   Cons: Octapus was cooked terribly. Pretty much pure rubber. Maybe one of the worst dishes' we have ever had, anywhere. Would have mentioned it but the servers seemingly had better things to do. By the time they arrived, we were pretty much over it. I asked for a cocktail menu, 20 minutes later, they still hasn't returned to the table and never bothered to follow up to ask me what I wanted. Pretty surprising - maybe the first time I've seen a restaurant at a worpd class hotel go out of their way to avoid taking their customers money. Pros: The pasta was very good. Wonderfully seasoned and cooked. The ambiance, as expected at One & Only, was peaceful and nice. Overall: Given the sheer level of options at the palm, Drift is an extremely hard pass. Pretty sad to be honest. One & Only needs to do a better job of extending staff quality control. Absolutely makes me question their brand.

    Booked this based on the chic wednesday deal. I emailed the drift team a couple times beforehand to confirm we could have a sun lounger by the pool after breakfast and informed them we would need a later breakfast time due to landing that morning. When we got there we weren’t given sun loungers, we were given curved seats on which we could not tan and were not by the pool. They were on a grassy area. We informed the team but they were unable to help so we ended up leaving before breakfast

    Very nice dinner evening with Emma as our server. We had the moules, then beef steak and the sea bass and all var cooked nicely and tasted great. Music was soft jazz and very pleasant.
