Die Tradition der einzigartigen Schankwirtschaft reicht zurück bis ins Jahr 1803. Hier begründete einst der alte Sachsenhäuser Apfelwein-Adel seinen guten Ruf, den wir -ohne die Tradition zu vergessen- durch unsere zeitgemäße Interpretation der „Frankfurter-Apfelwein-Wirtschaft“ wieder aufleben lassen. Gäste sollen sich wie gute Freunde bei uns ,,wie daheim" fühlen und in den Genuss unserer hessischen Küche kommen. Diese besticht nicht durch ihre Masse, sondern durch die Liebe zum Detail der herrlich-herzhaften, fast heiteren Häppchen. Das Fundament des,,Lorsbacher Thals" ist ebenso das Fundament unserer Apfel-Ambitionen; in riesigen Gewölben mit historischen Holzfässern und modernen Tanks gären, reifen und lagern unsere selbstgekelterten Hausschoppen, sowie viele Raritäten aus der ganzen Welt. Es lockt die größte Apfelweinkarte der Welt mit über 250 Positionen zur ausgiebigen „Appelweinprobe“!

    We had dinner at this restaurant two weeks prior and it was so good that we came back again before our final journey back to the US. I highly recommend to anyone seeking good authentic German cuisine.

    The veal schnitzel was the best I ever had. I literally can’t stop thinking about it. I might have to go back one more time before we leave.

    Hello, what a shame !! Booking done for 8pm today, table outside access 5 mn after. Then ... Waiting 15 mns for the menu, Then Waiting 15 mns for ordering (aperitizers + main courses). No more hamprumsteak, the first choice of the menu.. Only drinks served after 10 mns, and then ... nothing. Order of around 200 euros and we leaved at 9.05 PM after 1 hour without eating which is the main purpose. That is really unprofessional to book reservation and manage customers like this. We come from france in family and were so happy to eat in this place. Ambiance is cool and courses seems really good, but unable to test it. Thank you so much for this incredible moment. Good luck to all the next customers !!!
