Very average and disappointing food, especially the spaghetti lobster. The calamari wasn’t fresh and was rather cold, chewy than crispy and lacking in flavour.

Online booking doesn’t talk about cover charge but restaurant charges cover charge when you visit. Food quality is average not as good as used to be earlier.

You’re essentially paying for the view and the service at these restaurants, not for the food itself or the value you get for the price. The front staff wasn’t particularly friendly, and the two ladies outside came across as having a very “classy Mumbai” attitude, with quite a lot of ego. The staff inside, however, were kind enough and treated us nicely, so I have no complaints about them. A lot of things can feel unclear when someone is new to the city and doesn’t know your “classy” rules. The least that could be improved is the service and the way customers are treated. It’s important to leave the ego aside, especially when you’re in the hospitality business. Unfortunately, it feels like the staff aren’t properly trained in customer service. Overall, it’s just a hyped-up place with a great view, but in my opinion, there’s nothing much more to it.

We loved the ambience and the good was amazing. The mushroom truffle pizza was delicious. Loved the lime dessert as well, very innovative. We got a sea facing table, so the view was great. Thanks for a great experience guys!

I am absolutely shocked at the dismal drop in service standards & quality levels ! This was a special occasion & if you need to resort to marketing promos to fill tables/ earn revenue then at least be professional! First off the lady who answered my call on the 21st of July 26 Shifa, refused to take a booking over the phone , she said it could only be done online despite your promos saying to call! Then after making a booking I tried calling back to enquire about the cocktail menu & guess what. The line kept getting disconnected after just one ring! So when we did arrive on the 22nd we discovered there was literally only one drink available ! The restaurant was not busy but still the wait staff were markedly disinterested saying to each other " oh they are here for the promo".. I asked for sugar free sachets to try and make my drink more palatable & this took over 20 mins ! It was only after i asked to speak to the manager that they snapped to attention! I did speak to younus who only acknowledgeed that he would speak to Shifa and left it there. So clearly he's not been taught how to deal with dissatisfied customers! Your cocktail menu has never appealed to me but this time even the food was a disappointment. The pizza sauce was ultra diluted , tasteless. The risotto & rigatoni saved your reputation . Please do better. Don't be charging 1k for a cocktail you don't know how to blend & don't be charging service charge when your team clearly resents serving. Thank you. Kimberley

Always a guarantee! Chef Anand and team never disappoints. We are Italians and the Cecconi’s does the best pizza in town. Well surprised and impressed by the pappardelle with duck ragù!

Waitstaff must treat recommendations with more seriousness. When specifically asked if the Chardonnay (Giacondi, in this case) would be even a tad sweet, serving an older or long‑open bottle that had turned jammy and stripped of acidity was unacceptable — the pairing with the Red Snapper simply didn’t work. The fish itself was masterfully executed. And about the 10% discretionary service charge: if courts have deemed it optional, why persist in adding it only to have guests strike it off? Bake it into menu pricing instead and spare everyone the awkwardness of bill revisions.

Tried Cecconi's Mumbai expecting a proper premium Italian experience because the ambience and sea view honestly set the bar high. Sadly, the food and service didn’t really match the hype. The pizza was average at best, nothing memorable for a place charging premium prices. The pasta was even more disappointing — bland and underwhelming. Service was frustratingly slow and inattentive throughout the meal, which seems to be a pretty common complaint from other diners too. What made it worse was waking up the next day with stomach issues, which completely killed whatever good impression the ambience left behind. At this price point, you expect good food and good hospitality, not just a nice sunset and aesthetic lighting doing all the heavy lifting. Would probably come here only for the view and vibes, definitely not for the food.
