We are excited for your visit, and welcome you to experience our beautiful outdoor dining room in Newport Beach. That being said we are outdoors and encourage all guest to dress appropriate to the season. We have added a beautiful heated covered awning for the winter months. We offer blankets for sale that can be kept, or left behind and donated to a local charity we support. We will still be requesting a two hour dinning limit per visit.

    Underwhelming honestly. Plating was so-so, and food was nothing to write home about. The cheese board was very mediocre and just didn’t wow like many places of similar caliber. The halibut special was panko crusted and had no crunch. The RG burger was undercooked (ordered medium), and the fries that came with it were just sad. No seasoning on that plate whatsoever. 2 people, 1 glass of wine, 1 appetizer and two mains came out to $130. Ambiance is beautiful and service was great. Just don’t come with high expectations of quality for the price.

    Very nice ambiance decorated for Christmas and a nice touch with the Christmas Carolers. Service was not as expected. It was on a busy Sunday but hope to have a better experience next time.

    Never have had a bad experience here. Food always consistently superior. Service was excellent. And the AMBIANCE!!! Fabulous!! But do make reservations well in advance. Gets booked quickly!

    Absolutely amazing!!! The food and ambience was so good!! It’s definitely a slower, relax, have a good conversation place and not in and out. We celebrated my mom’s 67th birthday. Allow time for parking as the valet was super backed up and there was no other parking options. Beautiful grounds to walk around.

    A beautiful evening, excellent service and thank you Brandon for making our dinner experience amazing! Everything was perfect! Our only small complaint is not being able to Christmas Shop after dinner, everything was closed. So come early before your dinner reservation to shop /browse and enjoy all the festive decorations, and Christmas spirit!

    Waitress was great but I had a 2:45 reservation and was called to the table at 2:25 “because the table was ready.” We were timing our meal around our shopping and were rushed, never able to finish our shopping. I have never had a restaurant move the reservation time to their liking. It was quite an inconvenience as we planned around the reservation time. I wouldn’t have initially chosen such a late lunch time but it was all that was available. You shouldn’t have it both ways.

    Dining at the Farmhouse is always a treat! Our server Kate and everyone else who tended to our table was cheerful and attentive! Our lunch was delicious with our salad and featured pizza! The glasses of chardonnay added to our celebration and were a perfect accent! It remains a special occasion place for me due to the prices and I look forward to celebrating with you at the Farmhouse in the future!

    We were pleasantly surprised with the service after trying to reserve a table for 6 or to place our reserved tables of 4 and 2 close together. The person answering the phone would not even try accommodating us and was quite rude. We were in Newport from out of town for a birthday celebration and to visit Rogers Gardens after lunch. When we arrived they sat us at a table for 6 and we had a lovely lunch with great service.

    Great salads. Decorated pretty for holidays. Our waiter was very good and made sure everything was perfect. Bring a jacket - some areas of restaurant are colder than others.

    We were early and they were able to seat us 15 minutes early. Service was exceptional. The food was amazing and exquisite. Flavors were so unique and they worked. Dessert was chocolate cake, small and perfect size with a very tasty apple sauce and a few pomegranates, so unique! And a scrumptious cream. Crazy flavors to put together but they all came together beautifully. I’d go back tomorrow.

    This is an annual Christmas event for us. Food was good, it was busy but service was still good. The only negative is the was a large dog at a table close to us and it kept barking randomly. Very disruptive.

    All four of us enjoyed our meals. Each had something different. I ordered one of the specials, Panko Crusted Halibut in a miso sauce and was quite pleased. I also chose to order the mushroom soup, which was only fair, as it lacked the full mushroom flavor. I also had a dessert cake and requested that one ingredient be left off. However, the kitchen, without asking me decided to add powdered sugar which was not an ingredient I wanted, so they remade it without the powdered sugar.
