Nothing special at all about the food. Extremely overpriced for bad Chinese food. You can honestly go to any restaurant in Chinatown for much much better Chinese food at reduced proces

It was a good experience. Overall bar service was the only thing that was lacking because it was too crowded. However everyone who order after my friends and I got their drinks before us. Only thing that was slacking at the this restaurant was the bar service. Everything else was on point. Do not order a drink unless you want to wait for a while... they are worth the wait though.

This was my third time experience at Duck Duck Goat and each time has gotten better. This occasion, we particularly enjoyed the Ham Sui Gok and, as always, the octopus salad. Previously, we had gotten the goat slap noodles and found it to be a little heavy on the cumin; however, this time we tried the beef slap noodles and were thoroughly impressed (it's almost like a rich beef ragu over thick noodles). If you're looking for something with more of a vegetable focus (aside from vegetarian meals), I highly recommend the sichuan eggplant (it has a great balance of eggplant/mushrooms with the occasional bite of duck sausage that has incredible flavor). Shoutout to Jonathan for making my wife's birthday incredible, as well! He was extremely knowledgeable and able to steer us in the right direction given her dairy intolerance. He was also well versed on the beer menu and able to give fantastic recommendations. We will definitely be back!

I was able to make a reservation for 10pm on the weekend 30 mins beforehand. My boyfriend and I got the jiaozi (potstickers), dan dan noodles, and the chongqing chicken. Everything was delicious. The noodles were really saucy. The potstickers were on point. The chicken was cripsy, but it wasn't as spicy as the waiter said it was. I guess our definition of spicy is different than maybe the normal clientele. The table next to us got the duck hearts, baos, and duck fried rice which looked good. Next time I go I will get those items to switch it up. I do want to try the peking duck for sure. Also, next time I will try some deserts because both tables next to got one and I could hear them talking about how good it was. The only con is that we heard pretty much both tables conversations clearly. The sitting is super close and it was hard to hear what my boyfriend was saying even though he was right in front of me. Service was attentive, def going back. :)

Please is cozy and vibrant inside, great decor and table presentation. Definitely fun for a group, and casual. Service is top-notch, everything came out quick, and our server was very helpful and attentive. The fried rice is some of the best I've had, ever. I can still remember how it tastes it's that good. Soups and Dim Sums are not to be missed. Loved almost all of the rest of the dishes. The only real negative (why I dinged a star), was that fried entree dishes ended up being fried to the point that they had a chewy texture. Not a single person in our group enjoyed them. Wasn't a huge deal though we had enough other plates that made up for it.

I have high maintenance food allergies. Duck duck goat and their staff was amazing at identifying what I could eat, adapting recipes to make more available, while not making me feel high maintenance or like a burden to the kitchen. And it was all delicious!!!!

Hands down the best meal I've had in the city. Warm spices blended into asian style dishes. The dim sum lunch was amazing. The duck friend rice was absolutely insane. We also tired the pig face buns and we're blown away. Also they are good about checking on food allergies.

Came here with a larger group for a birthday and had a great time. Very accommodating even though half of us were running late. We loved our server, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all the questions we had before we even had to ask. Food was delicious and we all left happy and full

Unfortunately, several of the dishes were so salty they were barely edible. People at the next table sent their dish back for that reason, and we should have too. The menu was interesting and some of the simpler dishes were very good, but the fried rice, moo shoo and green beans were really difficult to eat because of the salt (probably soy sauce) in the dishes. We were very disappointed and probably won't return, but if we do we will order very differently.

It doesn't get any better than this place! Food was perfection and service was stellar (thanks to Michelle!). I am Celiac and have to eat gluten free but they had a separate menu that covered all the bases. I had the hot and sour soup which was the BEST I've ever had. Also had the pickled cucumbers and shishitos which were incredible. Then the moo shu pork and chonquing chicken - awesome. And don't leave there without trying the fried rice, because that would be a crime. There was even a fabulous guava dessert. So, so good. My husband said the beef and bone marrow pot stickers were beyond incredible and likely the best ones he'd ever eat. Just hoping the other restaurants on our list can live up to this one....

It’s my birthday dinner. We ordered the goat slap noddles, octopus salad, seafood fried rice and the Sichuan eggplant. Highly recommend the goat slap noddles and octopus salad. As a Chinese, these two taste is pretty authentic! There is a birthday ice cream on house, not very sweet, pretty delicious!
