Always an amazing time at Casa Sensei! The place is beautiful and spotless and the food and service are phenomenal! Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just getting together with friends - this place will always accommodate!
Had a wonderful experience at Casa Sensei. Our waitress Kelly was outstanding and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the different flavor profiles. Would definitely recommend
We ate at Casa Sensei after a show at the Broward Center. Its located on the New River and has a parking lot in the building ($9) , you can park in the area for less. We had delicious meals. I enjoyed the lamb chops, my husband had the crispy duck and our friends enjoyed a delicious noodle dish. After dinner they brought out home spun cotton candy. The outdoor seating was lovely right on the river and the noise level was enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant.
Nice local spot for some good food and service, fun tasting foods to share.
This is a great spot with a lot of menu options. I especially liked the Tempura shrimp, the dumplings with shrimp and the Mongolian duck.
A little hard to find. Part of a larger L -shapes building. But after that issue everything went well . Would go again.
a bad experience from the ridiculous way our order was taken,( I was reprimanded for ordering my drink and meal at the same time) to being told that the food would be served tapas style( but only mentioned it halfway through the meal) to the extremely drunk people seated beside us when the whole patio was empty and finally the waiter who rudely said, when we got the bill and asked him to take off a dish that we never received,” you should’ve told me that before”. Really!?!? You told us food was being served tapas style, how were we supposed to know that it wasn’t still coming. Too many other restaurants to choose from won’t be going back.
We are very pleased with service, food and attention to detail.
We went there for my birthday and could not be more please for the great experience.
I enjoyed my experience, from the time we came in to the time we left. We truly appreciated the customer service.
Outside dining is definitely better at Casa Sensei, but make sure to have a table at the lower terrace.
Be aware that food is delivered very quickly and not necessarily at same time for all members of the party.
I recommend that you first order your appetizer and only order the main dish when you have finished with appetizer. If not, your whole dinner may be finished in twenty minutes as all food may come at the same time and very quickly.
The quality of the food is very good and service very friendly.
Food was very average and while the menu looked interesting it did not deliver on taste
Food was very good and well executed. Our server Adam was terrific! Very personable and approachable and had a lot of knowledge about the food and the preparations.
Non existent service. My reservation was for inside, but they were only seating outside. It was blazing hot. No shade whatsoever. People leaving very upset with service. Food was tasty. We won't go back.
Love the outside water view, nice and relaxing view outside. Maybe tables outside need to be a bit further away from each other as person's chair back is right on top of your chair back and can get tight. Food was very tasty, prices were good and reasonable (for Las Olas and the view). Korean bbq beef fried rice was super tasty! The sashimi salad was great, good amount of fish pieces and salad for $14, would recommend.
Loved it! Food was amazing, service was great and the atmosphere was brilliant!
The sushi is pricey but because it's a very large portion. I split a sushi roll, sesame chicken and crab ragoons and still had left overs! On the intercostal as well, so try for an outside table!
Great place, right next to the water.
However, the tables outside were so close to each other that I had to seat on the side so I can fit.
Food is great but a bit overpriced!
Went on a Date with the beloved and this was a real surprise. Local restaurant that we had never eaten at before and we loved it. BIG thanks
Amazing! Great new restaurant worth giving a try! Food was incredible, service was great, and the atmosphere is stellar! Will be back!
Service was excellent. Food was very good. In particular the whole fried fish special was delicious. Sushi was excellent. I was disappointed in the lobster guacamole. It was very expensive and you got just a few small skewers of lobster with about a tablespoon of guacamole and a bunch of chips. . I would’ve expected much more guacamole. The location is very nice - sat outside by the river. Overall we had a nice experience.
Food was delicious but service was way below par...
Terrible experience. Ordered through a tasting menu, got entrees & desserts before appetizers.
I had really high hopes for Casa Sensei. Our appetizers we're generally great. We had the charred octopus, sticky ribs, and ceviche. The picture octopus and tons were amazing but the ceviche was marginal. For dinner we had the duck and Korean steak. The steak was dry and extremely tough. The duck was overly salty but otherwise tasty. Desert was unimpressive. The shining moments we're the cocktails, service, and appetizers.
Reunion with good friends
Went before theater on a Saturday night. It states that it is a Pan-Asian Latin Fusion restaurant. Very nice setting on the water with plenty of outside seating.
Huge menu including soup/salads; raw items; sushi/sashimi; Latino bites; Sensei specialty rolls; small plates; Dim Dum; noodles/rice/ramen; and large plates.
We started with the Chinese Sticky Ribs, St. Louis style ribs with kimchi apples in a caramelized Chinese bbq sauce. very meaty and very good. Also we tried the Salt and Pepper Prawns, wok tossed prawns with salt and pepper over a blend of jalapeños , bell peppers, and shallots. Really liked them.
For mains, I had the Mongolian Duck, crispy Peking duck with a sweet soy glaze and vegetable fried rice. very nice portion that is sliced. Very good flavors but a little dry. My wife ordered the Sesame Chicken, crispy chicken in a blood orange caramel sauce with green beans, baby bok choy, sesame seeds, and jasmine rice. She really enjoyed it.
Can't wait to return and try other items on the menu.
Food was served cold. Lobster guacamole appetizer was delicious but it was all downhill from there!
I was a little nervous about going here as we had 2 picky toddlers with us. The server was very accommodating and recommended 2 kid friendly dishes, chicken fried rice and their general tso’s appetizer (minus the sauce). Both kids ate everything
First few dishes of Food were cold... food was just ok not great I was a little disappointed.
Cuisine was delicious. Each dish highlighted different flavors. Service needs attention. Slow and unattentive.
We ordered chorizo appetizer and it came out cold. Replacement was not much warmer. Entrees came out at different times.
I heard the owner of Casa Sensei on the Paul Castronovo radio show promoting his newly opened restaurant. Knowing I was going to be in the area, I immediately made a reservation. It was as delicious as he made it sound! There were five of us, each with different palates. We had many different menu items including Tokyo Tuna Tower, Fish Burnt Roll, Lobster Guacamole, Steak a Cavalo Fried Rice and Pad Thai. The service was good, atmosphere was nice, and the food was excellent. We will certainly be repeat customers when we are in the area.
Our server was amazing. I forgot her name but she was originally from Romania.
Food was very nice - fusion of Japanese and Mexican.
We were greeted warmly. They have saki a selection to impress and the hostess told us they offer a tasting. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The food was very flavorful and delicious. It is a combination of Asian and Latin. And even a twist on a few classic favorites. Lobster guacamole!!! Not all fusion So there is something for everyone, even picky eaters. Everything came out prompt and even the brownie dessert was perfect. We will definitely be back
Incredible meal, and even more incredible service. We will be back as soon as possible. If you’re in the area and looking for Asian fusion this is the place to be!
Delicious food, great service and cozy quaint place. Wait till you try the popcorn with Sirracha butter. Wow. Our waitress was fun and engaging. The hostess was over the top helpful and kind. Great overall service by all.
Was very pleased with The Whole dining experience. Food and drinks was awesome !!
Beautiful restaurant, great food and amazing specialty drinks
