                  A very long wait time between ordering and receiving food. Bread service not available. If we had known that our food preparation was going to be delayed we probably would have ordered appetizers.

                  The food was excellent, every dish was delicious, the service was a little slow, our waitress only came to the table when we called, it got a little busy and perhaps they’re a little understaffed but overall food is what matters most and I’m looking forward to going back.

                  We discovered this gem while looking for a quick bite near I-684 after a long day of renovations, and we were so pleasantly surprised. Katonah, like so much of Westchester, is incredibly charming, although parking can sometimes be a challenge. Farmhouse immediately stood out because of its expansive menu and, as an added bonus, its own parking lot. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The tavern was warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated for fall. The doors were open to the crisp autumn air, with colorful leaves surrounding the property, which made the entire setting feel especially inviting. The restaurant was lively without ever feeling uncomfortably crowded, and every member of the staff we encountered — bartenders, servers, and waitstaff alike — was friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely. The drink menu was festive and thoughtfully curated, with a wonderful selection of cocktails as well as mocktails, which was such a nice touch for a midday visit. The food was spectacular, dessert was equally wonderful, and even the restrooms were immaculate. We truly had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Farmhouse is the kind of place you immediately want to tell your friends and family about, and we absolutely will. We are already looking forward to coming back.
