   Horrible service. Hostess took us to table and never told us what we had to do to get food at the Buffett style. Had to ask random servers walking around why are we waiting around for over 20 minutes. Was told to see bartender to get bands indicating which service we wanted. Took him another 10 min to finally get to our table and give us wristbands to finally be able to eat. Buffet choices were very limited and trays were quite empty and food was cold and dry. No signs indicating what the food even was to know whether we would want to eat or had dietary restrictions. Very slow servers to replace dishes or clean tables of used dish ware. The music was nice but tables needed more shade or at least some fans outside. Would not recommend or go back.

   DON’T DO IT! Service was TERRIBLE! Food took forever to come out, for example a flatbread took 45 minutes and then it was cold. Some of the people with me never got a meal. One waited over 45 minutes for salmon then they came out and said they were out of salmon. To top that off our original server walked out!! Yes grabbed her purse and left!! Very disappointed and in spite of all the mishaps, management didn’t offer any thing to make things right. TERRIBLE! Pictures and description on website are very deceiving. It’s a pretty rundown place. Visiting from out of town and wish I had done a drive by before bringing so many people. Terrible!

   Ember is a fantastic dining experience. The food was exceptional - every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend Ember to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. 5 stars!

    Looked up a place for Easter brunch in Orlando and this place appeared as a good spot to visit for said occasion. Completely missed the radar for my taste. The food was subpar at best. It was very dark and grungy looking. The food warmers appeared to be second hand and there was not enough serving utensils. My husband doesn’t eat pork and the chicken sausage and bacon shared the same utensil. Our waiter was slow to respond and we had to continually ask for him or go to the bar for our bottomless mimosa refills. The environment is more so a spot to met for drinks and chat with friends. I wouldn’t recommend as an eatery.

    The food was really good. The mimosas were watery but the sangria was ok. Not worth the price. Also the price charged was higher than what shows online. They also added a 20% gratuity to our individual checks. Service on the drinks was slow and we were sitting outside next to the bar. My friend and I decided that this was a “one and done” brunch location.

    Made reservations for my birthday, showed up with my group and waited for 10 min at the front desk without service. Then a passerby server told us to just sit anywhere so we found a table in a section not terribly crowded…only to sit another 15 minutes without service. I have never actually walked out of a restaurant until that day.

    Save your money and go elsewhere. The slowest kitchen ever. We went between basketball games for the NCAA tournament. There was no on at the front to seat anyone. Kitchen had like 6 tables place orders and we never got our food before we had to leave. We ended up walking out having paid for everything and only was able to eat appetizers. FWIW, the parm puffs are awful. Bone dry and overbaked.

    First time here. Made reservations for lunch with clients. Walked in, place was empty. Thant should have been my first clue. Several employees standing around the back bar area. Know body acknowledged us. Second clue. Had to ask, "should we just sit anywhere". of course, why not place was empty. Server was nice enough; however, the food came out and, in a word, "Awful". I was embarrassed and disappointed, however, since I was with clients, I did not make a fuss or send my food back. I have not had dinner there; but based on my lunch experience, I will not be back.

    Tuesday night was DEAD. We were the only party on the entire giant patio. I don't could see how it would be a decently nice experience for happy hour after work on a hot day, but it was lonely and sad for mid week nice anniversary dinner. The website photos and food options made it look more upscale, but it definitely was not. Service was very poor, no silverware, brought beer in a bottle with no glass, "ran out" of the wine we wanted for happy hour, "ran out"of the appetizer on happy hour deal (mind you, we were the only ones there), the food was fine but not exceptional, server never came back to ask about another round for happy hour. We were originally planning on ordering dessert but decided to leave and get dessert elsewhere. Inside using the bathroom before we left, the toilet seat was hanging on by a thread, and one customer was at the bar yelling at the bar tender in a drunken voice. Definitely not the place for a romantic anniversary dinner!

    Front of house was completely disorganized. Our poor host was also our waiter and our bartender...maybe even our cook? There wasn't a shortage of staff but everyone was doing everything and tripping over one another. We sat just before 5, didn't get drinks for almost 20 minutes and didn't get food until well past 6pm. Over an hour for 3 appetizer. We saw two couples walk out and numerous others waiting forever, just like us. We had heard the food was good, and when it finally arrived, it was but not worth the crazy wait. It wasn't even that busy, place was less than half full. They need to step up their game. Unfortunately, I won't be back to find out if they do and don't recommend anyone else goes unless they don't have anywhere else to be and don't mind waiting...and waiting....and waiting. Drinks were good but overpriced as well.

    No service for 45 minutes, it wasn't until I went to talk to the manager that the server came to our table. The manager comped our brunch and brought us a bottle of champagne to help compensate for the lack of service.

    We wanted to try a different place for dinner before the 8:00pm theater show at Dr Phillips. We thought we’d try Ember. We had a 6:00pm reservation but quickly realized that it was not needed. Due to lack of customers our Server, Emily, was very attentive. We got specialty cocktails, an appetizer, and meal. Despite what we saw - all of that was very good. The downfall was lack of “love and respect” of the restaurant by the Manager and employees. They have a large open outdoor space that had tables and bar area littered with used glasses, napkins, dirty plates and trash - that remained the entire 2 hours we were there.. The bar inside needed to be cleaned up as well from dirty glasses and plates on counter. Chairs were not placed evenly at several tables and bar area. It appeared that wherever a person sat, the chair remained in that spot. I think they deal with hard water as silverware and glasses were cloudy. No one seemed to be excited about being there. When we complimented on the meal Emily was happy to hear that. On the website it is said to be a supper club. I am not sure what business model they are using but we never got that vibe. As we walked to the theater we went by other restaurants that appeared to be full. It’s a shame that Ember wasn’t because it has size and a great location. Downtown Orlando needs more of a good variety of dinner restaurants.

    We should have walked out after seeing how the place looked. We got catfished by the pictures online. The decor was old, the lights were similar to the white lights you see at hospitals, and the whole restaurant was empty. My girlfriend ordered one of the drinks as a mock tail, and she pretty much got lemon juice which was super sour. We decided to try the whipped goat cheese for apps, and the bread it came with was heavily doused in salt and pepper, almost inedible. The cheese had a very funky taste and smell to it. It felt like they just grabbed it out of the freezer. I got the bistro burger for main, which was cooked okay, but the bun seemed to be just taken straight from the bag to my plate, no heating or butter. My girlfriend got the vegetable orzo, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it tasted like nothing. It seemed to have a restraining order on any seasoning or anything that could give it some flavor. It looked and tasted reheated. We quickly left the place within 45 minutes of arriving. I will say that our waitress was very nice. Overall, probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to.

    Food choices were good. I did not see an area for select breads such as English muffins or croissants. I was hoping the foods would be labeled. The dessert ran out quickly. It was a very cold Sunday and we were sat outside. We needed to ask for a heat lamp. Found a server and asked for an heat lamp. and the first response was “sorry they are all being used”. The outside patio not full. Shortly after, however, a heat lamp was brought to the table. Thank you.

    This was our first time at the restaurant. It was close to the Dr Phillips PAC, which was why we decided to try it. The place was 80% bar and 20% restaurant. The food was fairly casual and the menu was limited. I had an orzo veggie pasta and an Italian Salad. Both were very good. My husband had a burger and liked it very much. No complaints there. What made our time at the restaurant less enjoyable was the very loud bar crowd and the even louder pounding music. I am sure that the crowd that patronizes this spot enjoys all of that, but it just wasn’t right for us. There is an interesting outdoor area that might have been nice to try if it had not been such a cold night. Would go back, if we could reduce the decibel level.

    The food was fair but found a hair in two separate dishes , we ate outside & there were several people vaping which caused all of our clothes to smell like vape smoke . Not very family friendly when your 3 month old baby gets contact high at brunch .

    This was a disappointing experience. We booked for 5.30 on a Sunday evening. When we arrived our impression was this was primarily a bar which sells food. Only seating was at high top tables which would not have been our choice. We had no other option of seating as we were told most of the premises had been booked for two events. There was only one other couple eating and a very raucous party at the bar who shouted and screamed making conversation impossible. The one table furthest away from the noise was placed next to an open door. We had to keep our jackets on. The food was fine but the experience was awful.

    Reservations at 2pm for brunch but last call is at 2:15pm. Why offer a 2pm reservation if I only have 15 minutes to enjoy (which I didn't even get to order) "brunch." I had no server because she had to close out and dinner menu wasn't available until 4pm. Absolutely madness.

    It’s a great outside experience which is hard to find during the day however we had to pretty much beg for a replacement bottle. For 50$ per person we should have gotten our bottles replaced at a better rate. The food was very hit or miss. Some items tasted amazing while others were just terrible. I’d say up the quality for the price or bring the price down because it’s not matching.

    My friends and I had a great time. We were not really thrilled about sitting at the 4 top by the entrance as it was cold and rainy. However, our service was exceptional!!     I had my Birthday Brunch here with 22 people. The ambiance & the Food was perfect!! We were seated outside, I was a little concerned as it was cool outside but they have outdoor heaters & turned them on without us even asking. The Brunch is amazing!! I had the Brunch with unlimited mimosas which was under $50.00. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Ember

    Very attentive staff in servicing your visit. Staff members work together with such camaraderie. They go out of their way to be sure you have a pleasing and enjoyable visit. Music and atmosphere were a true vibe! Was a first visit, but for certain will return again. Maybe French Toast will be part of the brunch, available next time. 😉
