    Fantastic dinner experience at Cocoa last night. The fish, elk and duck dishes were all craveable. Our serve, Caleb, also recommended a fabulous Lebanese wine that was one of the best wines we’ve tried in some time (and very affordable). This has quickly become one of our go-to restaurants at it is always friendly with dependably great food.

    Excellent service by our server, as well as the manager stopping by to check on us. Food was excellent as well! Patio seating was comfortable, as we brought our puppy with us. Already planning a return visit!

    Unfortunately, our favorite dish at Cocha that kept us coming back, and likely the best dish I ever have tasted locally and nationally, was removed and replaced a few months ago. It used to be beautiful and spectacular yellow curry with sweet potatoes, cashews, crispy kale. The replacement curry dish they chose in it’s place was a complete disappointment and not comparable at all. Although disappointed in our main dish, we did enjoy the Rainbow Beet Salad as an appetizer & Tres Leche for dessert! We do love and appreciate the atmosphere and fresh ingredients!!!

    We felt taken care of from the moment we walked in! All of the servers work together to make sure their patrons are taken care of. My husband and I love trying new things and this menu was perfect! We will be making another trip to try more!

    Perfectly wonderful ambience - chill and the staff were knowledgeable about the cuisine and about customer service. As for the cocktails - balanced and adventuresome (not so complicated your palette looses track of the experience). I strongly suggest you sip on the cocktail with Japanese whiskey as a key ingredient. The food was very good - Veal couldn’t have been better prepared, the Peruvian stew featured perfectly prepared scallops and shrimp. Also, is you have a sweet tooth, don’t skip the tres leches - decadent and worth it!

    Everything was Louisiana Local, fresh, and expertly recommended, prepared, and served. Our server, Andrew, was attentive, intelligent, detailed, and charming. Top tier service. The offerings from virgin cocktails through the appetizers all the way to dessert were exceptional. Zero complaints, and we were genuinely blown away by the fact that everything we had was EXCEPTIONAL. Details: Drinks- Mexican Coke and Zero Proof virgin cocktail Appetizer- Cachapas Entrees- Market Seafood dish (best salmon EVER) with black rice and veggies, and the Vegan Roasted Lasagna. INCREDIBLE. Dessert- Tres leches and vegan chocolate ice cream. Both decadent and delicious. Don’t sleep on this fantastic spot!

    Quite simply, one of the finest restaurants to visit in downtown Baton Rouge. Nice menu selection. Good cocktails, albeit a little pricy. Wine menu borderline expensive. We come to Baton Rouge for the marathon every year, and this is one place we eat at every time. I had the grilled Elk, and the wife have the duck breast. Both were excellent.

    The service was impeccable! I had a nice Southern Bourbon cocktail that tasted like a whiskey sour to drink. For starters I had the tomato pepper soup and then the vegetable lasagna for my main course. All of the food was deliscious! The soup was well seasoned and full of vegetables (very filling). The lasagna was so creamy but not heavy and it eas served with a side salad., I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. Unfortunately I had no room for desert.

    Love this place, but the seating is very uncomfortable, it really takes away from the dining experience… a place of this caliber should have seating that is comfortable for an hour dining experience… not cheap hard surface seating that is designed for 15 minutes in a cafe…

    It was a great night as always! The food was very good and the atmosphere is always nice. They had a guitar player this time who was very good but a little too loud to keep a conversation while he was playing. Otherwise I would highly recommend Cocha any day!
