   My boyfriend and I had appetizers before a concert at the Peoria Civic Center. We chose the Buffalo cauliflower, nachos, and crab cakes. The food was very good, although the food took a while. Our server was very apologetic about the food delay and attentive. We did enjoy the food and would come back here.

   We were the only table in the restaurant and the service was terrible. Our drinks came after we finished our appetizers. We were told the bar was very busy although there were only 4 people sitting there. The server was nice however he did not take care of us in a timely manner and told us he had a big party he was attending to. The food was disgusting. Cheeseburger looked green, filet’s were raw, brussel sprouts were old and black on the Mac and cheese skillet. Our waiter screwed up on side items we ordered and did not think he was at fault. No toilet paper in the ladies room. The manager said she was short staffed and that was it. Please do not go there. Our graduation dinner was a complete let down.

   We had a reservation through open table but staff was not aware. We had even called to add another to the party the day before and still no one was aware of a party of 10 coming in. Food was mediocre at best. Fries were hard like the fryer oil needed changed. Nothing special about the food.

   It was a quiet Easter lunch, but our server was very friendly, and made a great recommendation on the brisket biscuit. All the food and drink was good. We started with the Nachos... The toppings are a bit hidden so that could be improved but it was good. Two at the table had macs they enjoyed (Crab and 309).

   This was our first time coming, and walking in the atmosphere and restaurant was beautiful. The host wasn't overly friendly, but did work efficiently to seat our larger party of people. Our waiter was extremely friendly and kind, but did not seem like he had a clue what he was doing, forgot a large of items that were asked for or ordered, and over charged our bill at the end of our dining. We weren't rude nor took the time to ask for corrections because at that point we were less than impressed and just wanted to get out of the restaurant. The menu selections were sub par and didn't seem to have a lot of variety in choices.

   Our service was a bit slow. The bartender was trying to do the bar and take care of us so I can understand how our service was slow. My wife asked for the drink menu and never received it. The menu looked great so my wife and I were excited. I ordered the steak and frites. I also tried to substitute my fries with the garlic parmesan cast iron fries and was told no because they were their own thing. When I received my order the steak was over cooked and didn't have the chimichurri. I also only had a butter knife to try and cut the steak. I ended p having to grab another waitress to tell her that I didn't have a knife to cut my steak and there was no chimichurri. The chimichurri, although cold, tasted delicious. The fries tasted good but were soggy. When I saw the cast iron fries they were also the same. Seasoned well but soggy. The cast iron fries were no different than the regular fries just had the garlic parmesan seasoning on them. You could tell that the cast iron fries were not cooked in that cast iron. My wife ordered a French onion soup that came with the meal and not before hand. Her soup had a whole bay leaf in it. I tasted it as well and thought the flavor was ok. My wife ordered the 10oz filet (medium rare) with fingerling potatoes. Her steak was undercooked pushing rare. You could see the white streaks of uncooked fat rubbing through the steak. The filet was still edible but it was definitely pushing to rare. It had great flavor and was really tender as to where the flat iron steak I ordered was overcooked and a bit tough. Her potatoes had a whole clove of raw garlic in it which would have been rough of she would have eaten it. Would I ever done here again? Maybe, they need to fix some things to improve there overall experience. There are far better places at this price point on the surrounding area. This place has the potential to really deliver but they are making costly mistakes which I have listed in this review.

   We didn’t even get a chance to eat. Our reservation was not honored. We checked in and the hostess said I don’t even have the tablet here to look at who booked through open table. We were put down below a list of people that walked in. We stayed got a half hour- the length of time told and then didn’t get seated so we left as we had another engagement to attend.

    First and last time visitor. Service was the worst. Clearly they are struggling. It took 45 minutes for an order of cheese curds. Followed up on them twice then waited another hour for a burnt hamburger and some flatbreads. The only service was each time i went and asked for a waitress or the manager. I love Peoria but this place is currently a failure.

    Sadly they are clearly understaffed as so many places are. We had a reservation on a busy Saturday night. We were seated in about 15 minutes. It took another 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table. As far as I could tell them were only 2 overworked servers. No one made eye contact. A big pet peeve of mine. We had to ask 3 times for water. The burgers were fine. The drinks were fine.

    Place seemed interesting to try while we were in the area. We made reservations, and were sat promptly on arrival. We sat down, and then waited 15 minutes for our server to even acknowledge us. She seemed less than enthusiastic to be working. We asked for a beer menu, but were told there were none, due to everything getting wet that day. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about what choices they had, and we eventually had to get up and go look at the taps. Took quite some time to get our first drink, and then even longer to place our order. It seemed our server could never be found. It took awhile for our dinner to come out, and it was disappointing to have our empty glasses just sit at the end of the table while we waited. We did notice that the bartender was serving multiple tables, plus the bar, and doing a fantastic job of attending to all her customers. Meanwhile, we couldn’t even get our server to even look in our direction. Eventually we were asked after our food came out if we’d like another drink. Food was just okay. Nothing to rave about. Our check was then brought to us shortly after our food arrived, which then made us feel rushed and dismissed. I think had we had a different server our experience would have been different. But unfortunately we were disappointed when we left.

    It was honestly just okay. The ambience was great, other than that, everything else was pretty standard. You could hear the noise from the hotel pool from where we were sitting. *shrugs* A very average place.

    I made a reservation for 7 pm for Wednesday evening. I get to the restaurant and there’s a sign on the door that said they were closed for the rest of the day. I know things happen but I feel someone from the restaurant should have called people who had reservations and let them know versus them driving there and seeing a sign on the door. I gave everything one star because nobody called me to let me know about them closing and obviously I didn’t get to try the food or drinks. Very disappointed! :(
