   Outstanding as usual whether a regular meal or, in this case, a special wine dinner. Consistency is not always a good thing but here it is; consistently among the best experiences anywhere.

   This place can be so very good, as it was on Valentine's Day. I am surprised it's not booked solid, but not really, because its hours are so eccentric. Still, well worth looking to make a reservation!

   Second time here, beautiful and delicious food both times. Service has been amazing each time and will definitely be back. Small menu that changes pretty often it seems. I am in love with their Crab Cake though!

   Coohills is an outstanding restaurant that I highly recommend. The food and service are second to none. My wife has significant medical issues and needs to watch what she eats and Coohills went out of their way to accommodate what she needed. I cannot wait to return to this incredible restaurant

   You can eat amazing food at Coohills -- if you can figure out when they're open! The restaurant is operated according to unusual rules. Closed frequently for private events. Open and crowded on days where there is an Avalanche or Nuggets game across the street. Regular service by reservation or walk-in? Well, it's unpredictable, which discourages walking over to see if you can walk in. And booking a reservation can be confusing. A recent Saturday: last available time was 6:30. So booked solid after that? Not at all. Nothing booked so they closed early, after feeding us and a few other lucky early birds; we were well fed indeed. It's good to be lucky sometimes!

   We were sat in the bar area instead of the dining area so this wasn't the experience we had hoped for. The food and service was just so-so. I liked the ambiance of the dinning area. It's a cute place, just not for us.

    Very nice fine-dining with close proximity to Ball Arena. Fun atmosphere but private table with a salute by the bar to all patrons for a Nuggets cheer before the game. Menu is concise with enough options to satisfy carnivores to vegans. Highly recommended for a great dinner spot before an event across the street or other downtown attractions.

    Beautiful casual venue close to the arena for the Denver Nuggets game we were attending. Food was disappointing for the price, but we had a lovely time. Our server was attentive and gracious.

    Outstanding - All of it. A member of our party has severe food allergies. Our server Blake was on it. He took copious notes and worked with the chef to create a beautiful, delicious meal for her. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Many thanks to Coohills for taking the stress out of our dinner for us and out guest.

    I don’t like writing a review like this but we were really disappointed. We tried this place because we were going to a concert at Ball arena and it was close! We waited 2 1/2 hours for our food and when we got it, both entrees were cold. We got the risotto and the short rib. The short rib had good flavor but it was cold and totally dry. We ordered crab cake and the burrata, which had good flavor but were really small. We didn’t have time to send anything back- we barely made it to the concert on time. The waitstaff was nice and doing their best but paying over $200 for this experience was a real bummer.

    Without question, Coolhills is my favorite experience to date. There are others that come to mind in other cities, but the dedication, preparation and execution that must have gone into the dishes we ordered was remarkable. Combined with the small, cozy interior that does not crowd its tables and the amazing service that we received, Coolhills is easily at the top of my list these days.

    Outstanding French influenced food. Excellent taste and textures. Clean food presentation. Service outstanding. We sat at a community table in front of the kitchen. Staff owner and chef very personable and precise attention to detail. Our favorite date dinner before shows at Ball Arena. Get there early so you have unrushed time for en exquisite 3 course meal.

    Very loud and out of control patrons in the bar. On a Saturday night. Is this a bar or an upscale restaurant? Portions were small. Sea bass was delicious but duck was served just short of raw.

    I wanted to give this a full 5 stars. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The ambiance was a little off. It was our first anniversary celebration and we were tucked back in the corner by the bar/TV playing a baseball game. Not the vibe we were shooting for when planning a pricey celebratory dinner. I would absolutely go back for the food though. Crab cakes were 10/10 and the bread pudding was fantastic. Cocktails were great! Was just hoping for a different ambiance. Would go back to try different menu items as the menu always changes but seems like a better spot for a bigger group to have a special occasion dinner.

    The service was great but it was such a hyped restaurant that I expected more of the food and ambience. It is rather casual and a bit loud. Food was very good but nothing outstanding. The bread pudding could do with a bit less caramel, it overpowered the the rest of the dessert.

    I ate dinner there before a concert. It was so close and so much quieter and better food than the other two restaurants within walking distance of Ball Arena. The food was amazing! They have happy hour, even! I’ll always go there before an event at Ball Arena from now on! My friend and I are looking forward to sharing this restaurant with our husbands!

    My husband and I had our rehersal dinner here a year and a half ago. They opened specifically for our event after being closed for over a month and being out of town (it was in the middle of covid). Even in cold temperatures outside the food was AMAZING (get the bread pudding even if you don't think you like bread pudding) as was the service. We came back to get dinner recently and everything was just as lovely as the first time. I highly recommend to anyone looking to do an event or intimate, delicious dinner.

    The Icelandic pop up dinner was phenomenal. The quality of the food, presentation and wine pairings made for a very special meal. While our food came out in a timely manner, the restaurant seemed to be a bit understaffed. Our server, while nice, told us very little about the food and another server told us about the wine only when he overheard me telling my friend that i wished they would tell me about what i was drinking. Overall a good experience.
