    Host was overwhelmed, seated 25 minutes after reservation at end two top by lots of traffic, brought wrong food out the first time. It was fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Feels like a Cheesecake Factory.

    The food was great as always! However, the service was much to be desired. The waitress would take the plates away and the people walking around with the appetizers would stop at our table but I made the best of it any way.

    While the setting was great. Noticed the food has dropped a few pegs. The shrimp has gotten smaller and in pieces instead of whole shrimp. The food on the line had not been replaced or rotated before dryness set in. The waiter was oblivious to checking in and serving hot coffee. Some extra services for employee messages were added yo the bill and should/ is not customer responsibility. Not like it use to be. 😩

    Food was lackluster. Steak was tasteless and overcooked. Chicken was dry. Green beans were tasteless. Presentation was messy. I expect more for these prices. But what struck me most was the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom, the cafe, and where food was being prepared was all dirty. The bathroom especially was filthy. If I had seen the state of the restaurant, my family would have never eaten there. Disappointing.

    I choose to come to Farmers Fishers Bakers because I read good reviews, and it was recommended. As a culinary professional, I was dissatisfied with some of the food. The honey fried Chicken and Taco items were great. However, the Cinnamon Rolls were hard and dense. The grits were horrible. When we mentioned it to the manager, she said that they the grits were stone ground, regardless of the type of grits they should be smooth and creamery not grainy and thick like paste. I could go on about the other brunch items but choose to say this, the culinary team needs to regroup and put more effort into preparing the food properly and PLEASE try another Cinnamon Roll recipe.

    The service was excellent! However, the food here has just gone downhill. This visit and last were disappointing. I also wonder what happened with my pie. I was told they were out, but after a disappointing replacement dessert, a slice magically appeared from the kitchen. The server told me they baked one, however, the slice was cold so that wasn't the truth. Either way, I am unsure I can call this my favorite restaurant anymore. I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened. Very sad.

    We were headed for the Kennedy Center and wanted to eat nearby. This place was a pleasant surprise. We had eaten at Founding Farmers, which is also excellent but pricey, and we expected the same here. But, the menu was smaller, and less expensive. This was a surprise considering the location in the heart of DC/Georgetown waterfront. The food was excellent. Ceviche to die for. (Flank) Steak and enchiladas cooked perfectly with excellent sides. Even the scallops were good (I am not a fan). Highly recommended. We will go back.

    The service was excellent and the food featured normal fare but with an extra umph to make it that much better like a short beer with the fish and chips, or a cinnamon stick infused syrup for the chicken and waffles. It is great location with nice ambience. Honestly, it's quite loud like a bustling restaurant so it can make conversation a little difficult. All worth it.

    Unfortunately food was cold. We had to ask for the pass around items never even offered it to us. Inconsistent information about food availability and they charged us for coffee when they said it was included.

    Unfortunately this restaurant was a disappointment for Thanksgiving. Outside patio was poorly warmed, seated 30 minutes after our reservation time, and food was mediocre and cold. Overpriced for quality of food and nonexistent service.

    Had booked for Thanksgiving but had to wait 45 mins for our table. Table calling process was a bit disorganised, and names of people not called out, so waiting guests could not hear. Waitress walked around aimlessly trying to find guests, based on their names on a slip of paper.

    Don’t ever do Thanksgiving here - we had reservations, got there early and there were 40 people waiting ahead of us for their reservations. We waited 45 minutes before our table was ready. Terrible experience.

    They were behind on reservations by an hour. Although they were very attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions, everything took such a long time. We understood that everywhere is going to be busy and overwhelmed on thanksgiving but, it was a bit over the top. The server tried their best but they ran out of several things after we ordered which most places would know about before approaching the table between courses. Although 4 different managers touched our table, not one took it upon themselves to check in after half the party had left prior to receiving the check. I would recommend taking half as many reservations.

    We have been coming here for Thanksgiving for over 7 years. We have never had an issue until last night. I know some people there were having issues with their reservations. Every year we have to wait 15-20 past our reservation so, that was not the issue. The problem was we saw tables seated after us and they all had their drinks and meals before us. People seated behind us, who were seated at least 10 minutes after us, got their first and second course and we were still waiting for our salads and bread board. Our server was nice but overwhelmed. We had to ask and wait forever for water and our drinks. The server kept telling us our food would be out and eventually said we don’t know what happened to your food. When we did get our food, the portions were smaller than normal, turkey was dry, vegetables were sad looking. They ran out of some desserts. Asked for coffee never got it. Finally made eye contact with the service manager and asked her to cancel the coffee and to please give us the check. I have never wanted to get out of a restaurant so fast. Sadly, I think this might be our last year coming here for Thanksgiving.

    We were very disappointed. We arrived early and a surly host told us they were running 30 minutes late. They were. The waiter was pleasant but seemed overworked. Our ice tea came 5 minutes after the main course. The salad was great—very fresh and tasty. The turkey was a bit dry and both of us had some gristle. My wife’s plate had no stuffing, and when she asked for it, it took about 15 minutes. My dessert was a great piece of apple pie with unexpected ice cream. My wife ordered pumpkin pie but received pumpkin cheesecake. We ended up getting the pie to go. The restaurant was clearly understaffed.

    FFB nailed Thanksgiving dinner, I mean nailed it to the point that I may stop hosting and instead enjoy a delicious family dinner with my family where I’m not shopping, cooking, and baking for days. I’d never celebrated Thanksgiving dinner outside of home (be it my grandparents, parents, or mine), but It was absolutely wonderful to sit down, have everyone order whatever they wanted (I enjoyed a nice slice of herb crusted medium rare prime rib, others salmon, or fried chicken); in fact, no one even ordered, turkey! Butternut squash, soup, and bread board had me full before my entrée even arrived, but that’s all right by me because now I get to enjoy some delicious leftovers tomorrow). Dinner at FFB may just be our new family tradition.  Suggestion to management: have seated dining times that limit dinner to 1.5 hours (inform guests of this at time of reservation, printed on the menu, and 30 minutes before their 1.5 hour reserved dining time is up to be able to honor guest’s reservation time; a 40 minute wait for our reservation was excessive)

    Thanksgiving day, made reservation for 5:30 weeks in advance. Checked in at 5:20, didn't get seated until 6:15. Mob of people everywhere. Loud club style music, very loud in the restaurant. Very bad experience

    Came with my 91 year old diabetic mother in law and was made to wait 45 minutes to sit at our table. And we were not able to get any food for her while we waited - this is a major health issue. Food came out very slow. There needs to be a better system to ensure people ca sit at there actual reservation time and you need to be able to take care of people with unique needs. Will NOT return here on a holiday.

    We had thanksgiving dinner there, food was delicious and our waitress was excellent very friendly in a very stressful day! Overall great time and will be back :)

    Waited 45 minutes for a five pm reservation. Soup was cold, dinner was rushed, turkey gravy was cold, dessert not cold enough, was not offered coffee. Not coming back next year, over crowded, to many people, not enough tables, a lot of people were complaining.

    We had a less than stellar experience for Thanksgiving. We weren't seated until nearly 5:45 despite having a 5pm reservation. It was clear that many others were in the same boat, as the front reception area was packed & there was no where to even comfortably wait for the 45 minutes span, with two small children in tow. When were finally seated, we were initially rushed through the experience. Our bread, first course, and second course all arrived within a minute of each other...leaving not even an inch of physical space available on the table. Fortunately a manager came by and offered to take our entrees back until we were ready. Still, this seems like common sense and very basic dining protocol. The food was fine- some good, most meh, and the turkey- ironically - the worst part of the meal. Super rubbery, chewy, and difficult to cut- much less eat. The service started strong and seemed to fade soon after our orders were in. The ambiance was disappointing - loud and stressful with hoards of people waiting for tables due to overbooking. All in all, a disappointing experience for what we hoped would be special holiday meal.

    The food was exceptional yesterday! my friend and I have gone to Thanksgiving except for in 2020 every year for 7 years. Miriam is a fabulous server!!!

    I really loved my experience last year for their Christmas Buffet. This year Thanksgiving the price was the exact same as the Christmas buffet and advertised the same but it was NOT buffet style and that totally screwed me over having two children under 10 to feed on Thanksgiving. They had nothing child friendly to choose from on appetizers and nothing worth eating on main dishes. My youngest sent back her overly breaded very small piece of chicken and the soup. I was not impressed with this location and the Thanksgiving dinner. My bucks would have been better spent at Golden Corral especially since I feel I got finessed out my money. They put the sides they wanted for you too. It was weird. Not impressed. Oh, and they had the nerve to charge 5 bucks for each beverage. I guess including thirst quencher flavors of beverages in their dinner ensemble was too much to ask for ..smh wish I could get my money back. But the salmon was okay. I would not go back to this location

    Was Thanksgiving pre fixe dinner. Restaurant was packed. We arrived 20 minutes early and got seated 30 mins after our reservation time. They were short staffed so service was a bit slow. The server and manager did great service recovery. Would go back again.

    It was so nice to just sit and be pampered on Thanksgiving. No hassle in the kitchen, just sitting and talking with family. I don’t think I will ever make Thanksgiving dinner again. I will go out to Farmers, Fishers, and Bakers. Best Thanksgiving ever!!
