Located just a five minute walk from Grafton Street, there’s a simple idea behind Fallon & Byrne and it is we believe in wonderful food, fine wine and great company. Spread over four floors in a stunning heritage building, Fallon & Byrne is Dublin’s favourite award-winning foodie destination and the place to immerse yourself in all things delicious. The elegant Dining Room is housed on the second floor where light streams through beautiful large windows into one of the city’s most handsome rooms, that also features a stylish cocktail bar.     Lovely welcome into the comfortable & spacious 1st flour dining space. A varied and interesting menu, with a good choice of meat, poultry, meat and vegetable options. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, must particularly the Gazpacho, soup, the chicken & lamb main courses and the Strawberry dessert. There’s a great choice of wines by the glass and bottle. The Dining Room was busy but not too noisy. Prices are reasonable for an eaterie of this calibre. I’d definitely recommend F&B.

    The room is nicely laid out with a decent space between the tables. The service is excellent and the food is very good. I have enjoyed 2 excellent meals within the last few months in Fallon & Byrne. The ambience is good, but there was a table of 18 people who were very loud - not your fault. I thought you had thoughtfully put the large table to one side of the room and put everyone else on the other half - this was good planning. They did get quieter when they were eating. Good venue, good service and good food. There were no dogs there - and I hope the dog friendly restaurant doesn’t become a constant thing. All you need are 2 dogs and they’re likely to start barking at each other - not what I’d like.

    Great food, if a little small on the portion sizes. The starter menu also a little limited A soup or some kind would be nice in there The prices are a little elevated to put it mildly. particularly the starters.

    Big group went for dinner, all agreed the food was perfect. The service was prompt. The only negative feedback is from the moment we sat down, the waitress began to upsell us wine and other drinks. We don’t mind a recommendation but at times it felt interruptive, rude and patronising. This included arguing with us and telling us the choice of wine we were making was incorrect. Felt as if stock was being offloaded.

    Our dinner at Fallon & Byrne was amazing. We had the early bird 3 course set menu and the food was great. Service was outstanding and very friendly and value is quite good for the quality of food we had. We initially came because we got a 20 euros voucher from buying in the Fallon & Byrne shop but we'll definitely come back by ourselves with no vouchers!

    Not an overly extensive menu but everything we could have wanted. The scallops were perfect in every way. Mains were equally delicious ( lamb and chicken) cooked, presented and served beautifully. Wine list not my area of expertise but I enjoyed it and was wisely guided. We had the charming Daniel and his colleagues to ensure our lunch was top class. Many thanks to all the team x

    We celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary in the dining hall and it blew our expectations out of the water. Everything from when we entered the dining hall was perfect we were give a complementary glass of Prosecco to begin the celebrations. The food was sublime, I had scallops for starters and it was Michelin star quality. The cod for mains was fab and the cocktails and desert were heavenly. There was a lovely lady who recommended wines for each course, the atmosphere was perfect and I would highly recommend for a romantic meal or a casual treat for an amazing dining experience.

    Outstanding food and exceptional service. Server was extremely knowledgeable about the wine list and persuaded me to change my selection; it was perfect with the dishes we ordered. Restaurant was a bit noisy, but you get used to it after awhile.

    Nice to be back here. Food was good but service was disappointing. There were plenty of staff and each of them were professional and courteous but we were having to ask for service. There was a manager but there didn’t appear to be any attempt to allocate waiting staff to particular tables or areas.

    Lovely as always. Food is excellent. Staff were polite, patient and friendly. We weren’t rushed so it was a lovely relaxing experience. Fallon & Byrne is consistently very good on all fronts.

    We were at a wedding reception here last year and said we would return the next time we were in Dublin and try the dinning room and it did not disappoint. The service and the food was top class we had a fab night.

    Overall a very pleasant lunch and good value. The food was very tasty and well presented. My chicken however was on the dry side. A pet hate- Only a few tables occupied for lunch, but we had three different servers attend our table, asking the same questions within minutes of each other. I always think it best to have an assigned server to a table where possible. So when you have just ordered wine, you don’t get another server asking whether you would like to order drinks. This happened a few times over the courses. Would certainly return. Have had very pleasant evenings here in the past.
