Cielito Lindo is an extension of La Cita Mexican Restaurant in Cherry Hill. Owners, Olivia, Regulo Reyes and Alma, are originally from Puebla, Mexico and have been residing in South Jersey for over 20 years. Regulo served as an executive chef at Caffe Aldo Lamberti and Positano Coast by Lamberti for over 15 years before pursuing an independent restaurant venture. A pleasant experience. It was not crowded but the food was somewhat slow in coming out. Not sure why they only offer burritos for lunch and not dinner. Excellent value and portion size. Both dishes, taco dish and fajitas were very good. Did not offer any cheese or lettuce with fajitas but an abundance of peppers, squash. Nicely decorated low noise level due to the small amount of diners in the restaurant. BYOB.

This was our first time to Cielito Lindo and we have lived in the area for years. We just discovered it and my husband and I both agreed it will absolutely be our new go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. The food and service were incredible.

We had a reservation at lunchtime on Cinco de Mayo. Expected it to be very crowded but it wasn't at all. The service was terribly slow and frankly just not great (didn't offer extra water, never brought glasses when our full party arrived). There were many menu modifications that we weren't told about until after we ordered (no soups or salad available, only serving dinner menu not lunch).... I would expect these to be posted at the hostess stand or the server to announce when we were seated. When we finished our meal, we found out their credit card machine was down. On Cinco de Mayo?! Poor planning and execution. The food is terrific, but I'm not sure it's worth such sloppy service.

We had a party of four and all agreed that this was maybe the best meal we've ever experienced at Cielito -- and there have been MANY! The place was packed and yet the kitchen delivered in a timely and impressive fashion. Most of the daily specials were sampled and each delivered great flavor and were beautifully plated, especially the shrimp in mango sauce. The service was also spot-on -- again, despite every table being taken. Good show!

The pacing is a big problem here -- it might not be the server but rather the kitchen. Either way, at every step everything took too much time -- both the appetizer and the main course were served far too late

Disappointed with the chicken enchiladas we both ordered. Boiled chicken wrapped in tortillas with sauce over top. Not also very hot (temperature wise). Nacho starter was ok. Service slow but they were full. Small and pretty cantina atmosphere.

Cielito Lindo is one of the best local Mexican restaurants. Food is great. In particular, love the mole sauce and the veggie nachos. Its BYOB, but they do offer a pitcher of margarita mix that you can bring tequila for.

So fresh and delicious. We had the guacamole and shrimp ceviche. We also had the short ribs and brisket tacos which were absolutely to die for. I’m not a big Mexican food fan but I will be back here over and over again!

Not many choices for kids, which is on us. Food was ok, not great. It’s byob and they charge $6 for sour Margherita mix/juice that is not good. I would pay $6 for a margarita with actual alcohol. The corn was awesome, the plantains were good but the tacos were average to sub par. Our kids like the horchata and is probably the only thing we would go back for.

Cielito Lindo is our "go to" place for Mexican Cuisine in central Jersey. The food is fantastic, the value is great, and the service is always excellent (we are always pleased to have Lorena serve us!). You can't go wrong at this wonderful family run restaurant!
