   Chadon Beni doesn't disappoint! You're greeted and feel welcomed from jump. The food is authentic and outstanding! My third time dining at Chadon Beni, and looking forward to round 4.

    Ross & the team at Chadon Beni were very welcoming! The atmosphere & true Trini vibes made for a relaxing evening filled with amazing eats and drinks. The drinks are all handcrafted using fresh ingredients & a wide selection of alcohol. The food is vibrant and features items not found at other restaurants around the area. I will definitely be going back!

    No reservations should have been needed the restaurant was practically empty and for the life of me I can't understand why the macaroni pie was fried not a good idea ( too greasy) cheese tasted old or rancid as we authentic Trinidadians would say.No Trini represention out front 😢 no flag , no accent noting, not a good idea and please add some body to the callaloo too thin

    Very tasty, authentic cuisine. All shareable, small plates. Owner. Really attentive and very nice. The only drawback is there are no large plates and very few vegetable items, so it's a little bit on the high carbohydrate side. But if that's what you're looking for, you can't beat it. Can't say I've had Trinidadian food before but it was a lot of fun.

    Chadon Beni took me back to my childhood. I had one of the best callaloo soups that I've tasted outside of my elders cooking. The ambience was great too, with the parang music playing in the background. It was a nice experience.

    Great food, nice atmosphere, lovely service. Music was a bit loud, but lively. Place was empty when I arrived at 7:00 pm, so was a bit apprehensive, as I'd never been there, but it filled up soon. Service was nice and the food was delicious. I guess the rest of the patrons were just on CP time like I should have been...;-)

    It was a great decision to go here. We were a large group and we're enough to occupy the rooftop heated patio space. The servers were attentive and checked in time to time. I'd recommend an additional heater on the other end of the table or a larger heater. By then end we were jacketed up and crowded around the side with the heater. But it was a great night, the punch had a good punch and then small plates were great for sharing. Great fries, I wish they had more veggie friendly options. Regardless, we all had a lovely time and will surely recommend for causal group gatherings over 10.

    We had a great dinner. Food was delicious! Also had our own private area on the rooftop patio. Not loud at all, but the rooftop could use some sprucing up. Great service, very friendly staff and very accommodating. Will definitely go back in the future.

    Absolutely outstanding! Natasha and Ross did a fantastic job. The food was wonderful and the Rum punch pitcher was tasty and refreshing and we would of a second pitcher but we didn’t have enough time!

    I can’t say enough about Chadon Beni. Friends and I went there for dinner and drinks following the Toronto FC game because it’s in our hood, we love supporting local establishments and we read the reviews. This place is 5 Star in every way. We sat outside and pretty well ordered a coupe of everything tapas style to try as much as we could. We tried all the sliders and every one was excellent. Lobster tacos were great, the wings fantastic, the shark was awesome as was everything else we tried. Finishing off with the tiny donuts topped with ice cream topped it off perfectly. The service was also top notch. The staff was extremely busy it being a gorgeous Saturday night but very attentive and bringing us things like more their great sauces before we asked. Great service, great food and great vibes; places like Chadon Beni are why this neighbourhood is the best hood.

    Tapas gets expensive if you're hungry but these plates were worth the money. Great flavour. Good selection of drinks. And you can do a half order as well which was helpful if you're the only one who wants to try something.

    Trinidad and Tobago tapas definitely worth the visit. I am Trini, so the continuous hunt for spots that offer up as close to home in taste if spot-on isn’t quite available. Chandon Beni offers small bites with big Trini taste and flavour! For non-Trinis, this spot gives a great inclination on what a few of our key dishes really taste like. I’ll be back soon!!

    Unbelievable service – very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, in particular the curry crab dumplings. The sliders were wonderful and the spicy fries were a pleasant surprise. Seating is a bit spartan, but not uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to going back!

    Ross and his crew have done a great job with this hidden treasure. Amazing Caribbean flavors served tapas style that gives you an opportunity to share and taste many flavors. Great bar as well! We will visit every opportunity we get!

    The food was amazing! I loved the lobster tacos & the wings, were great with the right amount of kick to them. Our server Jasmine was amazing and very helpful with recommendations and overall service. Would definitely come back for the good Caribbean music and amazing food !
