Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York City
Hats off to Justin who was beyond excellent when it comes to service, humor, expertise!
Late reservations no problem getting, but should not be rushed. Appetizer out in 3 minutes and dinner followed in 7 minutes, wrong temperature on steak. Did not mind spending top dollar but was not worth it . Waitress was at end of shift could not be bothered ,felt rushed start to finish
Amazing food and service. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and had great suggestions.
Great all around service and food. Highly recommend to all! Great location as well
Del Friscos has the best steak hands down!!! I love their crab cakes.
This had to be the best meal I have had at a restaurant. I have paid more for a meal before but I have not had a better meal then this.
We had bone in ribeye and lobster tail. Lobster tail lacked flavor. Ribeye was ok, nothing special
Amazing food atmosphere
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB THE BEST EXPERIENCE FOOD, SERVICE, DRINKS & ATMOSPHERE. I WAS SO PLEASED AND THANKFUL MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW RECOMMENDED THIS RESTAURANT THEY GO ALL THE TIME! A MUST IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AN ABSOLUTE GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely amazing experience. Delicious dinner, excellent service right from the door. Our server Chris was very attentive and on point with timing apps and dinner.
Maitre D Chad was very professional and stepped in to help serve. Highly recommend the crabcake, filet and Del's potato paired with the VIP martinee. Will definitely be back!
Great food, exceptional service, our waiter Robert, made the night a memorable one.
The restaurant is lovely. The food was very good as was the service. It’s on the formal side but we expected that. Good location.
Business lunch meal was a great value. Lobster bisque is one of the best in the city, where they actually use real lobster chunks. Consistently of the broth was just perfect. Filet Medallions was cooked just right, the glass Pinot noir was a great combination
Great ambiance, great food. There was a few large parties that added to the noise level. Overall a great place to celebrate a birthday.
Our waiter was unbelievable and the food was incredible.
The food was amazing and my waiter was even more amazing. It was a very busy night and we still received our food very quick! Not to mention they gave my husband a free slice of cake for his birthday. A+ service!
I've been here before, but this experience was not that good. The food was mediocre except for the Alaskan king crab legs. The filet mignon was kind of fatty and it was barely seasoned. Overall the steak was not very good. The service was okay and as always it was quite noisy. I'm not sure I'll be back here for a while.
Celebrating an anniversary. A bit too loud for this celebration. Porterhouse was well prepared as were the mushrooms. Buratta and tomato starter was very good. Complimentary cake was a generous extra. My wife has been wanting to visit after hearing great things. She was not disappointed.
Food was warm not hot. Booth seating was too crowded. Service was excellent
The food was ok, comparable to Outback Steakhouse. Definitely not worth the price.
Great service. Very mindful of our showtime.
Wonderful, pre-Broadway show dinner!
This is a great restaurant in the heart of Manhattan. The food was great. The service was great. Everything was first class!
The food was terrible for $55, I could’ve gotten and cooked my prime ribeye much much better than what I was served. I never complain unless it’s called for. I would not go here again.
Too expensive for literally nothing, 3 hundred dollar bill for absolutely a hand full of food
Loved the restaurant. The food was amazing and they have amazing wait staff. I had read that the restaurant was very kid friendly so was surprised when I got there and they didn’t have a kids specific menu, however I was quickly put at ease when they made the regular menu so accessible for kids. My three littles, 5, 3, and 1 all shared plain butter noodles (which were oddly delicious) and the chicken plate.
The food runner even cut up the plate of food and divvied it up onto three different plates at our table. It was amazing not having to cut up my kids food.
The sauces were amazing. They had my steak bernnaise (spelling?) sauce and the kids chicken sauce on the side and I couldn’t decide which I loved back.
The noise level is at the perfect level of loud. Loud enough to muffle my kids constant whining, moaning and yelling but not so loud that we couldn’t carry out normal conversation. All around, would go there again in a heart beat.
Location and atmosphere coupled with outstanding service and great food make for an unforgetable experience
Excellent food and service! A nice way to end the day in New York City! We will be back in September!
Food was amazing. Our server went above and beyond made for an even more wonderful experience
It’s pricey but worth it!
My client enjoyed her Prime Rib as much as I enjoyed my Filet of Beef. However the star of our meal was the Butter Cake - we decided to share a piece and wished we had ordered our own. We basically fought over the last morsel!
Food and drinks was great! Only down part was they couldn’t accommodate my girlfriend as far as removing the mushrooms for there chicken dish so she had to settle for a salad besides that everything was perfect
We waited 15 min for our seat. We had a reservation. Several (same size) parties came in after us and were seated before us.
Waiter was very nice. Water was not kept filled. Food was good.
Overall, we hoped for/expected better.
Out waiter Brian was outstanding, Brian made our dining experience perfect. Rob Eye Steak on the bone 22 oz was cooked just right and made my night. Waiter Brian went out of his way to ensure our dining needs were met and exceeded from friendly conversation to expertise of menu selection. I will return again with friends and family.
The service made several mistakes at my last visit that, in the aggregate, were just unacceptable: We had to wait 15 minutes at the entrance, not at the bar, to be seated. Half the table had no butter knifes and it took 2 times asking to get them. Half the table received an outdated menu. Waiters tried to serves us the wrong food several times. The wine was the wrong year, 3 years off. My steak was served medium well instead of medium rare (the chef himself brought out the replacement, which was to the point). For the management: our actual waitress did a good job, just everyone else failed to live up to the expected standard.
Large steakhouse conveniently located close to the theaters. Excellent beef and all the sides. Expensive. Busy, bustling restaurant. Expensive, but very good quality.
Excellent Serivce from start to finish. It was our 9th year anniversary and they made us feel really special. Waiter was on point.
