the. Tasted old so we just too that off and ate the rest of the roll. Service was ok she seemed pretty new so thats fine In conclusion not worth the price

food was delicious. we came early on a Monday, so not too many people there. loved the music. the he deals during happy hour were great. my husband and I tried and LOBED the riblets. the edamame was some of the best edamame I’ e had—so flavorful. definitely try the Pink Dansu cocktail!!

We’ve been dining here for 4 years and we’ve never had a bad experience. Service is wonderful, and it’s a perfect restaurant for a date, business dinner, you name it. They have the standard assortment of sushi and nigiri, but will often times have featured, seasonal rolls with more exotic fish which are excellent. Always a pleasure to dine here. Melinda was our server last night and was absolutely delightful!

The soft shell crab steamed buns were good. Everything else was mediocre at best and the server was inattentive and did not know the difference between different types of sushi. The restaurant had no Japanese or even Asian decor at all. Not worthwhile when there are many other great sushi places in Denver.

After showing up for our reservation we were not able to sit until 30 mins later. Sushi was very good. Sake bombs were buy one get one for game days. Espresso martini’s were very sweet.

Can't tell you how many times I've walked by Foraged and thought "I really need to eat here!" It's very inviting from the outside looking in. Friends were in town and this seemed like the perfect time to try Foraged. The atmosphere is nice and trendy. The food just doesn't do it's part. I've had far better sushi at countless places in the Denver area. TBH, it was blah. The vegetable gyoza was tasty, as was the edamame and shishito peppers. We had a party of 4, all ordering different sushi. Some of the order was served on the same plate, with no rhyme or reason, and the server (not our waiter) didn't explain what was what. Needless to say, we were pretty confused. Our reservation was for 8pm, which we didn't really need because the restaurant was fairly empty on a Friday night. Even so, we were seating next to a table-full of tipsy 20 somethings, who were very loud. I'm disappointed...I really had high hopes for Foraged. Definitely won't go back.

I’ve had Foraged saved in my OpenTable for years. This was maybe the worst sushi experience I’ve had in Denver in the 8 years I’ve been in the city. The fish was extremely low quality and for the price I wouldn’t expect that at all. Thankfully Emily was a breath of fresh air but that was the only redeeming quality of the experience. Not sure how it has this many stars on Open Table.

We did the Pappy Van Winkle pairing dinner.. it was fantastic. Had an excellent time, then we wandered upstairs and found Duy Pham behind the sushi bar and it was spectacular. His creations were amazing. HIGHLY recommend! Perfect way to end the evening.

Great little sushi spot. We came in about 20 min late but were seated immediately. I loved the Spicy Tuna Roll, would highly recommend. I got two drinks, and my friend got 1. Overall total was only $55. Not bad at all, and delicious. Will be coming back.

My husband and I had a great evening! The sushi rolls are not overdone with too many flavors and toppings that you can actually taste the high-quality fish. The drinks were delicious and Ryan was a great server. We'll definitely be back!

I was excited for this omakase dinner. I was in town on my own. Don’t really know a lot about sushi - I always get the same old few things, so I thought this experience would help me really figure out what I like and what I don’t. I thought there would be some interaction between the guests and chefs but other than him telling us what he plopped down in front of us there was zero interaction. No one ever said hello, welcome, or goodbye to me. There was me and a group of four at the table. They were engaged in their own conversation and seemed to enjoy it. I felt oddly out of place and not welcome at all. There was a second chef who was friendly - we exchanged a few words at the very end. The food was nice. Some interesting pieces (maybe 15-20 in total) which was fun to try and it did help me decide what I like best. It seemed rushed. We were done within an hour. For $150 I thought the chef would make me feel welcomed and maybe tell a little about what we were eating or something. I had waaaay more charming and engaging service at the mediocre chain restaurant I was dragged to the night before. How disappointing. Oh - the host at the front was delightful and the restaurant downstairs is very pretty.

we tried foraged last night for the first time eventhough we live a block away. We will definately be coming back. We went at 6pm on a Friday and ate upstairs. It wasnt that busy. We were able to get a couple drinks and gyoza at happy hour prices. The lyceetini was wonderful as was the old fashioned. The gyoza were some of the best we have ever had. We also has a couple handroll, seared scallop and eel. Both were wonderful. We also had the foraged roll which was good. We tried the vegetable tempura and that was not something we would order again, we prefer more traditional tempura and sauce. It was a good sized serving but only 3 or 4 vegetables. The service was attentive and the wait for food was not very long.

Absolutely love this place. A perfect date night, business dinner, networking location or solo dinner/drink at the bar. My favorites are the shishito peppers, dumplings, yellowtail and seasonal scallops. Old Fashioned here is PERFECT.
