    We both started off w the Spinach salad. A little over dressed but we were hungry!.I ordered the 8oz Filet Mignon med done & it did not disappoint. My baked potato was twice its size & filled me up! My husband had the NY strip. It was good but mine was tastier! Coconut ice cream w chocolate & almonds for dessert. Our waiter was outstanding & made it a delightful evening!

    First time to Daniel's on Lake Union. Lovely site, quiet and elegant ambiance. Highly recommend this location especially, it never felt rushed or chaotic. We were there for Thanksgiving, not the best day to review. I took off a star because I really like my food hot - it was safe, for sure, but not piping hot. I've learned just due to volume, it's almost impossible on a holiday meal to get that perk. It was overall a nice prix fixe meal, reasonably priced and completely on par for Daniel's. We appreciated the attentive service, attention to detail on the meals and interesting choices for both our meat-loving and vegetarian family. We were not rushed even for a holiday meal, which was very nice. Dessert was wonderful and in line with the best Thanksgiving offerings. I recommend Daniel's for a fine dining experience and a good choice for a holiday meal. Thank you to Daniel's for taking care of the cooking, serving and cleaning this year - I really needed the break from hosting Thanksgiving.

    From the time we arrived to the time we left - Daniel's Broiler was on POINT! The Food was exceptional - good quantity & quality. Our Server, Jeannette, is a STAR. She genuinely loves her job and her Employer - it clearly shows! She was attentive, knowledgeable & a Pure Delight. She is a perfect Face for your Brand! We will be returning annually for this Thanksgiving Delight. Stay Fabulous!

    Excellent food and service. Very expensive! We would return for a special occasion. The 20% service charge is interesting. I hope it truly goes to paying all employees a liveable wage. We did not leave an additional tip. I suggest changing the wording on your receipt to, “An additional tip is not expected OR ACCEPTED.”

    Our Thanksgiving meal was amazing. I had the turkey which was so moist and flavourful. My husband and daughter each had the pork roast. While it was a bit tough the flavor was outstanding. We each had so much food it allowed for “leftovers” for everyone. And no dishes! What could be better?

    Our waiter Brad was the best! His attitude and smile were priceless. We sat near the window, nice view but a tad chilly. Very comfortable atmosphere, though padding on seat was a bit worn and not as supportive as it could have been. Overall it was a Wonderful experience for our birthday celebrations!!

    Atmosphere and service is excellent! Food quality is so so for the steak ( too much tendon Thant made it difficult to cut )! Lamb and chicken was good .

    Service was good. We were seated next to a large table and when the group came in, they were very noisy. We asked to move and they were very accommodating. However, then we didn’t have much of a view. The food was fine, but for the price, it should have been exceptional.

    Meal: 4 cocktails, 1 appetizer, 1 soup, 1 salad, one Bone in Ribeye Cost: $350 including tax and gratuity (20% included regardless of party size or service provided) Highlights: We had the restaurant to ourselves, maybe 5 other customers on a Monday evening at 7:30PM. The food tasted well enough, specifically the Scallops and Lobster Bisque were hits. Misses: Our server didn’t meet the bar. Drink orders were placed at the beginning of the meal, but the server had to be reminded 25 min into meal about the drinks and we found out she didn’t put the order in. Next, we split an entree, and there was a $40 fee associated with that, but it was never communicated by the waitress. We often had water glasses empty and on two occasions had to find our server. For a restaurant with < 5 active tables, it seemed a bit off.

    Daniel's @ Lake Union Ordered 3 appetizers, delicious and perfect. Would definitely come back for these again. Ordered a 3 steak flight of filet mignon, 130.00, ordered medium+ cook, all steaks were very rare and cool/cold in the middle. Now every table every time the server has you cut open the streak in front of them and they use a flashlight so you can check doneness. We had 3 steaks so we only checked one. Upon first cut/look appeared to be definitely under cooked but not that bad. Not enough to say anything and we thought a little undercooked no big deal. We tried to enjoy the steaks but ultimately they were all very very rare and off putting, definitely not over medium cooked as requested. On some level we probably should have said something which can be awkward and on another level we would expect a fine dining steak establishment to be able to cook the steaks as requested. We did bring the steak home and cook it more to enjoy it. We took some photos of it in the pan at home. We also didn't really care for the mashed potatos and would probably go for the baked potato if we come back. Total dinner cost $270, 3 apps and a steak flight to share. Cost was fine but had higher expectations. Started off extremely satisfied then extremely underwhelmed.

    1st time visit for a birthday celebration. Our server Jose was hands down fantastic. The food was some of the best we ever had - the creamed corn was a surprising standout. We left full & happy.

    Fantastic Experience! We were celebrating double birthdays & we had a fantastic time! All the food was fantastic, from the seared tuna to the bacon-wrapped scallops, to the filet mignon--Even the ice cream with fudge sauce & roasted coconut was amazing! Our waiter was very attentive, and nice without being obtrusive, and made sure we were taken care of during our entire 2 1/2 hour experience. What can I say? We had some catching up to do!

    This is an upscale steak house, and the prices reflect that. So, be aware. That said, the prices match the quality: excellent all around. The atmosphere is definitely catered toward dressing up, which my sons and I did, even if many of the patrons are wearing very casual attire. The staff is attentive and prompt, and the views looking north across Lake Union toward Gas Works Park are stellar, especially at sunset.

    The server was great, the food not so much. My $95 steak was overcooked and chewy. The Brussels sprouts were sweet (they may have used chili jam, I’m not sure). The baked potato was good (it’s hard to screw up a baked potato). My wife’s salmon was cooked well but she wasn’t crazy about the flavor.

    I made a reservation about a month ahead for an outside table. When we arrived, the table assigned to us was right in the sun, at the bottom of the stairs with a view of a construction site. When we asked for a table for 4, out of the sun, the hostess said she needed to keep those open for 4 guests. We were eventually moved to a table for 2 out of the sun - this time at the bottom of a ramp, but better than the first one. Meanwhile, two separate couples were seated later at the tables we asked to be moved to. Our dinner cost over $400 for two! I wish I'd gone elsewhere.
