We’ve been here many times and have always left very satisfied. The food is Interesting and full of flavor. We have yet to be disappointed and plan on continuing to dine here.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here this past weekend. We loved the food and the service was impeccable! We will definitely be coming back!
Extensive and eclectic tapas menu.
Very pleasant! I indicated in the notes section on Open Table that it was my friend’s birthday. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and champagne and a complimentary small plate (the Bikini which is insanely delicious) from the chef was delivered to our table — the rest of the evening is a lovely historical memory! The waitress, food runners, etc where all lovely and pleasant.
Thanks again for providing such a wonderful experience.
Great time and great hospitality. Very creative menu and small plates. Service was helpful and impeccable.
Outstanding service and food. Ask for Travis. He was our server, and he crushed it!
The service is always impeccable and the food is outstanding. With their weekday happy hour special on their traditional tapas, it’s such a great deal and opportunity to explore new items on the menu. I live in the neighborhood, so this is one of my go to places!
Great food and great service and we were a very large party. Very impressed.
My new favorite restaurant anywhere in the world! This is just amazing food and the staff just made it that much more amazing. Travis was spot on all night. The food was perfection over the course of about ten different small plates. The handcrafted "Son of a Gun" cocktail was smooth as could be.
Nice environment, friendly staff, lack luster food.
I ordered the Hingis y Setas and the dish below (don’t recall the name) both lacked taste and I understand this is tapas—however the items were very small.
There’s no comparison to another popular restaurant Gypsy Kitchen, their tapas are fuller and flavorful.
Drinks are good, but contain more ice than booze. The food was hit or miss -- about 70/30 on quality. Our toast was burnt (twice!). Server was excellent. We had an 8:45 PM reservation, but were not seated until 9:25. Ugh!
The service and food were great. The customers there are also very classy, which makes it an even more pleasant experience. Definitely a great place for special occasions. Encore, encore!
Always on target: Great food, excellent service. A bit noisy, but what is noisy to some is energetic to others.
We both were celebrating our birthdays and were pleasantly surprised with a yummy desserts. Thank you. That is defiently going over and beyond.
The food was oustanding. So flavorful. Really enjoyed it. And our server was excellent. Only two things were not great: Didn't love being seated in the area with heaters on a cold, wet night when I had booked in advance. But that wasn't a huge deal. The bigger issue was when we were told that our dessert could not be split in half on our bills. REALLY? That should not be difficult. Fix it, C&S.
Horrible service and severely overpriced food for the quality and portions. Won’t be around long.
Manager on duty was awesome!
She gave us a tour of the kitchen!
It was my first time at Cooks and Soldiers celebrating an out of town guest's and a birthday. We had an amazing experience with the unique tapas, cocktails atmosphere and appreciated and loved the service! I have recommended many friends to enjoy the total Cooks and Soldiers experience!
We’ve been here before, food was semi authentic to the San Sebastián region. Flavors were balanced and items were coooked to perfection. This time however, food was a mix of Asian with fusion of maybe Spanish but not really. All the dishes, all! Were sweet, all had some type of glaze, far from San Sebastián. We couldn’t finish not even one dish, once you start with a sweet glaze for an appetizer on each dish no wine can help with you palate
Had an amazing anniversary there. Really went above and beyond to make us have an incredible experience. Would highly recommend this place for dates or other special occasions.
Food and service was wonderful! Great recommendations and explanations from the waiter and the Bikinis are to die for!
Amazing service and phenomenal food!
The food was delicious. Great presentation. Service was excellent. Only glitch was other couple with us ordered the meal for 2, pork tenderloin. Took greater than 30 minutes for them to get their food. We would come back again however.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the ATL. Always good food and great service.
Incredible food. Fun atmosphere. Great drinks. My wife and I had a great time!
I have been many times, but this last visit left me wondering if i’ll come here again. Everything seemed a little hurried. The drinks seemed to come out of the Kitchen rather than the bar and came out so fast i’m Wondering if they pre make large batches to expedite? The toasts were more like bread, mo crunch to them. The food trypically is good, but give it 3 stars this time just because everything seemed hurried. The thing that i noticed though was how few of the servers seemed to be happy. There weren’t many smiles and as a result i think the atmosphere was picking up on that. Overall not bad, but not great as it previously was.
Food was bland and overpriced. Did not remind us Spanish cousine. Service was good.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The menu is diverse in its offerings and there is an impressive number of wines, ports, sherries, and cocktails available. Special shout out to Christopher, the restaurants Sherry and Port guru. Always nice to learn a little something while out for a nice meal.
Our table was in the corner by the bar, so we weren't in the main dining area. Aside from that, we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The staff were attentive and engaging. The food (we ordered around 12 assorted pintxos for four people) was delicious. The jamon iberico was, as expected, mouth-wateringly good. Would surely recommend to friends and family.
Awesome experience. The ventilation must have been horrible though. We got home and our clothes smelled pretty strong.
It was wonderful. I will definitely go back
Always treated like family here. The most knowledgeable staff and best overall dining experience I’ve had in Atlanta. Truly captures the adventurous gastronomic traditions of Donostia/San Sebastián, and that’s a tall order.
Went here with my date for the New Year's Eve celebration. Great service and vibe. We ordered a couple of drinks and Foie Gras which were great. Please note that they mainly serve tapas.
Excellent menu with great food. Much is different from basic dishes so ask your waiter their suggestions. We have all tapas and starters, the Rabbit, Quail, Octopus and shishito peppers were all outstanding. Need to go back just to try other specialties. Drinks are also very good. Overall, meal was 5 star with very moderate pricing.
We were a party of 12 at 12/31/2018.Promptly sat we had a perfect 10 experience. It was a fantastic night. Our servers Jordan and Laurie could not have been any greater.their timing on all aspect of service was so great. The wine service incredible, the food was excellent from Lobster,to the whole 4 pound fish which was cooked to perfection remain with me still!
This. Was superbly executed on all levels. As a restaurant owner for the last 27 years I respect excellent execution on busy nights. They master it at Cooks & Soldiers.
The food was amazing! The service was wonderful! A fun nye in Atlanta!
Great first experience at Cooks & Soldiers on New Year’s Eve! NYE is always a difficult night for restaurants to get perfect, but we were blown away. Prompt and friendly service, good ambience even with a packed house, and every single dish we had lived up to the hype. Basque cake, bikini, papitas disko, barbakoa vasca, chistorra and albodingas are all “must orders”.
We went for New Years Eve and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had one of the 2 pound ribeyes which was excellent. The salmon, duck, scallops, sunchokes,
