Food was good but on the pricey side. $16 for a “special” salad is high. $20 for lasagne is high although it is very good. Pasta is very good. BYOB is nice.
Let's just say the best part of our meal was the bread.
This is our third time dining at Ciao. The food is excellent. We have tried many different dishes and all excellent, with the pastas being our favorite (all homemade). The calamari was excellent as was the mushroom appetizer. Unfortunately, we have been too full to sample the desserts. Prices are reasonable and love that it is a BYOB.
I usually don’t write reviews, but this was probably the first time in my life I walked into a restaurant and was blown away with how good the food that was cooking smelled. The chef was cooking veal chops and I ordered it immediately. I also don’t like to repeat restaurants, but I can see myself coming back here very soon!
First time there and we loved it. This same building has been a different restaurant in the past, and it didn’t last. Hoping this one does... great food and friendly staff. It’ll be a go to place for us, since it’s right in the neighborhood.
This place is great for date night. Lighting was perfect and the food was superb.
Very good food at this BYOB, and reasonable prices. The ambiance was a lacking. The staff was friendly. A few of our orders weren’t exactly right. Would definitely go back.
Very quiet on a slow night. All four of us enjoyed our food and the opportunity to dine and chat without a lot of background noise (music or conversation). We will return.
The food was excellent some of the best Italian food I have ever had as far as the service goes they have only been open for three weeks and they are working out some of the Kinks but I think this will be one of my top places to continue to go to

A Neighborhood gem. Recently opened and working through minor staffing level issues. This is going to be a real winner. Been there twice in two weeks. Took neighbors and they really liked this restaurant as well. Wide menus choices, Really special "specials."
This restaurant although new will never make it. Although confirmed online they did not have my reservation which I proved on my i phone for them. They seated me on a back wall with no table cloth which all other tables except one had. Asked server if she could dry the table because it was wet and she said yes but never returned to do that so it eventually dried on its own. When asked for bread which we saw being cut in the kitchen on our way in the response was we do not have any butter. Never even received just bread after asking another server a second time. Only one waiter to take orders for a room of about 60 patrons. No one offered a wine glass until I asked, it is a BYOB. Food good. Received dinner quickly. Price very reasonable. There was so much stress involved with this reservation that it ruined the whole experience for us. We will not be returning.
This was my second visit and Chef Sandro highly recommended the range free veal chop.
A great recommendation. Perhaps the best veal chop ever. My dining partner enjoyed the well prepared lasagna. Ciao seems to have really taken off as there wasn't an empty table by 6:30. Finally a real authentic Italian Chef who has brought his high level of talent in the kitchen along with a dynamic personality in the dining room as he identifies each item on the menu. This place is a keeper and we look forward to the next visit.
The food was great. My wife had the mascarpone ricotta gnocchi. They were so light and delicious. I had the veal chop special. It was expertly grilled. The dining room has white table clothes but the decor is rustic Italy, including sliding barn doors on the wall. It’s BYOB too.
Great new BYOB, only open a week when we visited. Terrific food, served by chef/owner may cause some issues until they staff up, but the food was outstanding, but they're off to a very nice start.
Excellent dinner! Generous portions, reasonable prices. Well crafted gnocchi and pasta! Pasta and fagioli soup was the best I’ve ever had. Restaurant has only been open about a week but everything was well executed. Plus it’s a BYOB! Highly recommended!
