    This was a disappointing visit for food and service. First, we waited 20+ minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Once we flipped our discs to green, the FDC gauchos kept coming around with pork and chicken skewers even though we asked for other items. The entire night, we never saw the beef tenderloin, ancho ribeye, or fraldinha (flank steak/bottom sirloin), and had to ask a few times before the beef ribs finally arrived at the very end when we we were basically full. The beef items we received were often overcooked even though we asked for medium rare. Even the beef ribs were tough and dry, not the meltingly tender version we expected. We began stacking plates with dry meat, waiting for them to be taken away, but finally had to ask for someone to do that. Sadly, the only very good items we had were garlic steak (still overcooked), lamb picanha, and the cheese puffs. The specialty beef picanha was somewhat tough, and just okay. We also had many instances where a long 15 minutes passed before a gaucho came by, again toting dried out pork or chicken. Compared to other churascarria restaurants (Texas de Brazil and Chima), the food offerings were limited, not well executed, and they clearly tried to fill you up on lesser priced cuts of meat. On the positive side, the decor of the new restaurant is very nice, but I feel there are better food/service options in the area at similar price points. I will try another visit at some point, but will likely give up on Fogo if the experience is similar to this visit.

    We were served by Penelope in the upstairs lounge. She was excellent. She kept our water glasses full, asked multiple times is there were any cuts of meet or other hot sides we desired, and brought fresh bread. She was social, kind, professional, and helpful. Kelvin, the manager, deserves an honorable mention for noticing I was looking for something specific at the buffet bar. He was very accommodating.

    This was my second time at Fogo de Chao. The salad bar was nice and the meat was cooked well. My issue was the service. TOO much service. I was looking at a wine menu and had at least 4 different servers come over to ask me if I wanted suggestions or if I was ready to order. I kept saying no and finally just put the menu down and stuck with my water. The prior time was the same situation. We couldn’t have a five minute conversation. I joked that I wish they had the red/green disc you could flip to let the servers know when you don’t need anything. At one point a guy came around with a tray of drinks (not much liquid so they looked like samples) and asked if we would like to try them. We took one (which tasted like rubbing alcohol). When the bill came it was on there for $14. For the amount of meat we got I don’t think it was worth the price.

    4/5 stars as the service from John, Steve, and Gauchos was excellent. The waitress we had was good, not great. Once we were sat it was as if she forgot about us. I got up to ask her to get refills on our water. Forgot our wine.

    Superb service! David, Nathalie and Juan made sure to make my first visit to this restaurant an outstanding experience. Kelvin sure knows how to take care of his guests making sure everything down to the minute detail was more than perfect.

    Overall a good experience. The place is definitely noisy so be prepared to raise your voice... The food was well prepared and tasty. The salad bar is a bit skimpy compared to others. Although the menu includes extensive items not all were being served - beef ribs for example only came out as we were leaving. The service was friendly and attentive though it trailed off at the end as we spent nearly 25 minutes from "would you like to see a desert menu" to seeing one, and then actually getting the desert was another 15 minutes. But as I said at the start, overall a good experience.

    The food was amazing. Be sure to ask for some of the chimichurri sauce. The feijoada at the salad bar was amazing. They cook the meats so there is a cut for everyone. The staff was very friendly and prompt. Things were very well organized. One thing to note: In addition to drinks you order off the menu, they will have someone coming around with mini cocktails on a tray offering them out. Those are very much not free and cost more than some of their full size cocktails.

    We’ve been to other Fogo De Chão restaurants but this was our first time here. Everything to the service and food was great. Jan Carlos Sandoval was one of the many servers who helped us. Everyone was very tentative and made sure that if there was a particular meat we were looking for to bring it over asap. My only critical feedback would be at the food bar. When making my salad, the dressings weren’t labeled so I had to figure out by guessing which one I wanted. Otherwise, a good experience. We’ll be back!

    Service was a bit slow but servers were very nice and the food was great! Nice new restaurant and they let our party stay a while - from like 5:45-8:30 - even on a busy Saturday night. Overall great experience!

    We were delighted at Fogo in Reston town center. The Rodizio was delicious, all salads and sides are amazing. Very importantly, we had superb service from Karsten, Jan Carlos and Gaby as well as David. My family and I had a great dinner and will be back for sure!

    Waiter took.forever to take our order. When the bill came, I was glad I checked as it was about $150 over what it should have been. Was wondering if this was an honest mistake or intentional as so many people don't check the bill.

    This is a new location so they have quirks to work out. When we arrived at our table, there was paper from used straws below the chairs, very visible upon approach. Once my chair was pulled out, I saw a rind from an eaten pineapple slice. The food was okay. At one point I requested medium rare and the Gaucho gave me a piece so rare it was still breathing (hyperbole intended). I’ll chalk this up to the newness of this location. I think with some training and time, this location could be up to par with the Tyson’s location.

    Was ok. Was expecting a little more especially at the price. A few cuts were very tough and not good. Seemed to see the same 5-6 items over and over and not all the cuts they stated. Had to ask and that took some time. Worst issue I had was trying to get my ice tea refilled and the check.

    The meat was not as good quality as we have had at Chima, and while they said they had 16 types, there only seemed to be about 5 or 6 going around. Salad bar was not as good as Chima either, and sides were cold and not tasty. Very expensive for what we got.

    We attended FDC/Reston’s inaugural wine dinner. The featured wines were from Argentina (Mendoza) and are available off the wine list. Reds were featured as the pairing food menu was, understandably, meat-centered. Service was attentive and prompt with “re-visits” upon request. Abby, the distributor wine rep, guided us through the dinner and she was both knowledgeable and personable. Senior management from FDC/Reston welcomed us to the dinner. All in all, I was impressed with the event and look forward to more wine dinners at FDC/Reston.

    It was our 2nd time dining at this newly opened Reston location. The wait staff is very friendly. However, they oftentimes forget to bring what you asked and need to be reminded. The food is good. I didn't like the filet (for which I asked 3 times), it smelled and tasted like liver. Everything was very tasty: Picanha, Garlic sirloin, Lamb, etc. The salad bar in Tysons location has more choices but the one in Reston location is still good.

    Very disappointed. Servers kept skipping our table. We had to tell them almost a hundred times to bring us some meat. They got two stars from me just because the Caipirinhas and the pao de queijo were very good. Otherwise I would have given 1 star! I have been to Fogo de Chão in Tysons before, and it was very good. This one is a total failure.

    The food and service were great. We were at a round table and though some of the people on the outside part of the table had turned their card over to be done eating, people on the inside of the table were still on “green”. It seemed like the meat handlers missed those on the inside the table frequently. Also, it seems like there’s a set time when they stop coming around with the meats. We had people who did not eat as fast as others at the table, but since it seemed we had a lot already, they stopped coming around. Other than that, everything was great!

    We went for lunch. It was rough. Our server was amazing. But there was no meats coming around. We had to wait 10 mins between each time they would bring us more meats. They kept bringing the same meats to us. They would bring meats to tables around us a lot and kept skipping us. We go to Fogo often but I don’t think it’s good for lunch and this one needs a lot of work.

    For a new restaurant in the area, a lot of teething problems. Slow to get drinks, salad bar was not kept up and stocked, limited selection of meats being served until you ask for it. Expected better, have been a frequent visitor of the Tysons restaurant which is better than Reston.

    Food was great as usual but the best part was the service!! The servers are very attentive!!! I'm not sure what you call the ones who comes out with the skewers but Anthony is our favorite he always remembers my favorite and makes sure to bring it to my table! He was even working in the kitchen during our visit this time but he still took the time to come and say hi and if course he made sure to bring my favorite and rotation of other meat as well!!! We feel so appreciated every time we go there! Of course Elizabeth the customer relations liaison was there and welcomed us back with warmth and connected and checked on us frequently. Actually she is CONSTANTLY touching tables and interacting with guests! She never slows down! Elizabeth is a rockstar! Ask her for the home made hot sauce! She introduced us to it once and we LOVED it!! And now it's a must at every visit and she just brings them to us because she knows we're going to ask for them! Lol can't wait to go back!

    I really like the staff as they did try their best. However they still need to plan better regarding table seatings. AND when the meat is served, they never made it past the few first tables in their path (PTSD from Chinese Dim Sum experience). We had 8 people at our table and by the time the meat comes around there were only enough left for 2!!! We had to consistently asked for more meat to be served as that was the whole concept. I’m also a little disappointed that the staff did not dressed their part for the usual Fogo experience. We were seated in “baby chairs” because they didn’t have enough chairs to seat us all. And the sides, they brought one plaintain for a table of 8 😳🤣🤣🤣 Also, I guess the restaurant was overbooked because I saw 3 ladies sitting at a table under the stairs (open stairwell that will drop dust and dirt as people walk up and down the steps) across from the restrooms-possibly the worst table ever in a restaurant.
