   The staff were great, can't fault them on their service. The food was a slight let down though. The fish we ordered was slightly overcooked and the other meals as well. The winner was the starter. For the amount you pay, the portions are small.

    The Catch at St Regis Abu Dhabi will get you hooked on the freshest and best menu and service in Town. Products and Produce are sourced from all over the world and paired with well knowledged service (Insist on Maddy and his team to provide all your culinary needs). Chef de Cuisine (or better Resistance) is Chef Remon Hanna. Its great to see his passion talking about cooking methods and produce actually translate into the dishes he prepared for us. Including changing out ingredients and explaining the creative ideas behind them. So what did we have: 2 types (6 of each) Oysters Local and French (Both well priced) and the cleanest freshest yet in the UAE. Then onto a sushi platter for 2. Gain the flavour explosions and combinations popped. ( Tempura shrimp to a new level - just drooling thinking back about it). Chef Ramon recommended the Patagonian Toothfish (from Australia). Nothing compares, with a sushi rice coconut milk side dish. I cant explain it - go try it. Desert was a take in Tiramisu topped with caviar styled licorice balls . Who would of thought. Not sure its on the menu but ask Chef Remon. All dishes presented well , like a show. Try the Cocktail Oldman of the Sea. Perfect Many Thanks for making our Special Occasion into a celebration.     It took 20 mins to bring our drinks and then all of the food items came at staggered intervals - it was not a smooth dining experience albeit the food was good overall.

    We had to wait quite a long time to get our first drink and when we ordered a bottle of wine they brought it out and it was warm. The food came out and most of it was cold

    The saxophone made the evening very special. The food was excellent as always. The short rib was so good my husband ordered more. I can highly recommend the black cod. Towards the end of the evening the service was a little slower. The view certainly added to the evening. We can’t wait to go back when the singer is there too !

    We received Excellent service by our waiter Champion. The food is excellent. We went there twice in a row. The wine was great. It’s a bit expensive place to eat, but how often are you going to visit Emirates to not enjoy excellent food.
