   We love coming to Chart House before performances downtown. The food is always excellent and we enjoy the Sunday AM drinks. The Mango Mojito was refreshing and tasty. I always love the eggs benedict. My friend had a lovely salad that she was very happy with. This time there seemed to be plenty of servers but we were ignored for 15 or 20 minutes before even getting water. Other than that, service was great.

   Excellent food, service and ambiance with good views over the river. The server was very nice and efficient and did an outstanding job of making sure everything was as desired. A great place to eat.

   Bread dishes were dirty. The AC was too cold. Recommended Asian Green Beans were not fresh or crispy from the flash fry. Lava Cake was overcooked. While we were downstairs for Happy Hour the food, drinks and service were great.

    Food was mediocre at best being downstairs in at view table gives u a view of tree tops. Made the reservation weeks in advance expected and upstairs table . Service was outstanding to bad everything else was almost sub-par

    We were a party of 5 at the Chart House celebrating our friendship. We had an amazing and knowledgeable server named Ella who helped us decide on our meals. The appetizers of a gigantic Shrimp Cocktail, Shrimp Coconut were delicious and beautifully plated. We followed with a Spinach Salad with bacon dressing and a Chopped Salad that were with fresh and delectable greens. Our main meals were King Salmon, Spiced Ahi Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Scallops and Halibut. All of these were enjoyed by all and we were members of the “ clean plate club,”. Desserts consisted of their delectable Mud Pie and Chocolate Lava Cake which did not disappoint. The Crafted drink menu and Wine selection was exceptional and the our service by Ella was timed well so we could enjoy each selection. It was a wonderful evening of a prime dining and we will be back for more!

    We had a great server! Our table was under an air conditioning vent, and we were very cold. She understood and graciously moved us to another table where it was much more comfortable, even though she was very busy!

    It was a Father’s Day disaster on all levels. Never dine on the lower level. Ever. It’s where you go to die and help train the untrained staff. They cook all food upstairs so your food sits out until a runner goes up and brings it down to your table. After a 90 minute wait for breakfast, the order was messed up and the food was inedible: cold eggs, eggs Benedict with hard boiled eggs, some plates missing included sides, etc. Thanks to Tony for persisting and ultimately (3 attempts) finding a manager, who handled the situation appropriately.

    Worst experience ever! We were there for over 3 hours due to complete lack of service, cold food, etc. There were flies all over our table area. Manager unresponsive. Don't go.

    We went for the brunch this past Sunday, which was also Farther’s Day. I selected this restaurant because their online brunch menu looked extensive and yummy, but was disappointed to learn that they really only had about 5 breakfast-y items on their brunch menu. Unclear if that was due to Father’s Day or if they’d simply done away with it. What we did have was fine. They also had a problem with flies. Huge black flies around the windows where we sat on the lower level. Kind of gross... Service was great, though. Nice views.

    As our ratings suggest, dining at the Chart House was a peak experience of great food and service, and the view was spectacular. Our waiter, Kevin, was attentive and knowledgeable, and he orchestrated our dining experience in the best possible way. We'll be back!

    We had reservations and they made us wait 30 min for a table despite the restaurant only being about 25% full. Service was very slow. Food was good but I’m not sure we’d return based on the fact that our reservation didn’t actually get us a table on time, and we got to watch other people eat for 30 min while there were 20 open tables

    We made a reservation for our anniversary days before for a window seat. When we get there, we're told that we don't guarantee window seating. We waited for a window seat and finally got one that was OK, not the best. That was a minor problem. Food and service was excellent. Would go there again.

    Overall everything was fine. It was very crowded and noisy. Due to the crowd the service was a bit slow. It is still one of our favorite places, but I may avoid weekends.

    Was there on a very busy night and they were short staffed. I understand. Wait staff was very friendly,professional and courteous despite lack of help. Food was superb! Do you think both our waiter and the manager should have been chewing gum?

    The Chart House provides great panoramic views of the City but the food selections fall short. Being a national recognized food operation (Landry's) they need to spend more time on the quality of the products being served.

    Despite living in Portland for more than 20 years, this was our first time visiting. We will definitely be back! Our server was fantastic, the food was perfect, the view was gorgeous, in short, it was a fantastic experience!!

    Presentation of meal was poor and plain. One dish looked as if it had been tipped over as the food was scattered all over the plate. Three lunch meals were ordered and not one of them was hot or even warm. The quality of food was disappointing compared to previous visits.
