Everything was good and our server was great. My one and only HUGE complaint is that I specifically requested the additional food I ordered to take home to be made WITHOUT any raw fish or masago. It was super important because my sister cannot eat raw seafood due to her illness and when I got home, one of her rolls had raw tuna on it! The frustrating part was that on the menu, raw fish was NOT listed on the two rolls I ordered. She ended up not being able to eat half her food.

Had a reservation for a table for 2. Got there and got sat at a big table that sat 6. We were the first ones there and then 2 other couples were sat next to us at the same table. Went out on a date to spend some time with the so on Valentine’s Day, but we’re not told it would be a group date. Good food good price good service but I feel like we got funneled into a group Valentine’s Day so

My girls and I decided to start a new tradition of doing sushi on Christmas Eve & I chose Fontana. The idea was to mix it up year after year but I truly think we will just continue to come here! The food was exceptional, the service & attentiveness - out of this world. I’d never been and was just blown away. Can not recommend enough!

We had horrible service. Waited over 40 min. to get a drink. Had a 7:00 resie and didn't even get one of our appetizers until 8:00! And they forgot all about bringing us our edamame, and then we finally said we didn't want it and our waiter never said sorry, or anything...just walked away. Food was fine, but nothing a real sushi lover would think is outstanding. A lot of the rolls are all either made with the pre made crab/mayo stuff or cream cheese based. Lots of shrimp sushi, and nothing too creative. Our waiter was horrible. He was not friendly, and he knew we were sitting there forever waiting. 2 other tables seated after us were served before us. Never came back and asked if we needed anything else. So not a great experience for sure.

1 hour and 15 minutes and never got served our order. Walked out after a table seated after us - got their appetizer and sushi order. Staff acted utterly unconcerned when we mentioned it had be over an hour since we ordered.

As others have previously posted, this is every bit as good as those other schmaltzy sushi restaurants in Denver. But, and…..didn’t have to deal with all the bougie-ness. The sashimi was killer-fresh and the flavor profiles of the specials per fantastic. Fresh wasabi tdf. Gave it average stars for ambience cuz it is super unpretentious. Good value for both food and drink. Staff was awesome.

Of all the sushi places in Denver - this is my absolute favorite! I tell my friend’s I think it’s even better (and way less expensive) than Sushi Den and at first I think they are skeptical — and after they eat here, they always agree :)

This was a random night out- last minute and unplanned. I chose it bc of the high rating on open table. The restaurant is very simple- very casual. The food UNBELIEVABLE. When I tell you this might be the best sushi I’ve had, I mean it. This is Nobu level. 20/10 recommend. PS- Servings are very large. We definitely over ordered but I’m not mad about it.

A friend at work referred me to Fontana’s Sushi, saying that the chef was very creative and the fish was extremely fresh. All was true and with out a doubt was the best sushi I’ve had in ten years. I lived in Atlanta in those ten years and went to some of the best internationally acclaimed sushi restaurants, that do not hold a candle to what Fontana’s presented last night.

Our family went here for the first time for Mother's Day dinner and we had a wonderful experience. The sushi was fresh, well prepared, and delightfully presented. The available variety allowed us to each select things we liked and we were not disappointed. The Hot Roll was delicious and we left quite satisfied. It is a bit of a drive up from Castle Rock, but we will be back.
