Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York City
Absolutely fabulous. The food and service was amazing. We also had our 4 year old child with us and the restaurant was so accommodating on table choice as he’d fallen asleep in his pram. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Mallory was an amazing waitress,we definitely recommend this place to anyone !
Our waiter Gerard was awesome! He has serious knowledge on wine. One of the best dining experiences in awhile.
We, a party of 6 were there for the b-day dinner, every thing was great. Our server was very handsome, looked like Ryan Reynolds, he recommended us perfect appetizer, sides and stake combination for us. He's funny, his service was impeccable. Food is good too, we chose Del Frisco because this place is not just for steaks, crab cake is must to order, seafood is fresh, side dishes are more creative than other steak restaurants. Then the sommelier, he was amazing, we started with champagne, then white with appetizer and some reds with steaks, every single bottle he chose was superb. We trusted him so much, didn't have to see the wine list to keep ordering. We ended up to finished 6 bottles all together and stayed until midnight, means "the perfect b-dinner". We had a wonderful time! Thank you for the comp desserts and a beautiful card on the table, very thoughtful! Thank you so much!
Service was excellent and attentive. Food was also very good but not above average for price. We would go again and would recommend. The wedge salad was superb.
Stopped in for lunch. Excellent food and service as usual!
Great experience from beginning to end
I can say nothing more than our meal and service was outstanding from start to finish. 10/10 without a doubt!
Great food. Great service. The manager Chad was very welcoming and it was very nice meeting him.
Friendliest waiter was also super efficient. Loved the waygu steak. So tender and filling. Chateau mashed potatoes were delicious. A few in our party had the fish of the day and loved it. Lupe de mer fish. Shared a hazelnut chocolate bar for dessert. It was incredible.
Thank you for making our celebration special.
Place was nice. Food taste could have been much better
Caesar salad tasted like mayo. No garlic. New York steak was too fatty. Not impressed.
Great food excellent service. Highly recommended.
It was amazing. Food was really good. Waiters were extremely friendly. Would definitely come back.
It was AMAZING LOVED IT GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD. The steak was made beautifully best steak i ever had in my life
I have been to DF's many times and have to say by far this is one of the best steakhouses in NYC which of course means a lot!
5 star service. My prime strip was cooked perfectly!
Love the Wednesday birthday celebration for 4 ladies. We were treated with royalty. Enjoyed our waiter and our food was soooo good. We always have lunch durning restaurant week. Going back soon. Each time we go it's always a great time
What a great steak house. The steak was awesome!
Also, this interior of the restaurant had a great build-out. The staircase must have cost several hundred thousand to build.
Our server Gene was the best! Very knowledgeable and spot on with every recommendation. Definitely plan to go back.
Yes I did already, I’ll be back myself. "I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable
Took my daughter prior to broadway show. Our steaks were amazing. I had the bone in ribeye, best steak I’ve ever had. Our server (Liz) was also amazing. Great personality. Great service. Helped us w subway use. She also treated my daughter (12) like an adult and was both extremely friendly and professional. Definitely going back next time I’m in manhattan.
We had a wonderful time. The food was great especially the Lemon Cake my favorite.
The services was above and beyond. They did not rush us out so we had a great experience.
It was a great place to celebrate my birthday! The food, ambience and staff were amazing!!
Amazing service, our water glass was never empty!! Great food quality for the price. Server was attentive and very kind. Was offered 2 delicious free desserts for a small mistake. More than amazing dining experience, looking forward to returning. Move over STK we found a new favorite!
Excellent place and the people working there were A class...keep it up!!
Our waitress was exceptional! She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The food was phenomenal.
Our server was outstanding! Knowledge was outstanding!
Truly enjoyed myself there. Our waitress was excellent . Jenna was a pleasure and very knowledgeable . Food was excellent . Service was great
As always the food at Del Frisco's is amazing. The bacon is a must have. We had a Chilean Sea Bass and t eon the bone Rib Eye which was accompanied, thanks to the waitress recommendation, with an Alaskan King Crab Leg truffle sauce which was amazing. Lobster mac and cheese is always on point and finally their strawberry cheesecake !!!!
The Filet Mignon was dry and it did not come with any sauce. The mash potatoes contained too many scallions and it had no taste. The onion rings were nasty and too big. The service was good but overall being there for the first time I did not like it and I will not be going back and I would not recommend it to a friend.
The service was epic. Our waitress developed a wonderful relationship with everyone at our table and the timing of food was perfect. The food was delicious, the wine was fairly priced. For New York City I felt everything was a fair value. The ambiance was quite good albeit a bit loud. All things considered, I would highly recommend Del Frisco and I would certainly return for a future meal!
Del Frisco Double Eagle is the quintessential Manhattan steak house. Incredible cuts, beautiful locale and an unreal wine list make this the best place in NYC for an amazing meal. Certainly not inexpensive but definitely worth it for those special occasions or when you just want the NYC experience. 5 starts all the way.
We were seated by a passthrough area to another room. Servers and patrons had to turn sideways to get into the next room, sometimes bumping into my husband (picture included). Our server was inattentive and when my husband ordered a medium rare steak she kept asking what that meant and asked to describe what the steak would look like. Then she disappeared. Another server from another area noticed we were out of water and went out of her way to accommodate us. We finally had to ask her to find our waitress because we hadn't been served in 40 minutes. The steak came out medium well. Our server finally showed up after the food was served (she didn't serve it) and proceeded to dish out the side item onto our plates without asking first. I told her to stop. The manager came over to see how we were doing and we were frank with him about the doorway and our server. We didn't mention the steak because we had waited too long to eat and at that point made up our minds about the restaurant. I had ordered the steak medallions which were quite good. In the end the manager made it up to us but I don't think I would return. There are too many other restaurants in NYC to go back.
We ate there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday before we went to see Mean Girls on Broadway. The food was truly outstanding and the service was excellent! Try the cheesecake and the crab cakes. Both are some of the best I’ve ever had.
Friendly staff, nice location with comfortable tables.
Food price is quite high and definitely not worth its value, but is similar with the same kind of restaurants in NYC.
Generally the plates were looking poor, with minimum decoration.
Shrimps were not tasty at all.
Steak was good and well cooked, but for $50+ per plate I was expecting something better. I have tasted the same with around $20 elsewhere.
The restaurant is always great! Whenever we take guests there they really enjoy the experience. We have taken our grandchildren there before or in first year of college as a celebration.it is great food and something for everyone on the menu.
Beef carpaccio was superb, the filet was perfectly cooked and the wedge salad was classic & fresh. The service by Peter was stellar!
I’ve been missing out on wagyu my whole life , it was worth every dollar . Service was great as had been with all the del Frisco’s .
