Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Philadelphia
Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill and carve tableside each of our cuts of meat like Picanha (signature sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Fraldinha (Brazilian sirloin) Cordeiro (lamb) and more. In addition to the main dishes, enjoy our gourmet Market Table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list. Guests can also choose to enjoy lighter seafood selections or enjoy the gourmet Market Table only option.
We also offer semiprivate and private areas that can accommodate parties up to 120.
Went for father’s day and it was a mad house. Made reservations and still had to wait very unorganized couldn’t even get through front door. Need to do a better job
I understand it was Father’s Day, but what a zoo. Had a reservation for 6:30. Checked in at 6:25. Waited 45 minutes to be seated. Food is good. Meat is very salty. Staff is friendly but way too busy to be personable. Place could’ve been cleaner and less noisy but as I said it was a zoo in there. WAY OVERPRICED. Clicked on the tablet to pay. The option said round to nearest dollar...it was $9.23 and rounded to $10....how is that the nearest dollar? Then when I put in the tip percentage it calculated tip on the tax as well. They extract every last cent. Glad I went to try it, don’t need to return now that I have. And way too much food. You have no mid option and no sharing option you either go all in or get the salad bar...the better to $queeze!
Always an amazing time at Fogo. From the diclicious well seasoned and cooked meats to the amazing cheese selection cap it off with a couple of fantastically made Pineapple old fashions with the freshest muddled fruits! Always a pleasure!
I would recommend the restaurant because I come often enough to know how good the food is and how great the service cCAN BE. Unfortunately, this particular visit was very disappointing to say the least. We had to ask the server to send someone over with meat options (I know there a proper name for this. I don't recall it) several times before anyone actually came. it was crowded, it was Father's Day however I felt the larger tables received better service. By the time my water was refilled, we were done. We spoke w/ manager. He apologized, but it did not put a dent in the $198 we spent.
As usual an event worth every penny. Were celebrating sons graduation from night high school and the rodizio, salad bar, service was out of sight.
Yes, we enjoyed our meal.
Great servers and the food was delicious.
Outstanding food and service.
Have had some good meals and some bad meals here but tonight was excellent.
Food excellent! Service excellent! Easy to overeat, though. Will be going back!
Noisy and pricey but delicious!
Very accommodating with our reservation when we called, saying we were stuck in traffic. Service was very good and the food was excellent!
Our waitress was nice but service is not as professional as the one in New York. Majority of meats were not flavored enough and if you want steak sauce or anything it's additional charge. They gave all the lower class type of meats first and when you almost full towards the end then they finally bring out the more expensive cuts like lam chops, rib eye etc. and they would not bring any filet mignon cuts out until you ask and it took another 20 minutes of wait time for it.
Service was fantastic. The drinks were perfectly made. And the meats! Unbelievably good! Would definitely come back!
Good food and drinks
Loved taking my family to this restaurant. I just wish I could’ve eaten more.
Amazing steakhouse - great value
The food was fantastic! The service was great. The wine selection is good. The cocktails were amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at a Brazilian steakhouse.
Food is fantastic. The food offered at their bar had a wonderful variety of fruits, vegetables and cheeses. The majority of the entrees served where tender and tasty.
As always, this was a great experience. The buffet is one of the best in Philadelphia and the meats were top notch. Service is wonderful.
Went to Fogo with a group of 10. They were more than accommodating, and made the experience super memorable. Our group will definitely be attending soon again!
Very good place , make sure you go hungry and like meat
I believe the charge was overly priced for what all that I and my partner ate. This was excluding seafood. Also there wasn’t much steak coming to our table, mostly dried chicken.
Excellent as usual!
Excellent! The service was great, the food was delicious. The noise level was a little bit loud but that was ok it added to the energy of the evening. They were very accomodating when we arrived early which was very nice. The prices were very reasonable.
Very impressed. Everything was good!
We had to ask so many times for the filet mignon. It was taking up to 10 min before they were showing up. On the other hand, They kept coming with the chicken and pork.
Also very few selections of meat. Overall quite a disappointment. I am used to Texas de Brazil which offer 15 different meat selections.
Great atmosphere. Food spectacular. Service was stellar. Left positively stuffed.
When we were first seated and placed our drink orders everyone’s drink as well as our entree’s came before my cocktail I then expressed to the waitress that I still didn’t have my drink and I no longer wanted it. The food where do I start completely subpar not fresh and quite frankly disgusting we will NEVER go back here and will spread the word.
Once again, Fogo de Chao does not disappoint. We arrived a couple of minutes before they start seating and we were given the option of waiting at the bar or sitting in the reception area. We were seated immediately at 5:30 and even though they filled up quickly we were served promptly and courteously. Even with dessert, we were out by 6:30 - plenty of time to get to the next stop on our evening's plans.
A+++++ great service great food great manager highly reccomend
Felt like an applebees experience with more meat. Server was nice but overall not a great dining experience.
They come by so quickly there isn’t much chance to
Talk and eat food..bill was wrong but corrected
Yes I would recommend to a friend but a lot of people can not afford the price. All the meats were delicious except for the lamb chops. The filet was the best.
Good place to try at least once, and for special events . A meat eaters delight, also all cuts are heavily seasoned., served and carved tableside, all you can eat. The market table( Salad Bar) is a good option for non meat eaters, many tasty side dishes, and a couple fish options. The service was sort of Blah... We did not feel special, like some other places make us feel. The cocktail choices are tasty! The Flan and tres leches was very good! We probably wont be back unless we have guests that want to try the unique Churrasco experience!
Loved everything about the experience. This was my first time and I will definitely be returning to dine here.
The service was poor, it took 15 to 20 minutes for meat carvers to come to our table with something other than chicken or pork; items we don’t consume. Further, the quality of the available meats has diminished from previous experiences, or the establishment was holding the better quality meats from hitting the floor. The establishment has become too casual, there is no etiquette. The carpets are dirty and warned-out. This establishment requieres better management and an upgrade. Will not return.
Service was lacking. Inattentive server. Had to ask for dessert and again for check. It's too pricey a place for that! Meat gauchos very nice but tried to ply us with chicken, pork and other cheap meat. Had to ask for beef and lamb. Lamb guy came once. Seriously?
This was my first time at this restaurant and we came with a large group. They have a very nice salad bar and the rolls at the table are amazing but I would not fill up on that. The meats started coming around and we started out strong with some very tasty meats. As our eating went on the quality went down a little and it was hard to locate certain cuts of meat even though I saw the servers on the floor with other tables. I would go during the week where the price is more affordable. At $59 it is a lot not including any drinks
Great service, and the food is always good. We received a scratch off coupon and took $75 off of our bill!
Not punctual in seating , food is no wow factor , nothing creative , service is poor
Food not clean; ended dinner with the runs. Otherwise staff is nice and friendly. Fun atmosphere.
