    My only problem was set menu took two hours to complete and the chairs were too uncomfortable, if they provided good chairs itll be perfect. Food was great

    Lovely and professional service. We were given recommendations for the drinks and dishes and they were not wrong! I will plan to visit again and try other items on the menu. It is somewhat pricey, not a place I would go regularly, but at least a few times a year for the experience.

    Food menu changed a bit and order fresh oyster but waiter heard it's stream oyster and end up for free. However, that bar waiter had a bit attitude and food is good but comparing last few years. I think services and the quality need to be improved , plus it was my birthday and didn't have any special at all even I booked and commented to mention it was my birthday. Disappointed.

    Came very late to our booking and they were incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend the set menu. I love their house umeshu and the chawanmushi. Service is top-notch and they took a Polaroid photo of us for the birthday we were celebrating

    Visited Chaco Bar for the first time and sat at the bar. It was a hot night but it wasn't uncomfortable at the bar. Definitely cooler for patrons on the long tables, but it didn't look as fun. It was great to see all the dishes being prepared and to chat to the chefs. The food was perfect from start to finish and we matched our food very well with sake and beer. The wait staff don't speak great English, so it was difficult to talk to them about matching drinks with the food. Perhaps each menu item should come with a suggestion. My suggestion is to drink sake with the first few plates, then switch to beer for some yakitori skewers. Overall, we had a great time.

    Beautiful authentic Japanese Restaurant. The Oysters were to die for, as was the Sashimi and wagyu yakitori. Couldn't fault any of our dishes, beautifully presented and melt in your mouth deliciousness! The lovely Sake Somelier helped us choose a Sake to accompany our meal. The service was impeccable. Will definitely be back!

    The set menu was a great way to taste a wide selection of dishes. The yakitori was beautifully Smokey and perfectly cooked. One of the best chawanmushis I’ve ever had and a very in point sashimi plate. Would go back!

    We are so lucky to have authentic Japanese eateries like this in Sydney. Can't believe I haven't been here before. Innovative menu including plenty of yakitori sticks - it's great to watch the chefs on the grills. Octopus salad, Spanner crab chawanmushi, cuttlefish tempura - all delicious dishes. Sake menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced. Love this place. Can't wait to return.

    Tim was very accomodating. We were able to be seated a little earlier than our booking which I really appreciated. They accommodated dietary needs. Food was incredible. Music was on point. First time going here and I’d definitely come back soon with more friends and family.

    Great food and atmosphere. I think the entrance and front door greeting needs work. Was confused where to stand and how to get attention for our booking. But once in, the hospitality was fantastic.

    Good was incredibly flavourful and delicious. We loved sitting on the chefs table and watching them cook although it did get a little hot. Staff were very friendly and everything we ate was packed with amazing flavour. Will definitely be going back!
