From the OpenTable editors: Chef Michael Stoltzfus showcases local ingredients at his swanky Southern bistro, nominated for numerous James Beard Awards since opening in 2008. In a two-story residence in the Garden District that dates back to the 1880s, the elegant dining rooms are lined with brick and chandeliers. Gulf seafood stars at the raw bar, from local oysters to crabmeat and crackers, and fans love the fried chicken brunches and “no menu” five-course dinners.

This all-inclusive dinner will celebrate Coquette's 18 years, centered around one of our fan-favorite events, Fried Chicken Dinner. The night will begin with welcome cocktails, bubbles, and passed hors d'oeuvres inspired by our "raw bar" era, continuing into a family style, communally seated dinner with fried chicken and sides, wines selected and poured by our Wine Guy, Ryan Plas, cocktails created just for the night by our bar manager, Ty Hebert, and finishing off with a spread of desserts and amaro. Come celebrate our final service with our team!

    I have eaten at many restaurants throughout New Orleans for more than 20 years and this one is my FAVORITE! I am crushed that the owner has decided to close. The dishes are fresh and unique. I had a cucumber appetizer and a bread with a cheese spread that were truly awesome. The wait staff was so helpful with my food sensitivities. They were knowledgeable and steered me toward the best dishes for me.So sorry that I will not get to experience this excellence again.

    When I read Coquette was closing at the end of June, I immediately made a reservation for my husband's upcoming birthday. We've eaten here multiple times for birthdays and our anniversary. It's always been one of our favorites. The restaurant was slammed, but the staff wasn't harried or stressed, all very friendly and upbeat. The food was outstanding. I'm so glad we were able to have one last meal here. We'll miss it.

    Just a wonderful experience. We made a last minute reservation at like 9:00 and they close at 9:30. They were more than happy to accommodate us and man am I thankful they did. The food was outrageously good. And the cocktails were as well.
