the place is so gorgeous!!! It's such a vibe I didn't understand why it wasn't packed on a friday night. everything in the menu for $10 is also a catch. It's a good place to start if you're bar hoping. They didn't have the drink I really wanted, I ended up ordering a different one that I didn't like but the bartender was so sweet she made me another version of it and made sure I enjoyed it. I'll for sure come back!

I came to Chica a few times before it became "Chica Snack Bar" and I was disappointed with the change! I have celiac disease, they used to have a full dinner menu with really unique items and lots of gluten free options. Now everything is $10 (including cocktails), but the menu is much smaller, less unique, and there were only 3 things on the menu that could be made gluten free. The food was OK, not as good as it was when I ate there in the past.

Dined with my SO and daughter. Almost everything is $10 CAN, from drinks to food. Nice vibe as you enter. Latin music on the PA, but not too loud. Tasty cocktails on the menu. The food is served tapas style and is delicious. Order the eggplant. We had several dishes, and all were very good. The service is also good, attentive without being obtrusive. Would recommend you try Chica.

We were really looking forward to our night at Chica Toronto. We had a 9:45pm reservation and even arrived a bit early, only to find the doors locked. After knocking, a man came out and told us the restaurant was closed. When we explained we had a reservation, he looked confused and surprised. No apology, no explanation, just told us to “go somewhere else.” It was honestly such a letdown. We had planned our night around this dinner, and to be turned away like that, without any attempt to make it right, was beyond disappointing. The website clearly says you’re open until 11pm. If that’s not the case, why even offer late reservations? Honestly it felt like we were just shrugged off. Really had higher hopes for this place!

They complete change/decrease the quality of the restaurant. I won’t recommend it anymore. The menu, flavour, and quality of the food is disappointing. They only had draft wine and one rose wine from a bottle really bad

Nice enough basic westernised tapas in a bar/restaurant environment. Did not seem worth going out of my way for as, during my visit, nothing seemed worthy of the Michelin mention. Nothing was stand out special. Nothing gripped me.

I really enjoyed the beautiful new renovation and the simple but high value selection on the menu. The cocktails are definitely a highlight.
