Do not go here. Had a reservation today and when we arrived they told us they don’t take reservations on the weekend. Totally ridiculous given I made one and received a reminder from them. We were on a tight schedule and had we known they do not honor reservations we would have never gone there.

The food and service are very good. I made the reservations through this app. However, according to the host they do not use Open Table and Do Not take reservations. We were added to a waitlist and took about 30 minutes. I’m not sure where the confusion is but there is a sign in the front door with awards for Open Table 2022.

The mini pork dumplings were good, but my pork belly entrée wasn't anything special. Upon noticing that there were white button mushrooms in my entrée instead of the advertised shiitake mushrooms, I mentioned this to the waiter. Instead of admitting that they were out of shiitake and had to substitute them with something cheaper, he said "these are the ones we use." I don't think that's the case. I think the restaurant is overrated. It's unfortunate that in my short time in Savannah I ate there for one of my meals. I was so hungry that I still ate my whole entrée, but it was not worth it for the price.

We had a great time, the location is a bit tricky but if you know how to maneuver it’s fine, the price for the quality of food is good it’s just so much food, one plate can easily feed 2 people… why not encourage patrons to share!!

So disappointed. The dumplings were decent - had the shrimp, pork dumplings (both steamed and fried) The spicy fried pork chop was dried and overcooked. My garlic chicken was still cold … clearly they had cooked the chicken the night before and used it for the stir fry. The other two meat dishes (pork and cabbage and beef with fried onions) were also lacking in flavor, tenderness and not hot (temperature). So surprised the reviews on this restaurant. I’ve had better Chinese at the mall food court. :/

The food was very good and I’m a regular carry out customer. However, we decided to eat inside the restaurant the other day. The music was way too loud which ruined the ambience and ability to have a conversation. The service was average.

Small cramped dining space so sitting uncomfortably close to the other tables to hear conversations and overall “personal space” Server did not come to table to check if we needed any water refill , another drink or ask how the food was. Staff did not remove the appetizer plate when main course was served so with the tiny tables it made for even more uncomfortable space to enjoy a meal. Was rushed out at end of meal by server- again didn’t ask if we enjoyed meal, needed more drinks or even if we would like dessert he simply came to the table ( with our plates still in front of us ) and said - your bill is $xx.xx with his payment scanner How rude.

We made reservations through open table. When we arrived at the restaurant and checked in for our reservation, we were told they don’t take reservations. We pointed out that we made reservations on open table and that those reservations were confirmed. Then they said that, well, we take reservations, just not on weekends. We then pointed out that it was Friday, not the weekend. They still would not honor the reservation and told us they would treat us as a walk in with a 30-40 minute wait. Totally unacceptable. We left.

This place is amazing! From the greeting to the service to the atmosphere to the menu to the food… this restaurant was excellence embodified. Our server Avery was spot on with his recommendations. Don’t sleep on Flock to the Wok!

Man, I hate giving bad reviews, but the service was so bad that I can't give it more than a couple stars. The food was good, which is a plus. In times like now that customer service is horrible, I try and be sympathetic but when your entire experience is bad because of the service, the food doesn't really help. My husband and I had to get our own plates, ordered one glass of wine and never saw our server ever again. People, if you can't handle the traffic, stop sitting so many tables. I even had reservations and that made no difference. Too bad because the food is good.

The dumplings were California/New York quality. The entrees were delicious and HUGE. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. Definitely will be going back.

Homeless man sat beside us .. felt bad for the young people there trying to keep him from making a scene . The food was just so so snd $$ for what you get . Oh they also said they don’t use open table . Won’t go back

Food was great, may become our go to spot for Chinese food but probably only take out. Service on the other hand - our server Julia N. (according to the receipt) rushed us, not once but twice. We were still eating our food and she came by and asked if we needed boxes, we answered and said yes probably but we’re still working on our food. 5 mins later she came back again and said so do we still need boxes, again we said yes. She brought back 2 boxes and then said let me get your check, and brought that over (we’re still eating by the way). Then she comes back again and says so are you ready to pay your check? Okay yes I guess I am Julia, even though I don’t have my card out yet and we’re still eating, sure let me just grab my card for you so you can be done with us. I honestly don’t know why she was rushing in the first place but that’s neither here nor there. Don’t rush your customers out - give them time to enjoy their food and the company. Julia needs to calm down and learn to take her time and not have people feel rushed. Food = very good Service = could be better

We heard about this restaurant from friends, who said it was great. They were not wrong. First the soup dumplings were hot little pillows of love. The soup was savory and the pork filling was fresh and tasty. We shared the steamed flounder, the two of us could not finish it. It was also very fresh and nicely spiced. Veggie fried rice included crunchy bok choy. Looking forward to returning.
