   A plush NYC or Paris style restaurant in the heart of the Hotel Zone. Food, soup to nuts, is outstanding and the waitstaff's attention to every detail is to be admired. The dinner is complete with excellent piano music played by one of the best pianist in Cancun. This is definitely the spot to go to and to be remembered on your vacation in Mexico's premiere resort destination!

   It was like stepping back in time when things were elegant and romantic in a restaurant. The pianist did a fabulous job adding the music and ambiance to the evening. The food was excellent and we were glad we ordered the Anniversary Tasting Menu! The service was top notch, too! We had a lovely evening. Thank you for maintaining class and service. It will be a night my husband and I will remember from our trip.

   The restaurant service is timed perfectly with food and beverages served in unison, as if choreographed. The filet was delicious, as were the sides, amuse bouche, and desserts. The pianist plays lovely music. The only surprise was that very few people dined there. Lively space with amazing service and delicious food.

   I believe this is the easiest, most positive dining review I've ever written because everything was simply exceptional. Superb service, food quality and preparation, and setting, including live piano performance of popular music that elicited appreciative light applause from diners. My dinner guest and I each ordered two courses, which were accompanied by four small, unexpected complimentary plates served before and after the two dishes we ordered. "El momento de la verdad / The moment of truth," as the head waiter said when uncovering the main dishes, is that we had an outstanding dining experience!

    We went to Fantino for a birthday dinner on NYE. Unless we missed the information in the website somehow, we did not realize the menu would be price fixed for the evening. The cost per person was $250 excluding drinks. $250 per person! We had 10:00 pm reservations so we knew we would not likely find dining options if we left. The service and ambiance was great. The food wasn’t up to par with the cost. I ordered the filet which was served almost at room temp and was over cooked. $700 dinner that would ordinarily cost less than 1/3 of that amount at any high end US restaurant. Nice restaurant but again just not worth the cost and food was just ok.

    The first two courses were beautiful, innovative, and delicious. The main course was a typical steak and not very special salmon. Tiramisu was a tiramisu. Overall it was a lovely environment with attentive wait staff.

    Being advertised as one of the top 10 best restaurants in Mexico, I now realise that this is not an exaggeration, it is an understatement. After this dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this as one of the top restaurants on the planet. The attention to detail, the overall service, and the sheer impact caused by the carefully designed dishes at Fantino's makes it worthwhile of being a restaurant in your bucket list. This is, hands down, a hidden jewel of the Mexican Caribbean.

    This has been our Best Experience so far in culinary exploration/celebration of Charo’s LX birthday. The quality of service of ALL staff, make you feel like you are on Cloud 9 🙌🏼 🤩 The quality of the food & artfully preparation displayed by the Chef on each course was OUTSTANDING ✨🤌🏼 The ambience with a expertly curated & perfectly executed piano set, was on point 🎹🎶👏🏼 Kudos to all & keep up the good work, we will DEFINITELY beBack for more 😉

    I would give the Fantino 6 stars if I could. Not cheap but you get what you pay for in this case. Service is tops, watching the waitstaff in action was a pleasure. Food was prepared perfectly.

    We have been to Fantino on many many occasions and found that the entire experience is well worth the value. The food is exemplary, the service is spectacular, and the entire presentation is an era of walking back in time when fine dining was an enjoyable experience. The food is absolutely outstanding and you get to try things you would never find it anywhere's else and prepared in a fashion that will be very difficult to find anywhere else. Every time we are in Cancun we always take one night to go there along with our guests even though we stay in an all-inclusive and their meals are wonderful the experience at Fantino is just unbelievable. If you have the chance go there at least one time it will be well worth your expenditure of monies for an enjoyable meal. Sincerely Keith and Alison Parsell

    Thank you to the chefs and staff at Fantino for an amazing culinary experience. The execution was spot on, service felt like we were being cared for like family and the setting could not have been more perfect. The piano serenade was the perfect compliment. The menu is scaled up but very approachable for those new to fine dining or different flavors. The little chef compliments throughout the meal were the perfect touch to prepare us for the next step of our tasting adventure. All in all I highly recommend to anyone looking for traditional and locally inspired dishes prepared with the freshest of ingredients and love. We will for sure be back any time we are in Cancun.

    We were celebrating our honeymoon, and Fantino lived up to the occasion in every way. In particular, the service was really special — we felt totally taken care of and were blown away by the quality and care of our servers. More than just a meal; worth every penny!     I cannot remember a better meal…ever. We dined here our first night in Cancun and had to go back again our last night because we could not get over how perfect it was, start to finish. The service was outstanding and every course was exceptional. Beautiful decor, piano playing, and overall lovely atmosphere. I recommend the salad with truffle burrata to start.
