Food and server were good. The people at the entry were not very friendly. Were greeted almost rudely with reservations. However our server and the food were good. Much better atmosphere at Ft Worth location

I loved this restaurant! Super fresh and so many great options. The California salad was light and refreshing! My friend ordered the Filet Wedge and enjoyed it. Drinks were on point and had a great seat near the window. They do validate parking which is a must in Uptown! Great recommendations and the staff was attentive.

New favorite restaurant. We had the Wok out Bowl with Ahi Tuna, spicy Thai sauce and quinoa. Unbelievably delicious! Also had the crabmeat tower with avocado which was delicious as well as the California salad with tuna. Two of us split these dishes. They were very generous in the split. More food than we could eat but we wanted to sample them and now we have leftovers to look forward to tomorrow for lunch. Spencer, our server was young, cute, and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed his attention. Chef Brandon surprised us with a luscious birthday dessert, the double chocolate cake that was moist and rich with a wonderful jar of cold milk. Great touch. The decor was so fun with three giant colorful pictures, a mixture of AmericanaTexas , over the gorgeous bar. Really great night! Thank you, Spencer and Brandon. Looking forward to the new happy hour from 4:00-6:00 Monday’s through Fridays with $5 wine specials as well as five small plates for $9:00. We’re sold on Doc B’s. Healthy and delicious!

We were excited to try this restaurant concept but it fell short of our expectations. We had the fish sandwich and lobster roll and both were just ok.

Greeters gave us a warm welcome and promptly showed us to the booth. Service was excellent and the food was even better. Jumbo lump crap stack was a phenomenal start to a memorable evening. California salad and trout special were both delightful. Will definitely be back!

Service was great. Carnitas sandwich and burger were great. Fried chicken was tasty but mostly bread. Lobster roll was not good either - you could not even taste the lobster since the slaw, mustard, and nuts were overpowering the whole thing.

We did not realize that we came 30 minutes prior to closing (it would have been nice to be reminded). Food was rushed...hubby pork chop was a little tough and my noodles were little undercooked. The sides selection was VERY limited. I will try again during the day with my friends.

The need a solution to blinding sun in the brunch hours. Also, the kitchen needs to get over itself and add some standard omelet options (like a cheese and meat omelet for goodness sake) instead of a single overwrought chef’s choice. Doc B’s is so close to being the perfect spot. But still not there.

Overall, I enjoyed Doc B’s. However, I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries. It was the plainest presentation and the chicken sandwich was smaller than what most fast food restaurants serve. I have had much better looking food for less. The food itself did taste great. However, I expected more and an attractive showing. Thanks.

I can’t remember our server’s name, but he was friendly, brown hair, and served us at the two-top booth at 1:30pm on 12/10/18. Maybe Leo? He was charismatic, patient, and professional. I’d like to know his name so I can request him next time.

This was our first visit to Doc B’s; but it won’t be the last. We were looking for something different, fresh and interesting for my husband’s birthday. Based on prior reviews we chose Doc B’s. Everything we had was wonderful. The crab stack appetizer was so inventive and tasty... the barbecue ribs were fall-off-the bone delicious and tender... and the cinnamon crunch cheesecake we shared for dessert was incredibly flavorful and creamy. We received excellent service from our waitress, including warm towels (instead of wipes) after the ribs. It could not be better!

The food here is pretty good. The service however is poor. I have been here 2 times and both times with slow or poor service. This time we also had delayed service between courses and cold food which we sent back. Our first server was obviously miserable with her job. She never smiled, no name and threw the drinks on our table. That was the last we saw of her. Later a new server arrived to take our dinner orders. Andrew was excellent and definitely redeemed the restaurant in the service department. The next mishap was delayed dinner service and cold food, which we sent back. The manager came to our table and profusely apologized and did not charge us for the cold entree.
The food overall is good and fairly priced. And the service provided by Andrew was excellent. Because of this we will return and we will request Andrew.

We enjoyed our first time at Doc B’s restaurant. The food and ambiance was quality. Doc B’s is located in the nice part of Dallas and made for a great pregame dinner before a Mavs game. The staff were all friendly.

I was so pleased with my birthday dinner at Doc B's. It was our first time visiting any of their locations, though we have walked past the Ft. Worth one several times. The Dallas spot is perfect, right in the center of the greatest restaurants and hotels in DFW. I am grateful this was the restaurant we chose to eat at before the Mavs game, it was the perfect distance from the arena and they were able to have my favorite rosé ready on the table for us. Not to mention that everyone was BEYOND nice. The staff was exceptionally attentive and the food was exquisite. I planned to get the burger after reading about it online, but our waiter talked me into the swordfish with his own stellar recommendation--and that was my first time ever eating swordfish! This place is a MUST GO--definitely the Dallas location if possible, but if they are all even half as wonderful as that place was, do yourself a favor and go.... now!
