Di Mauro's is a locals favorite, known for its authentic homemade Italian dishes in a lively, vibrant and casual atmosphere. In the year 2001, Chef Patron Mauro L. came to Miami Beach from Padova, Northern Italy, carrying knowledge of Italian cuisine, having worked for years in upscale restaurants in Italy and London, and opening an Italian restaurant for others. One day Mauro L. while passing by the corner of 15th St. & Washington Ave. in Miami Beach, realized his opportunity to open his own Cafe/Restaurant and he named it Caffe Di Mauro. For more than ten years, he has been successfully running his business where the key ingredients are: Quality, Quantity, and his Italian Personality.

Di Mauro's was a fantastic option when visiting the Miami Beach Area, especially for a family seeking a great dinner at a great price. We have visited the Lowes in Miami numerous times and never visited this great local restaurant, our mistake. Our waiter was simply fantastic, and our dinner was definitely very good. Drinks were made well, appetizers were excellent (the shrimp-calamari app was terrific), main courses were very good, and the fresh tiramisu made table side was simply outstanding. We will be back!

Wine was great! Had a seafood dish woth Lobster & pasta. Could not chew the lobster and the pasta was meidocure. Mentioned teh lobster to teh server and got 30% off a %60 dish and a free shot of lemoncellia. HooRay!

Worst service ever at a business dinner. Everything from drinks to appetizers to salad and dinner were screwed up. Food was cold; some people waiting on dressing for salad while others were served their meals. Waiter was overwhelmed and couldn’t speak/understand English well enough to take our orders.

our server was nice, however forgot to put in our app order, nor did he provide us with the bread & oil all other tables received upon ordering. when I asked for some (after being there 40 minutes with no food, including the app we ordered), he gave us two pieces of bread with butter, then charged us $13 for it. Our meals were good (not great), and the music playing was the same song over and over again, until we mentioned it to another server, which is when they changed it. not an awful experience, but definitely not worth the price.

I liked this restaurant and recommended it to my colleagues and friends. We have been there before in large groups, but unfortunately I will not recommend it any more. I ordered GF pasta , spaghetti as suggested in the menu, and the server told me that they didn’t have spaghetti only penne. Okay, I ordered GF penne with truffle sauce and the pasta was over cooked (GF pasta tends to take longer than traditional pasta to cook, it means that they left the pasta boiling in water for more than 15 minutes) It looked like a soup instead of pasta because the sauce was so watery that the pasta was floating. I returned my meal because it was impossible to eat. They didn’t suggested to modify other meals from the menu for me. I have not eaten anything during the time I was there. I don’t recommend this restaurant if you have food limitations or allergies because they don’t take care about it. Not returning.

My fiance and I had dinner here one evening and it was absolutely delicious! You could taste a homemade freshness and all the spices and herbs. It was the best Itallian food we have ever had. Highly recommended!! The servers and helpful and courteous.

Our server, Danielle, was awesome…super friendly, very attentive, and gave great recommendations. The food was incredible - best fresh pasta we’ve ever had! All of the dishes that went past our table looked good too. Also loved the atmosphere.

We had such a wonderful dinner. We were fortunate enough to have Danielle for our server. She was great and provided wonderful recommendations. My husband thought the Chicken Parm was some of the best. The gnocchi melted in your mouth. Everyone from the owner and all the staff provided us an amazing night
