Since opening New York’s first hand roll bar in 2015, DOMODOMO has become known for handrolls, sushi, and modern interpretations of traditional Asian dishes.     Apparently weekday lunch menu is nothing at all like the weekend menu. Wkend serves the dinner menu all day. We came for lunch on a Monday not knowing that. Different cook, very limited menu. Food wasn't worth coming back for. From the wafu steak with the butter that didn't melt on top it also comes with random vegetables under it to the sweet potato dessert that we could only eat half worth bc most was too hard against the skin. I left hungry.

    Their menu changed since the last time I came here and it seemed smaller. I was very disappointed they no longer serve the shrimp tempura. This time I ordered the hwe dup bap (sashimi rice bowl) which is a Korean style chirashi. It was a large portion and was very delicious. Let them know if you don’t like it spicy and they will not put the peppers in your dish. The sauce had a little kick to it so also be careful. The seasonal fish was salmon and ahi and there was lots of fish! I would order this again. My girlfriend had the bulgogi don which she said was good. But she kept eyeing my hwe dup bap and said it looked really good and she would get that next time she came with her husband. We shared the fried corn rib which thankfully was still on the menu and delicious as I remembered from the last time I had it. Service was excellent and very attentive. Quiet with beautiful views on both sides of the restaurant (beach on one side and the golf course and mountains on the other). I wish they had more on their menu but I would still go back again. 😊

    Food was good. A couple items particularly the nachos and lechon would not recommend. I wish the Brûlée sweet potato was warm. Definitely not what I expected and could be skipped. Service impeccable with the staff making recommendations. Plenty of parking.

    Wafu steak is our go to. But I was impressed by the miso salmon. The chili garlic on there was delicious!

    The food overall was well - balanced The spicy tuna roll and cod were delicious and seafood udon was nice because wasn’t too salty . The octopus was perfectly cooked tender and not chewy at all The only slight disappointment was the cucumber salad as the dressing wasn’t spread evenly
