In the lower depths of Fallon & Byrne lies the romantic, candlelit Wine Cellar, where the shelves are stocked with wickedly quaffable wines from every corner of the globe. We can recommend every last one, to be enjoyed with a light bite or a feast from our all-day food menu including Neapolitan style pizzas and freshly made pastas. And to banish those early week blues, we offer €1 corkage on all retail wines to enjoy in the Cellar every Monday & Tuesday (excluding December)

    A lot more tables since I was last there. Lost its appeal in a way. Little overpriced. Wine is delicious but pricey. Nice treat but staff overly fussy. I’d pay more for better and more varied menu.

    I met two American friends for dinner here, and we were all so impressed. The staff were just the best sell on Irish hospitality at its top notch...sincere and engaging...and funny. The food...yum! The wine...amazing taste and value. The ambiance...a wonderful blend of warm and cozy and buzzy and funky (especially the walls). The verdict? I'll be going back and bringing more friends with me.

    Service was great…pizza was also great. Paparadelle ragu was terrible…it wasn’t seasoned, it wasn’t papparadelle and most people assume that ragu(sauce) involves meat but it was just a tasteless random veg…I love this place and enjoyed the wine, service and the evening but I’ve made better pasta drunk..still highly recommend but just get the sharing boards and the pizza 🤗

    The menu is very restricted it needs to be improved/expanded. The fish stew has good fish in it, I can see them, but it does not taste of fish!

    This was our third night in a row eating here. The shareable boards and the mains were great. And such fun to pick wine from the shelves. Obviously we enjoyed it to return 3 times in a row.

    The wine cellar in Fallon and Byrne has a lovely atmosphere. I went with a friend but I could see myself going with my partner as it also has a romantic vibe. The service was excellent and the woodfire pizza is delicious. Their choice of cocktails is impressive, along with a long list of wine choices. If you are not into either, they also have a variety of beers and ciders to choose from. We didn't feel rushed and even though we were slightly late for our booking they were very accommodating and had a table ready for us on a Friday night. They have a good range of vegetarian options also, which was great because it can be hard to find in some restaurants. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
