   We have been a regular customer of this establishment for years. We have steadily watched the decline and it is sad. For the past 4 times we have ordered a glass of "sparkling" rose and each time the bartender has sent over a flat wine. It is only when you send it back each time you get what you ordered. They are out of things so often it is almost best to ask what they do have. The food is good, but not the quality it used to be and in a world of increasing prices (rightfully so) the appeal is a lot less. It makes me sad because this used to be a great place for lunch/brunch and we love the atmosphere, the service is good but they have a lot of turnover, you never see the same person twice.

   We were there for the Mother's Day Buffet. Wonderful. Service was spot on and the food was well prepared. Jason and Steven are an awesome team of leaders. The house communicates well and keep things going. We had a lovely table and our server(Cole) did a great job seeing We had everything we needed or wanted. I will be back!

   Mother’s Day brunch — REALLY delicious buffet with wide range of offerings plus seafood raw bar and chefs omelette station (with lobster!). Carved Turkey was the best ever, anywhere (prime rib nice too). Salads, vegetables, quiche all so good, but unfortunately soggy French toast was a let-down. Mini-Desserts were a little underwhelming for a special event and tucked in a corner up against a large guest table — ehh. Unfortunately the layout was unnecessarily cramped and we were asked to re-use our dirty silverware — really? My bill out the door for 3 adults and one pitcher of mimosas to share was $350 (including mandatory gratuity) and it just seemed like an awful lot; everything including service and presentation should have been spectacular. But kudos to the chefs, it was delicious.

   Food-wise, least favorite Mother’s Day brunch I’ve experienced over the past 10 years. It wasn’t bad - was just OK. Was not worth the price. However, great outdoor scenery.

    Food was fantastic. Service was good and the ambiance was very nice. We also ordered a champagne pitcher that came with three different juices, the passion fruit one was our favorite and we thought this concept was a great idea. Only wish was that the juice glasses were different, the ones we were given were very difficult to pour into the champagne flutes. Overall, very pleased with the experience.

    Came here for Anniversary date. Service was slow and when I asked them about a gluten free menu, they first didn’t know, and then responded rather rudely when pressed. All the servers seemed tired and sad, which I feel for them, but very disappointing as far as a special occasion. Hardly ever checked on us. Ordered the steak frites… it was very over cooked and when I told the server when they finally came by 20 minutes after giving us food, they just shrugged, said sorry and walked off. Never acknowledged the fact it was a special occasion, rude, bad food, and way too expensive for a charred steak and normal fries. Do not recommend.

    First off, Daniel, who confirmed my reservation, was super patient with me as I flip-flopped on guest counts throughout the process. We arrived a bit before our reservation and hung around the courtyard, got seated by Daniel, and were greeted by Peter, our server. Peter was top tier: super polite and enthusiastic about the food and bev on their menu. He was eagle-eyed with the water refills and his bussing and clearing was graceful and gentle in between courses. Everything he recommended was fabulous, and we tried a TON of options on the menu. The burger, salmon, brussels sprouts… everything was so fairly portioned and carefully made and plated. This is a luxurious place — wonderful and atmospheric with a refined French edge. The space itself is a character, but I love that I can wear a tee and jeans come as I am into such an excellent atmosphere. I had the white linen and vieux carre to drink — both well balanced and mature cocktails. Bravo to the bartender.Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meals and drinks and thats rare for a group of 8 in my experience. I’d also like to mention Tammy, the GM, who came by to check on us and make sure everything was to the restaurant’s high standard. The table-touch is a dying art and it was nice to see management that actively cares about guest experiences on an intimate level. All in all, 20/10. Magnificent work by the whole Dovecote team. I will enthusiastically return again and again.

    If you want great French-American cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere with friendly service, you need to eat here. Our server, Anjali, was wonderful, nice, and attentive. There is definitely a vibe at DoveCote, so it’s great for any occasion!

    The restaurant was not very busy. Overall, we enjoyed most of our food selections, two of our steaks had the add-on sauces mixed up. The risotto was a bit of a disappointment. Small plates were not offered for shareable appetizers - we had to wait for a passing waiter to request some. My highlight was the desserts - the creme brulee was excellent.     Fue la peor experiencia en mi vida, más el día de mi cumpleaños. Hicimos las reservas por open table, cómo nos I rico el Mananger Fabian, con muchos días antes, y llegamos al restaurante y nos dicen teníamos que pedir la comida antes de las 6 pm., y comer e irnos, en menos de una hora TODO! Tenía 30 personas invitadas, unas invitadas llegaron a las 5:30 pm. Me dicen los meseros que no pueden atender comida porque tienen otro evento. Y que si quería tenía que pagar, primero me dicen Us 2.500, luego que Us 500, luego que pague Us 300 y luego que Us 200, acaso era una subasta???? Nadie ni Fabián el mananger que hablo tantas veces con mi hija, nos dijo esta condición!!!! Además les cobraron a todas aguas, no pidieron y además llegaron las botellas abiertas!, panes no pidieron, la sopa salada, el pollo no salió bien, le trajeron porciones extras de papitas fritas, sin haberlas pedido, la mesera nos atendió de mala gana, y para completar un mesero alto, me grita!!!! Y amenaza con llamar la policía. Ah y a una invitada muy importante, le cobraron más de lo que era, hizo el reclamó, pero igual cobraron lo que les dio la gana. Y para colmo nos cobraron la propina obligada a el porcentaje a que les dio la gana. Si a uno lo atienden bien, y todo sale bien, se da una muy buena propina, sino, porque la cobraron obligada??? Eso es ILEGAL. Fue lo mas bochornoso me ha tocado vivir. Mi hija termino pagando lo que exigieron, pero esto no se va a quedar así, lo llevaré a las oficinas de control de restaurantes.

    We had to move our table because it was too wobbly. The omelette was very dry and didn’t have much boursin in it. The service was very slow. Not a great experience since we had been there a couple of times before and it was very good!

    Great experience, first time having brunch here. No valet for brunch like there is for dinner but luckily I found a spot in the back of the building. Had a nice semi private table so my friend and I could catch up. Service was great, friendly and accommodating. Food came out timely and was very good. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner.

    I was excited to try Dovecote as I heard a lot about it. I went for a work lunch with out of town colleagues. The entire experience was bad. The food was so/so- Apps were served without plates. We ordered truffle fries instead of the regular with our lunches, which includes an upcharge- no problem. However, the food was delivered with regular fries. We mentioned to the server, and she vaguely apologized and then stood there. She did not offer to bring out more, and she didn't even remove the upcharge on our bill. The server was unfortunately the worst part of it all. She splashed sweet tea on 2 of our purses, and just glanced down at the mistake with no apology. After our food was delivered, she came by one time. I asked for Ranch, and she scoffed at me because this "is a French restaurant" and we don't have it. I hear you, but you're a so/so restaurant in the lobby of an office building- not a 5 star French restaurant experience. She never once refilled our drinks. She walked by our table to check on others, and looked at me holding an empty glass but did absolutely nothing. I will definitely never return and I'm bummed that I recommended this placed to my coworkers. There are so many better places to eat in downtown Orlando.

    This was our first visit to DoveCote but it definitely won't be our last! We had a party of 12 and Tiffany handled us extremely well. Benefit of a large party was we ordered several different entrees ALL of which were amazing. Rabbit, catch of the day, lamb shank, ribs, steak. Everyone was very pleased and satisfied, all 12 of us!

    Went for the Valentines Menu. Worst food experience we have ever had. The steak has no flavor other than what I would say is a bitter taste. The potatoes were raw and had not been cooked nearly Enough as they still Had the raw taste. Once again no seasoning at all. We saw multiple Steaks going out then being returned. This was a very small menu so the meal should have been on point. The table that sat down next to Us was getting amazing service by the owner. When we overhead that we thought we would let him know And he needed to try what was coming off the line. We told him we were not looking for a refund as we know the cost of doing business. He was apologetic but did not even offer to buy our drinks or a round. My spouse went to bathroom and others were complaining about their food in there. Maybe a bad night for them but do not suggest unless they have a major kitchen change as if I was the owner who ever was leading the kitchen needs to be fired as you potentially just set your company up for a massive storm Of bad reviews

    We couldn’t have picked a better location for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The three-course fixed-price menu was a good value and had a range of options, plus we were able to pair our drink selections perfectly thanks to the extensive wine list and cocktail menu. Service was attentive and gracious, even with every table full. The ambiance was sophisticated but relaxed - perfect for a special occasion.

    Beautiful restaurant! The service was very well timed and relaxed. The DJ played all the best Valentine’s songs. We had the New York strip and crusted salmon and both were perfect. The oyster soup was so good. The waitress made great wine selection and we also topped the meal off with espresso martinis.

    Something was off this time. Almost looked like they were short staffed, but the service was good. The salmon was a little dry, but only mentioning because I've been here before and EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I think they just had an off day. I'd definitely go back.

    Brunch date. Disappointing service…very very slow and poor quality. Initial order for coffee took 30th d to arrive, wait staff forgot alcoholic beverage order. Food took a long time to arrive and was mediocre by Dovecote standards, hit but not greatest presentation. Disappointed as this was a date and I eat or dr k here at least once a week. 🙁

    Unfortunately, Dove Cote has become rather ordinary. Except with less than expected service. Lots of mistakes with our orders, and just lousy bloody mary.
