    Easily, by a wide margin, the best Greek I've had in Ottawa. The food was fantastic - we had the seafood board and the moussaka. Desserts were delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Eat here!

    We've love the food here. The halloumi and avocado salad is simple, but spectacularly fresh. So good. The cocktails are also very nice. We've been going for years. We love it as a dependable place to have a delicious dinner with a relaxed vibe. Saturday night was not that. We had booked not knowing it was Italian Fest on Preston St. But no bother for a Greek restaurant, right? Wrong. Within 10 minutes of our arrival, two live musicians that EVOO had hired started playing—really loud. Everyone in the dining room had to raise their voice to be heard: patrons, servers, guests. The vibe was gone. I realize it was a special event, but the place was already busy. The musicians were completely unnecessary. Fortunately our server was very pleasant and service was quick. We just wish we could have had the relaxing time we had planned all week.

    Definitely good food and good ambiance, though on the loud side. Portions are very generous and it’s better to go with friends to try and share different mezzes. The service was awesome even if the place was very busy. Best to book to secure a table.

    We had the grilled meat platter. Pork was kind of dry and the rest was ok but not great. Fairly expensive for what you get. Service was really good though.

    The service was friendly but a bit confused . The starters were great - dips and pita , sensational salads. Disappointed with meat preparation seemed overcooked- chicken and pork souvlaki . Nice atmosphere tho.

    Overall - an excellent meal. We were a group of 8, half of us enjoyed the EVOO Experience option and the others ordered a-la-carte. The only item I didn’t live was the chicken, which I found to be a little dry. The dips and lamb chops were particularly good. Our server John was outstanding - extremely attentive and patient. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would definitely eat there again.
