It’s the sister restaurant of the award-winning Cori Pastificio Trattoria @cori_pasta and Since opening, the restaurant has continued to earn several recognitions, most recently receiving Three Forks from Gambero Rosso—one of the highest honors from Italy’s leading food and wine authority. Led by Chef Accursio Lota, Dora’s coastal Italian menu draws inspiration from Southern Italy’s shoreline and California’s seasonal ingredients, featuring handmade pastas, fresh seafood, wood-fired pizzas, and house-made gelato! Everything we get there is delicious and the service is impeccable! Its one of those restaurants where you could go back every week and never get bored of. Start with small tapas style apps and then try some of their amazing handmade pastas or fresh made to order entrees and dont forget the delicious desserts. You can also chose to end your meal with their Amaro Cart experience! Have you been to Dora yet⁉️

✨This is San Diego’s newest Sicilian-inspired Italian gem 🥹- @doraristorante , right at the heart of La Jolla🫶🏻. ✨The newest creation by Chef Accursio Lota, the moment you step inside you’re instantly wrapped in the warmest glow 🥹 dreamy interiors, an open kitchen, and a stunning central bar that sets the tone 🍸. 🍝The Mediterranean-coastal menu is absolutely delicious. Handmade pastas, beautiful fish dishes, and everything crafted with so much attention to detail. 🐙We started with the Arancini and the Polipo alla Griglia (some of the best octopus in town). The Spiny Lobster Tonnarelli is a must-order 🦞🥹, the freshly made Ravioli were perfection, and the Pollo alla Griglia truly surprised us, it was the juiciest chicken we’ve had in a long time. 🫶🏻With Valentine’s Day coming up, this is perfect for a romantic date night, but also just as good for a girls’ night out with drinks at the bar.
