We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

Great pizzas for 4 people with gorgeous chips on side. Service for drinks quite slow but otherwise a great place to go to eat . Had a lovely adult family time. We booked very early 4pm which seemed to be parents and baby time. Will book for later next time . Staff lovely.

Great thin base pizza. Just what we like. Been a couple of times recently. Recommended to us by an Italian and I guess you cannot get a better recommendation than that. Top tip. Unless you've a very healthy appetite, avoid a larger starter....

Overpriced soggy pizzas. It’s so disappointing to have experience this with all my family and friends. What happened to this particular restaurant it used to be so so efficient and delicious. I hope they will bring it back up again as it’s really a very very poor pizzas all around. The consistency is very important to reach the point where they don’t loose anymore customers as I was surprised that they allowed this to subside.

All of my party were very impressed, first of all by the staff who were friendly which is a good start to the experience. Everyone commented on how good the pizzas were and the portions. One minor gripe was the 2/3 pint? It would be nice to have a full pint especially if someone really likes it. With that being said a really enjoyable evening.

Amazing place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were 50/50 kids and adults and the experience and food was amazing. We will be back. They made our family feel very welcome.
