                                                                                                                                    Took my teen daughter here for dinner as I thought she would love the vibe of the restaurant. We both did! Artistically, this space is amazing. Colorful, fun, a delicious treat for the eyes. Gotta be ok with sugar skull art! FOOD excellent, beautiful presentation, tapas size plates, reasonably priced DRINKS Disclaimer: I don’t drink alcohol, but did—and tended bar for many years—and the drink menu is mouth watering. AND they will turn pretty much any drink into mocktail. GIGANTIC BONUS! Beautiful presentation for cocktails and had to say I enjoyed the colorful bendy straws :D SERVICE Service was very good. Our waiter had an entire private party in the back room in addition to the floor, and did a nice job catering to both. Food came out promptly with runners. Bussers cleared table fairly promptly as well. Everyone friendly and courteous. WILL BE RETURNING!

                                                                                                                                    The cocktails were very creative, pretty, and delicious. The octopus was charred nicely but lukewarm to the taste. Short rib carne asada matched nicely with the fries, and the chicken croquettes were crisped and tasty. Beef Birria tacos with the consommé were awesome. Enjoyed every bite of these! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful.

                                                                                                                                    The food was decent, but very underwhelming. Everything that was supposed to be hot (chicken croquettes, duck taquitos, fried cauliflower, and brisket fries) were incredibly lukewarm—which lead us to believe it wasn’t cooked to order. Especially considering how it came out of the kitchen in under 3 minutes. The server wasn’t very friendly, but it was busy and I can give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately it just further detracted from the overall experience.

                                                                                                                                    I first went to C & S when it was in the Back Bay and had a fantastic experience. The food, cocktails, and service were brilliant. I can't say the same for their new location in the seaport. I tried three different cocktails and they watery and bland. I found the ceviche too salty but the cauliflower was palatable. I was looking forward to the Birria tacos but they fell flat. They were very greasy and not spicy. The only positive experience I had was our waiter. I will not be going back.

                                                                                                                                    The dining room is beautiful so we had high hopes. The apps we ordered were good but the tacos weren’t my favorite. I ordered the chicken and it was a fried rubbery thigh with the skin on. The others in my party ordered beef - which was fried and oil was dripping from it and fish - also fried with a thick batter.
