   The food is delicious but we were told when we ordered that the dishes were intended to be shared and that they wouldn’t all come out at the same time which was a surprise. We each ordered an large plate and did some minimal sharing just to taste each dish. The portions were not so big as to imply/require sharing like some Asian restaurants so we were a little confused. The dishes came out one at a time and, as a result, for extended periods some of us (party of 4) had food and some didn’t. By the time the last dish came out, the first diner had long finished. The last diner essentially ate alone. Not sure why this is the deal because the dishes were not complex. I think this will deter us from returning, although all other aspects of the experience were very good. Definitely think the website and menu should detail the fact that dishes do not come out together, or even close, so you know that going in.

   Our group of four took the suggestions of our waitress and tried an array of everything. The Mongolian noodles were a personal favorite. The soup dumplings are always good. The spiced dumplings were over cooked, and we left those on the table. In total we spent nearly $300 and I will admit, I was still hungry after we were done. Yes to their lunch. Yes to their happy hour. Yes on a date night, but maybe not a group setting when you’re really hungry.

    Stood at the hostess desk about 5 minutes. Great bang for your buck as it was restaurant week. Unfortunately the French onion dumplings did not have enough soup/broth. The kimchi rice had immense flavor and was delicious, though at least half of the dish was egg. The fried chicken was juicy but lacked flavor. The crab purses were the star of the show. Wine selection was decent. Service was average. Got dessert to go and only received half.

    We ate here upon a friend's recommendation, on our last night in the Denver area before heading home. We were driving back from Vail, and ran into some tough weather and traffic detours, so the restaurant was very understanding when we told them we would be more than 15 minutes late, but we were on our way. We were very pleased with our meal, we enjoyed the crispy shrimp roll, the french onion soup dumplings, the Korean Bo Ssam Pork, and my favorite was the Waygu beef skewers which were the best by far, they were so tasty and just melted in your mouth. I would definitely come back here again.

    We went for denver restaurant week and got the $90 menu for two. We loved every dish we had and we were so full at the end of the night. Our food came out fast and hot and our server was great.

    Even though we had a reservation we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Once we sat it was evident why there was such a backup. Everything was very slow to come out. We waited an unreasonable amount of time to order, which was taken not by our server, but by someone else entirely. Thanks to her we did get our food (which was delicious) but there were very long gaps between dishes. Understandably this was a Saturday night during Restaurant Week, but the delays definitely took away from the experience.

    They were out of the 3 of the 4 items we came for. Price was expensive for the food quality. Our favorite thing was the Brussel spouts, the rest wasn't any better than a cheap restaurant.

    The establishment was very clean and staff was friendly. I was very disappointed with the drinks we had. The food was tasty but portions were not justified by the price. My biggest dislike was a DFW charge. I had to ask what it was because it was just added without explanation. 1 % essentially goes for the rent and the other 5% is a tip out to the house. That's added then obviously you are taxed on that as well. I paid but tipped the waitresses on the initial total without taxes . I have worked in the industry and tipping out is part of the job. I don't believe the customer should be forced to tip 30%.

    Our dinner was wonderful as it always is at ChoLon, but it was the dessert that really wowed us this time around. We had the Kaya crème brûlée with white pepper crumble and soy ice cream. It was so rich and creamy and the mix of textures was incredible.

    The sushi rolling class was very interesting and informative with quality ingredients. My only suggestion would be to have several more instructors or staff visiting the tables with a knife to cut the rolls as there was only one for about 30 people

    Accompanying the large plate menu item with lettuce leaves for wraps and 4 toppings, all of which were fine, was a brick-like slab of pork billed as "extremely tender". It was not tender. The meat was dense, dry and chewy. It appears that the pork had been seared (reheated) multiple times so that considerable pressure was required to slice it with a knife. The interior was mainly dried out. Its too bad, the restaurant has a nice ambience and the staff is pleasant.

    Food was decent. The plates were brought out about 15 minutes apart, which made dining together less meaningful. Our waiter was absent for long periods of time. We got better service from the bussing staff. The value for the price is not good.

    Have been same location several times past two years. This time (Jan. 2023) food quality not near what it used to be. maybe off night? e.g. wagyu skewers undercooked, General Cho dumplings were sour & salty & dumplings too thick. French Onion Soup dumplings were bit bland. Sushi hamachi was great though! (ordered 2). Pork Belly Bao bums were really good. Specialty cocktail lacked balance and could not taste the different ingredients listed on menu. Service is terrific!

    Food was incredible, tasty items on their menu with shareable plates for the whole table. Unfortunately I’m giving this 3 stars cause the service was not the greatest. Our waitress was super abrasive and not the friendliest. Gave us recommendations but it felt like we were bothering her. While the food was taking the most time, she had to leave close to the end of our meal time and we were out with another waiter who forgot about us most of the time. We ordered donuts as our desert and she originally said that they were gonna be comp because we were celebrating a birthday, but then they said they burnt the first batch of donuts and comped them because of that reason and not because of the birthday comp. They didn’t even put a candle in like how we saw for other tables that night. Overall the food is tasty, but the service was not up to par with what we’ve seen elsewhere. We won’t be returning to this location in the future because of this reason.

    I have been here twice. The first time was overall a good to very good experience all around (service, food, ambiance). I came back for dinner with a small group of co-workers and food was good but they were out of 5 of their menu items (around 20% of the menu). We had two servers who seemed to not communicate. One of them was particularly terse when we asked to keep our menus (we had not placed our order yet). They told us they were out of the dumplings and we wouldn’t get our order… as we were eating the dumplings we ordered. Additionally the service was pretty slow and disjointed. I really did enjoy the food and plan to try again, any place can have an off night.
