The bread we ordered was the best part of the meal. One of us ordered the lobster which wasn't very good. The side dishes of carrots and rice were excellent. The other person ordered the ribeye steak. Again the side dishes of potato chips and tomatoes were excellent. The 12 oz ribeye came in too thin pieces of steak that didn't look anything like a ribeye. The hostess in the servers were all very pleasant. We probably won't go back.

Great ambience. Very quiet. The service was good. The food (dinner) was fine. I think we went in with overly hyped expectations. Menu was off the beaten path which was a welcome start but flavor fell short for us, especially relative to the prices. The deviled egg appetizer was very good, though the artichoke was meh. Chile verde was greasy but tasted fresh. The burger was done perfectly and had candied bacon as a topper which was good and a table-side bananas foster was fun and the best part of dinner. Everything was…fine/good but nothing stood out either way to us. Truly middle of the road as far as returning, not opposed but not making any immediate plans either.

We reserved the patio seating in a globe, for my moms 75th bday! It’s a cute idea, very private and quiet. However, inside the globe smelled weird, the table and chairs are cheap and uncomfortable. It was cold, as well. The heater they had didn’t do much and one of blankets we had to use to block the sun out of our eyes. I definitely expected a nicer experience, especially paying a $400 tab! Next time, we will try the gondola seating, that looked much nicer and you can actually see out through the windows. The globe is such a neat and different concept. Do something about the smell and make the seating more comfortable. Dinner and dessert was excellent as usual!

This is my second time eating at Devil's Kitchen and staying at Hotel Maverick. This is now our go to place to eat and stay. It was amazing food as always! And the wait staff was so nice and attentive to my disabled daughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

As always, the event, the food, the service were all amazing. Trail Life brewery was a great pairing with the meal and super informative. New head chef Elise was also amazing. Thank you Devil's Kitchen for these Sinful 3 events!

Devil's Kitchen is one of our favorite places to eat/drink in Grand Junction. We love the fact that it is student run. Our only disappointment this trip was the seared duck. It was not cooked until the fat was crispy, so that was a disappointment. The duck itself was quite tasty once the fat was cut off. It also had way too much broth and made the dish almost a soup. The other dishes were great (steak, Bison tamale stack, and jambalaya) and our service was awesome!!

We started with the bison & shrimp app and hop & beet salad, both delicious. I had the jambalaya with tiger prawns and my partner had the lobster & waffles, both were very enjoyable. We had a lovely birthday celebration at Devil’s Kitchen and will return.

The staff and service was amazing! We reserved an igloo, which provided a nice atmosphere to talk and enjoy the surroundings. The food was good, but overpriced. $15.00 for shrimp add on with the ghnocci and only 2 shrimp. Not worth it Presentation was good and wine list had great selections. Would still go back! Well done overall

Our dinner at the Devil's Kitchen was excellent. The wait staff is outstanding- the staff is always personable and attentive. I love that it is run by students. The food is always excellent and not your standard fare. My husband is GF and he said his meal, the bison tamale, was excellent. The food presentation is always worth appreciating. I happened to eat brunch the next day at the Devil's Kitchen for a friend's birthday. Brunch and the mimosas were outstanding. The wait staff acknowledged the birthday and provided a free desert.

Our reservation was at 6:45PM Which in the restaurant world is a fairly busy time. However we were seated quickly and at a comfortable table. The staff was attentive but did not hover over our party which was a very welcome thing. Our servers were kind, and upbeat, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was divine. I personally had the flank steak and it was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Honestly, our entrees were just okay. I thought the food quality would be better esp. after the basic sour dough bread and butter was delicious. My “refresher “ cocktail was wonderful. The jambalaya (ordered by both my husband and daughter) was very over spiced and not that great. I had the beef tamale - it was good. I wish there were more dessert options … none appealed. Overall, service was good, ambience nice but a bit loud - I would come here again as so convenient - we stayed at the hotel, which exceeded our expectations . It was modern, comfortable and well kept. We had a dog friendly room - many things were “well used” or stained, but this did not deter from our experience. We were very comfortable and would happily stay here again w/ our dog when visiting our daughter at college.

The only feedback I would give the waiter would be to bring more water. We had our drinks and the water and when we had dessert we were so thirsty after. Other than that it was amazing and my husbands new favorite place in town.

We had the best time at Devil’s Kitchen and brought new friends to check out the restaurant. They loved it! We had Whit as our server and she was fantastic! So fun and explained the specials so well that most of the table ordered it. We always enjoy our time and the food and drinks are always top notch!

Our server was extremely nice and polite. She kept water on our table. The food was really good and although a little expensive it was high quality and a fair quantity. We had the lobster and waffles and the cheeseburger. Both were quite tasty.
