Fantastic dinner, excellent service. The negroni was spot on, the prime rib exceptional, the seafood carbonara rich and delicious. The best fried crab claws outside the gulf coast.Get the comeback sauce for them.

Absolutely loved Char! We usually eat at Etch but decided to try Char not knowing it was a sister restaurant. The food was amazing as well as our service. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

The food is always DELICIOUS, and this was no exception. I tried something I never had--I tend to be a creature of habit--and was blown away by the Steak and bleu. Steak was done perfectly and the ingredients, especially the bleu made it quite tasty. Service, as usual was SPOT on, server, Skyler was on top of our needs and was not overaggressive and was both professional and friendly! Bottom-line, INCREDIBLE all around.

Ist time at Char and will be back!! Victoria was truly the PERFECT waitperson, attentive, offering suggestions when asked, knew the wine and food menu inside out, so friendly, kept everything moving since we were in a time crunch! Wonderful, classy setting! Started with the Fried Green Tomatoes done to perfection!!! Tasty but not overly spiced. Healthy portion (easily shared). The scallops broiled over red pepper risotto with grapes and asparagus came with choice of house salad, Caesar or Grilled Wedge for a mere $5.00. We ordered the Caesar and thankfully not overly dressed! My daughter and I shared everything and even still had some to bring home! Bread and butter were soon to appear once we were seated. We so appreciated that the kitchen divided everything for us on separate plates. I had the Brut Cava and my daughter had a dry Rosé, and again prices were more than reasonable (wine had choice of 6 oz or 9 oz pour). The menu is varied and full from an abundance of appetizers and salads to many beef cuts, seafood, pasta and a burger. Make sure to make reservations.

We had reservations and were seated quickly…we were offered a table or booth and we chose the booth. Our waiter answered our questions…and brought us the most delicious steak and salmon…so much food..all prepared perfectly,

Have gone to char many times. Today when we walked in at 455 we had to wait ten minutes to be seated No one apologized or explained In my salad there was hair. Tyler the server was excellent but no manager ever came to apologize even though this is a clear health code violation which I could report The manager should be replaced - Tyler the server was great but other than that poor experience

The service and the food was excellent! The presentation was nice!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars in some areas because all of my silverware was sticky at the bar area. The bartender did take care of it.

Lunch is always very good at Char. The daily special is very reasonable and has great side dish choices. My guest had the tenderloin tips which were amazingly tender. I would request another side rather than the fries. Our server was obviously in training, but she did an amazing job.

The benedict we had at Brunch were excellent with the exception of the overcooked eggs. Nice flavors and the collars on the steak benedict was a pleasant and tasty surprise. Grits were dry although flavorful. Service was cordial and gracious.

Food was amazing! Party of 8 and all entrees were first class. Great wine list to choose from. Bar service was fast and accurate. We added a guest late and our server was more than accommodating however it annoyed the hostess for some reason.

This was my first time at Char and I had one of the best dining experiences I can remember. The prime rib was one of the best I ever had, but the drinks, wedge salad, and sides were also excellent as was the service. Everything we experienced exuded excellent. We will be back.

We dined at Char before going to the Nashville Ballet. Service was excellent, ambiance was great and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. We definitely will be dining here again and you should too.

The prime rib is easily the best I’ve ever had. I usually get the scallops every time, but the prime rib blew me away. My wife’s filet was perfect. They were kind enough to put us in a booth even after setting a table for us - exceptional service. We’ve been here many times, and they never let us down.

Ethan and the rest of the staff at Char made my boyfriends birthday experience special. We enjoyed the Nola BBQ shrimp, prime rib, and duck breast. Ethan had excellent wine suggestions and the wine selection at Char is superior. We plan to move to the area in the next couple of years and Char will definitely be a go to spot for special occasions.
