   What a spectacular location and delicious full four-course dining experience. The champagne bar was the first stop after a long walk from the lobby through the Waldorf Astoria Los Pedregal’s beautiful resort property. Our arrival just before 7pm in early June meant we enjoyed the golden hour watching the waves hit the boulders on the beach below, all while sipping on Duval Leroy Blanc de Blancs champagne. When our table was ready we were escorted to our seating just above the cliff seating, which was good as it became chilly enough after sunset to ask for blankets while we dined. The three courses that followed included a warm papaya and apple soup, followed by our main course of fish and lobster with delicious sides like the corn risotto. During our dinner we thoroughly enjoyed our Perfect Mexican Martinis and Spiked Agave Cocktails. The desert of two profiteroles filled with fruit and chocolate helped us close the night off with a carajillo drink. Definitely worthy of the “top pick” and high ratings from reviewers (and the high end prices)—we will return!

   An extremely beautiful place to dine. Your amongst the cliffs with waves crashing around the cliffs. Very romantic.Food was very delicious but very expensive. $90.00 FOR SEA BASS but they give you soup and appetizer and desert. $160.00 for Filet Mignon and Shrimp.

   Desde el momento que llegas, pasas por un túnel increíble, nos llevaron en carrito de golf al restaurante y caminamos unos cuantos metros hasta el farallón. Nos pasaron de manera directa y la mesa estaba en la montaña con el mar abajo. Las estrellas, el Violin, la iluminación, todo juega un papel muy romántico. Nos ofrecieron los 4 tiempos de comida y todo estuvo espectacular. Fabuloso y 100% recomendado

   Food and service was amazing. But not all tables are created equal. We should have asked for a different table as we were right next to the band and could not hear our server or talk to each other without yelling when the band was playing. Also not every table is near the waters edge, so if that was the vibe you wanted when making the reservation make sure to ask for that. Again tho, the food is amazing and worth the visit.

    A very good experience. We took a second row table since waves and winds were high in mid-May. Provided blankets were cozy. The meal was outstanding, and wine pairings were well suited to the generous. and generous. .

    This was our third dinner at El Farallon and the setting is incomparable. Absolutely gorgeous. However, it was very windy and our evening was definitely affected. When we were brought to the table, towels were placed on our chairs before we sat down and blankets were wrapped around us. This should have been our clue that maybe it wasn’t the night to attempt dining here. The crashing waves sent a constant spray of ocean on us and coupled with the wind, we really couldn’t enjoy the experience. We all wish we were told what to expect and given the opportunity to dine at the other restaurant on the property. I cannot even really comment on the food, although it was all good, because we were so focused on finishing and leaving. When you spend about $250 USD per person on dinner, it’s nice to enjoy the dinner.

    Ambience, location and view is second to none. You are literally sitting next to a huge granite Boulder or mountain and right next to the crashing waves. Spectacular Sea bass was excellent Lobster is okay. Edith’s lobster is twice as good Steak was good. Not the best Potatoes were good but very small portion Green beans and asparagus great Clam chowder soup was very good Drinks are ungodly expensive. Very expensive. Desert is limited and okay. Not great. 5 people. Standard dinners with drinks. $1400

    Gorgeous setting that cannot be compared to any other place on earth! Very high end gourmet food and prepared well. Wait staff is so friendly and attentive. By far the most expensive dinner you will ever have in Cabo but also the most memorable.

    Pedregal is 10 stars….this restaurant is an epic fail. Mediocre service, sub par food that wasn’t warm and sky high prices. The ambience is amazing but this was nowhere near a $300 meal.

    Beautiful ambiance. However, for over $300 for two, one would expect the quality of the food to be extraordinary. And frankly it wasn’t better than ordinary. Great hors d’oeuvres. Soup was good. Salad was ok. Dessert was good. But we have had sea bass in many places all over the world and found El Farallon’s to be very bland and the side dishes underwhelming. We enjoyed the experience, the service and the view, but our impression was that the high cost of the meal was to defray the exorbitant cost to carve this facility out of the mountain and install a tunnel.

    Food was dated. Wish there had been a menu to look at before going - I knew it was seafood /pick your protein, but didn’t realize all the sides and appetizers would be so heavy, not at all Mexican, and all over the place (Greek salad, butternut squash soup in April, truffle macaroni, etc?). Just was hoping for something a little fresher. But ambience/views were truly spectacular. Staff were attentive and lovely. We did get soaking wet from a wave that slashed over the side!

    My food was just simply not good. I honestly didn’t enjoy a thing on the menu. We spent $500 US dollars on dinner and I would have got a better meal from outback or even a Texas Roadhouse. The staff is great as you would expect with that price point, but the food, well we won’t be going back. It’s over priced and not good. All the way to the dessert. Nothing met the price point.
