Of all the gin joints in all the world, this has got to be one of the better ones. Took my gin-loving brother who was visiting here. His and my husband’s first time. We really appreciated the time the staff/owner took to talk to us about the whole world of gin they have available. Many thanks! Looking forward to returning.

The drink concoctions are amazing, plentiful and the most unique of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Though the food selections are minimal, everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the deviled eggs and Bronzino - so, so good! The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of five is the service was a bit slow. To be fair, it was a pretty busy night for them.

I love the beautiful courtyard. The inside is nice too and I love the sewing base tables, but I haven’t sat inside. I didn’t anticipate the plastic tent would be up outside when I told my friend that it would be open air, but I get that usually February would be winter weather and not in the 70s! Great drinks. I didn’t order food this time.

Can’t say enough good things to do it justice. The cocktail menu is beyond extensive, everything is SO creative and prepared with skill and care. Sitting at the bar was a great view of their offerings and entertaining to watch the staff at work and all of the things they served. The shaking and stirring and garnishing was rhythmic, energetic, collegial, fun… and on fire (literally and figuratively)! We need to go back multiple times so I can work my way through all of the amazing cocktails, and the 400 kinds of gin; and the wide variety of inspired alcohol-free options that will make any designated driver or non-drinker feel included and special. The food was pretty amazing, too. And there’s a cool vibe throughout, with different kinds of spaces for hanging with friends.

Cool atmosphere. Bartenders were phenomenal - very congenial, talented and service oriented. Did only light fare, boards, which were tasty, but can't comment on the entrees. Drinks were great, however. Definitely will go again.

So... I've never had such a horrible experience. So bad that I had to create this yelp account to share it with everyone so they don't basically go flush money down the drain like I did. Out of the 7 specialty cocktails we got, Ide say the only one that was worth trying was the "gin-gle all the way cocktail".The rest were not good at all, unless you like the taste of pine-sol. We had a party of four and we're sat alone in a tiny room with old furniture and a table we had to bend over to eat at. We got two of the steak entrees, one chicken pot pie and one smoked Atlantic char. The steaks came out mid-rare (server did not ask preference) and the potatoes were literally boiled, chopped in half and thrown on the plate. The 26 dollar Atlantic char filet was a 4"x4"x1/4" thin sorry excuse for a entree that also came with the plain potatoes. The 22 dollar chicken pot pie had two inches of puff pastry sitting on top of a bowl of inedible soup that had 1 single rectangular cut of chicken that was about 2"x2"x3" long.... So overall the food and drinks and ambiance were all trash. The hostess was awesome! She was polite. The Server named Andrew however must of been having a bad day. I've been to many many many restaurants in Baltimore and the surrounding areas but I've never experienced such a rude, disrespectful, arrogant server. After we got our food and we were all disgusted, all I asked for was some salt and pepper, he never brought it to us after displaying an attitude about the simple request. I paid the 260 dollar bill, giving the horrible server (Andrew) a 20 dollar tip even though he was such a jerk he deserved nothing. He returns to the table once we're ready to leave and slams down two tiny dish's containing a dash of salt and a dash of pepper and walks away. Like seriously? Needless to say we will never be back and hope to see andrew working at McDonald's were he belongs.

I went to Dutch Courage for the first time with my siblings, husband, and his sister on New Years Eve. We had an early dinner in the tent which was still decorated for Christmas and was very cozy. There were some puddles from the rain but overall it was still pleasant. Two people ordered the Leftovers Cubano sandwiches and really enjoyed them. My sister in law loved the chicken pot pie and I ordered the smoked arctic char which was delicious. My sister had the vegan cornucopia bánh mi but wasn’t a huge fan. We also shared the St. Stephen cheeseboard which was a bit underwhelming for the price but do recommend getting the snack basket. Everything was from the festive Gingle Bells menu. All in all we highly recommend checking this place out but maybe go on a nicer day if you sit in the tent or try to get indoor seating! Our server was lovely and overall we really enjoyed the whole experience.
