    Elwood Bathers is excited to announce the commencement of NYE bookings! This year, we'll be offering early bird dinner reservations between 4pm and 6pm and our signature 3 course banquet menu from 7pm. Early Bird bookings will receive a 2 course menu and be allocated a 2 hour dining time. Bookings from 7pm onwards can stay all evening and are priced at $175pp. All tables will be located in the main restaurant overlooking the bay. Table location requests will be taken into consideration however we cannot make any guarantees. Please advise at the time of booking of any dietary requirements. Kids meals and beverages can be settled on the day.

    Love this restaurant the food is amazing the service excellent the view is even better. There was four of us on the table and we really struggled to hear each other talk. It was extremely load. But it was Sunday and it was very very busy.

    What an incredible afternoon at Elwood Bathers with my party of 10 international visitors! A fantastic dining experience is a blend of delicious food and exceptional service, and Elwood Bathers nailed it. The team was beyond welcoming, effortlessly adapting to our ever-changing needs. The food was not only fantastic but served with a level of attentiveness that truly stood out. I couldn't help but notice how the team efficiently scanned every table, ensuring I never had to wait more than 30 seconds for assistance during our entire 5-hour stay. Kudos to Elwood Bathers for making our time unforgettable! Definitely will be back.

    We were warmly welcomed and that set the pace for staff thereafter; polite, efficient and responsive. The food was generally very good; the seafood pasta was a highlight. The extensive wine list offered a great range of options at reasonable prices - and the ambience, particularly as we were seated on the seaside deck, was perfect. Highly recommend!

    The staff were so lovely and helpful and attentive. Our daughter was on crutches and the staff were fabulous in making sure she was comfortable at the table. We love this place and the view never disappoints

    A typically chilly , fresh spring day in Melbourne but tucked up inside the Bathers you are warm and well attended to. Great food , plenty of vegetarian/ vegan options - delicious wine and a huge wine list if that’s your thing! Perfect lunch with friends 🙏

    Unfortunately I didn't get my table arrange next to the window although I have made a special request few weeks in advance. Steak was overcooked, ordered medium well but had well done served. Pasta was overcooked as well, the pasta texture turns very slushy and soft. However, the customer service was great and the view from inside the restaurant was fantastic.

    Absolutely incredible, we were there for our anniversary, married their 10 years ago and we were treated so beautifully, a staff member even took photos for us which is just so kind, food was so great, not a long wait, just fantastic. And the BEST sunset I’ve ever seen with a window view of it!

    Very nice chicken burgers but dessert was a letdown, very expensive and Pavlova was basically a small piece of dry meringue with some cream on the side and a couple of berries around $22 I believe. We were also charged a 10% surcharge as it was a Saturday. This is a bit rich, given the prices were already so high. I will be thinking twice before returning unfortunately.

    Overall the food is rather overpriced when looking at the quality of produce being served. We had canned vegetables served with the Chicken dish. The location is its selling point, and not the menu.

    Our waiter (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was amazing. He read the table of guests to a tee and delivered incredible to service to all of us individually. We were not rushed and felt very looked after. The occasion; was a family reunion plus later that evening we were departing to spread the ashes of two beloved parents, so it was celebration of life with 3 generations in tow. We now have a perfect memory, for all of us, of delicious wine, food, laughter and delightful service. Thank you very much.

    Had a lovely lunch at Elwood bathers and only complaint was the 10% Weekend surcharge which added $75 to the bill. I get long weekends but just for weekends it is a little rich considering they are already charging decent prices for everything else.

    Surely one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. Superbly located right on the beach at Elwood. Indoor or outdoor options. Good menu, good service. A tad pricey, a tad noisy. Plenty of parking but remember to pay. More vegan/vegetarian dishes on the lunch would help.

    Great view but average food. Birthday but did not receive any “happy birthday” from staff, however they are friendly and willing to help. Mainly for the view and vibe. Chips is just like the Mc Donald.

    Discovered by accident after our recent move into East St Kilda, we are in love with this beautiful restaurant – the ambience, the remarkable staff who remember what you like, the delicious food and the beautiful ocean vistas. This is certainly a happy and enchanting place for us.

    Chose Elwood Bathers for my birthday dinner and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great night. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food could not be faulted! Definitely cant go wrong with such a beautiful view and elegant restaurant fit out.
