    We have gone multiple times since they’ve been open. This last Friday night was the worst experience. We had a new server and he was doing the best. He could, however forgot about our order and I’m think they had a new kitchen chefs. Our food was terrible, raw fish, overcooked salmon, no taste not at all what was expected. The manager did give us free appetizer comp. However, the appetizers were amazing and we would definitely go back for just drinks and appetizers!!

    1st time here and so disappointed. They were out of apples and pears so unable to get either of the flat breads we were really interested in. The goyza was swimming in the grease from what appeared to be the liquid from the braised short ribs. Truffle fries had no seasoning or truffle. The ribeye was very tough and the smashed potatoes were not smashed nor even have salt. I finally asked for some salt and butter. The only saving grace were the drinks were good and our waiter was very pleasant. We had heard good things so we’re really astonished about how awful and greasy the food was. We won’t be back.

    The restaurant was crowded and loud. I miss the small plates that were previously on the menu. They seem to be short staffed so wait time for drinks/.condiments took longer than expected

    This has been one of our go-to places for date night, out with friends, celebrations etc, so it's a lot for me to write a negative review. Over the last year or so we have noticed the quality of the food and service drastically change. Last night will be my last time visiting, at least until something is done. The restaurant, like always, was full. Our server was prompt in checking in on us, but our drinks from the bar took longer than usual and were practically watered down by the time they made it to our table. All four cocktails were subpar. The margarita I ordered was essentially a shot of tequila with a smidge of ginger syrup and melted ice. Our appetizer was fantastic, but the entrees again were subpar. Myself and a friend both ordered the shrimp. The entrees came out two at a time with about a ten minute gap between. My shrimp came out 10 minutes after hers and our entrees not only looked completely different, mine was also raw. The difference in the amount of sauce, peppers, noodles, etc was very noticeable to all at the table. My noodles were dry. No sauce. I brought the raw shrimp to our servers attention and it was remedied quickly, but the same dry, and now cold noodles, were brought out with it. Our table was also cleared too quickly. Taking a half full glass of wine away without asking. At the end when we split checks nothing was correct. Drinks were on wrong tabs or missing, etc. We decided to just tab out as it was and call it a night.

    Good food, but not outstanding. Rather expensive for the amount of food. Service was not observant. Main course arrived before the salad. One of the waiters tried to remove plates before we were finished, in kind of a grab and run fashion. This was not because were were slow or the room was crowded. Very good beer selection. Had only 1 beer, but the glass not even close to filled when it arrived, as if maybe a third of the beer was spilled from the glass on the way to our table. Very nice room.

    We’ve come to eat here four different times in the last nine months in order to gauge improvements along the way. It is consistently very noisy, service is often slow to greet you and bring your drinks and food is good but not great. The location makes it an ideal spot, but, it’s simply been inconsistent over time.

    The food was rushed for the price, and wait staff appeared to be super taxed. Good service, just too much for each waiter/waitress. Drinks were good, but lack of ability to be attentive made what could of been excellent, just ok.

    We waited almost 20 minutes before the server even came over the food came out wrong and it like it’s normal luster p and normally come to this restaurant all the time I ordered a pizza and it barely had any cheese or meat on it in the honey sauce wasn’t on there normally it’s excellent when I come here but the service this time was very very slow ,

    Ah what a disappointment. This had been one of our favorite restaurants in Roanoke but it's changed for the worse. Went again and its not nearly as good. They now have limited menu options. Portions have shrunk and prices have gone up. Hamburger came to our table severely undercooked. No ice tea available - in Texas in the summer. Guess we scratch it off the list.

    They’ve raised prices and cut portions. For $30, I was served a side salad and a decent size piece of salmon. It was delicious but not impressed with the portion size for the price.

    We always come at least once when we are in town. Tonight I had the short ribs and a Manhattan. Both were delicious as always. Jessica was our server and took great care of us. I highly recommend Craft & Vine.

    Enjoyed another great meal at Craft & Vine. Food is delicious - my personal favorites are hummus, ribeye or hamburger. But honestly everything I’ve had has been tasty. Comfortable ambience and service is always great. Shout out to our server tonight - Jessica! Will definitely be back!

    The food and drinks were amazing start to finish. Mackenzie our server was very knowledgeable and helped us out with any questions we had. The manger stopped by to check on us which was a nice surprise! We will definitely be back for date night.

    I have been here a handful of times and have always loved the food and service. But on this particular day it was not good. The bar tender and cook had not shown up to work by 11am there when the waitress was ready to take our order. They took their amazing French toast off the menu which had me sad! We could only order mimosas since the bar tender wasn’t there but also they were out of orange juice and supposedly the manager went to get some but he still was not there by the time we left. Our food took about an hour to come out, and our waitress never gave us an update through out the wait. My pancakes were hard and funny tasting. Hopefully this was just one bad day they were having. Still… bring back my French toast!

    The portions on “big plates” are not in line with the price tag. Fries that look like a side of McDonalds fries with some container grated cheese sprinkled and barely 1 ounce of sauce does not worth $12. Then the description is also very misleading on menu. A “half chicken” is not taking 2 very small pieces of chicken and splitting in half to call it half a chicken. Also, the side of risotto was not described as “fried cakes”, yet that’s what we got. The entire plate was fried with not even a vegetable on the plate, not to mention it lacked flavor (other than grease). My husband ordered the dish thinking it was a healthier option and despite my trying to get him to return it, he stuck it out but said he wouldn’t come back. I enjoyed my meal and beverage but felt bad that my husband did not. He is a GM for a local restaurant chain and knows the “business” well. He also knows how pricing and portions work but C&V failed on this one. Do better on describing your menu items and get pricing in line with the portions. People don’t just come to C&V for drinks and atmosphere.

    Overall not the best experience. Long wait times for the server to return to the table but it was not busy. My salad did not have the ingredients listed on the menu. Bar tender forgot to make 1 of 2 of the drinks after we already had a decent wait time. I just feel our experience each time we visit always contains issues. It's not consistent but this place has so much potential.

    We were excited to try this place for the first time. Our waitress was friendly. It took a while for her to make It to our table. After ordering drinks and an appetizer, we waited and waited. Our appetizer came out before our drinks. We ordered the short ribs and the mezze board. She short rib was literally a piece of meat that tasted like roast and was tiny. It came with some type of rice that had more eggs than rice in it. The board I received was not even the right one. When I asked about it the waitress confirmed they had given me the wrong kind, eventually I got the right one but again had to wait for it. It had small portions of the items listed like hummus and burrata, but no crackers or bread or anything to eat with those items, the marinated artichokes were so dry I couldn’t even eat them. The lemon cheesecake martini was delicious, but everything else was bland and just overall off. Over all a miss for us. We won’t be back.

    We had a reservation for Father’s Day. We arrived a little early, and stood at the host desk for 15 minutes, and no one ever came. A family was walking out of the restaurant and they told us the restaurant was having issues—so we left, as well, and went elsewhere.

    Our waitress was wonderful with recommendations and suggestions. The food was perfectly seasoned and hot and delicious. This was our first time visiting and will definitely return. Only personal complain was our high top chairs did not have backs (some do) and the room was a tad warm, although my several drinks only made me warmer. Overall it’s a 4.5 out of 5 and we will be back.

    The dinner started off great with a very attentive server. We ordered an entree after enjoying wine, oysters, and a salad. After waiting 45 minutes for the entree, and observing multiple tables get their orders and leave while we were waiting for the entree, we asked the sever and she suddenly appeared with the entree, only to discover it over cooked and the order placed incorrectly. While it would be easy to speculate reason for the delay, the bottom line is that service deteriorated considerably during our visit. We asked for our bill and walked across the street to another restaurant to finish a meal. The restaurant does have a great ambiance so it is disappointing to have experienced the level of service we did. This after driving from Dallas to experience it.

    The main entree’s were delicious. The short ribs were so tender and seasoned well. The rice that came with it was really good to. Drinks were great and the server was good. The only reason I give it an overall 3 is because of the charcuterie board. It was $54 and is wasn’t good! Way too overpriced for what u got. Is was so disappointing because I love charcuterie boards. We may go back however we won’t order the board. Not a good value got your money.

    We had the best server - she was amazing. So sweet, helpful and kind; attentive without being pushy or disruptive. We both ordered the short ribs, by recommendation from our server and they were BOMB-DIGITY, DELICIOUS! We sat on the indoor patio and enjoyed the warmth of the sun without getting too warm. It was a wonderful date night - we'll definitely be back! :)
