Casa Brasil Bristol
Cachaça, blue Curacao, passion fruit liqueur & lemonade
Excellent service, good quality meat, very attentive staff.
Despite going at the most expensive time of the week, only half the meat advertised was offered, not all sides were available (no Lasagne or meatballs) & when mentioned to the manager when paying was just told they take too long to make 🤨 also the fresh full skewers of meat were being taken directly to an employee's family table & due to where we were seated we mainly had the fatty ends of the meat by the time it was offered. don't believe we got value for money & won't rush to go again.
Took my partner for his birthday, we both really enjoyed it. The Food was absolutely amazing, we both really enjoyed the Pineapple. The only comments I would have is that service was fairly slow at points, it took us a while to get more drinks. And sometimes there were long periods of time when we were waiting for them to bring around the meat or offer more sides. That being said we both did like the fact we could choose exactly how much we ate to ensure that no food was wasted. Also two toilets out of four were out of order, and the two that were working could do with a serious clean!
What a nice place to make me feel closer to home. Thank you
1st visit to Casa Brazil and it definitely won't be my last. Top quality food and drinks. Staff were very attentive, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
We were seated for 30 minutes before anyone came to us with drinks or a plate. Had to sit and watch everyone walk past with food, when all we needed was a plate at our tables to get going. Majority of staff seem disinterested. The wait alone is enough to put me off returning.
All the staff were Amazing! Lovely experience, transports is to Brasil!
Be back soon!!
We enjoyed our meal but 2 of our friends were really looking forward to the milkshakes with alcohol but you no longer do them.
Arrived hungry and left very happy! The pineapple is amazing!
Thought this would only be good for meet lovers (I'm not) but the tapas were really good, great variety.
Absolutely dreadful. Tapas choices some not available. Rice bland, chips burnt and cold, salad limp it looked like it had been out of the fridge for hours, I wouldn’t of given that to our rabbit. Service terrible. Meat serviced at the table was dry and no consideration for my daughter being vegetarian. Instead of walking around to each guest the waiter lent over the table. Dessert serviced on an ice cream cardboard tube. Tiramisu was dry and tasteless. Overal disappointed we will not be returning.
This was our first visit since March 2020 when all the lockdowns were put in place.
On arrival we noticed the buffet table is now not in use, all sides have to be ordered through waitress service, unfortunately this proved to be a problem when there was only 2 members of staff taking orders. The bowls for the sides were quite small so when there was 7 of us eating them they didn’t last long, They could not keep up with the demand so the whole meal we only got served twice.
Out of the 13 cuts of meat supposedly on offer we only had 4 brought round to us, our table that was sat in the corner of the restaurant, obviously getting overlooked and could never seem to catch anyone’s attention.
Very very disappointed with this visit.
Although the food was as good as ever no problems at all with the quality of the food.
Very beautiful food and quick service 10/10 for speed.
As always, great service. Slightly delayed initial service but most likely due to staff shortage but this is common during this pandemic.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and tasty food.
Great atmosphere, full of life and the decor is warm inviting. There's a framed Pele Brazil jersey that caught my eye. The staff were friendly but unfortunately the service was very slow, waited 20- 30 mins to order drinks & food. The staff bringing the meat around didn't do it as often as expected, sometimes your table would get missed ,so you'd have to wait for the next cycle. However, when the food did arrive it was tasty, the side dishes steal the show.
Always a great experience coming to eat in Casa Brazil. My Wife and I enjoy bringing friends for their first time and seeing their reactions.
As close to authentic as you can get outside of Brasil... Great staff, great management
The service was slow but the staff very friendly. We all came out of the restaurant hungry as the staff didn’t come round very often with the meat. We kept asking but they would serve other tables. The quality of meat was poor, very chewy and again we got very little selection. Drinks were good especially the cocktails and it was my sons birthday so the staff made a fuss. Overall very disappointed, not great value for money with poor quality and slow service, certainly would not go back again and wouldn’t recommend.
Having booked our visit early in October, for 3 people at 7.00 pm, we arrived at 6.55 but had to wait outside as a group of 6 men were taking up the space in the waiting area. Another couple joined us who had also booked around the same time as us. Nobody from the restaurant appeared until around 7.15 when we were verified as having a booking. 10 minutes later, by which time the other couple had found somewhere else, we were shown to a table between two very large, and loud, groups of men obviously having a Christmas night out. Nobody came to our table to say anything, but staff were busy taking orders from the large groups. At 7.40, we decided enough was enough. We could guess what the evening would be like should we have stayed: Ignored and overlooked amidst a growing volume of raucous noise! We left extremely disappointed - and none the wiser as to how it all worked, as nobody told us anything! Pizza Express, next door, was very welcoming and provided a first class level of service during an equally busy evening - and the noise level was appropriate for a Saturday evening.
The service was great with friendly staff.
The food was nice, I just didn't like that some of the tapas came out in foil trays instead of a bowl/plate. Made it feel cheap!
My grandson wanted to go here and we were both overwhelmed by the experience. Thank you so much
Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, ,,,,,,,,,
An excellent place for carnivores. As much meat as you can eat. Really nice meat, good quality and well cooked. The sides weren't as great but there are unlimited amounts and that's not what you go to Casa Brasil for. The staff were lovely. Really helpful. We had a great evening out.
Cocktails v. good but meat overcooked and sides did not arrive as ordered despite asking twice, however the staff were friendly.
Absolutely wonderful staff and great food, will definitely be coming back soon!
this is our third visit and as usual the staff and food were excellent.
The alcoholic drinks are a little pricey, that would be our own negative but we will visit again.
It's all so good! Hot and cold sides are all amazing and the Meats are just delicious!
Casa Brasil is a favourite of ours. After having been away for a while, it was lovely to return and be greeted by one or two familiar faces and some new members of staff who were very warm and welcoming, and quick to notice if you needed something. Full marks to all, including the chefs and their teams. See you again soon. M & R.
First time to visit so didn't know what to expect. Waitress went through whole process with us and couldn't have been any more accommodating. Food was lovely and plentiful. Would highly recommend
Recently came back after about 2 years but it’s no longer that great. The food is still fantastic but the service has ground to a halt. They need an additional 3 servers easily. The poor host looked extremely overworked, there really should be at least 2 hosts for the amount of traffic the place gets. Had to wait about 40 mins for drinks and starters. Absolutely NOT the staffs fault, they were trying to cope the best they could. Need more staff please but again the food is extremely good :)
Very good food, not as varied as I have experienced before. Beer selection limited. Service a little slow at times
Food excellent and plentiful staff were polite and very quick to serve you
enjoy every visit. variety of side to enjoy and meats are cooked perfectly.
Food was delicious, especially the beef, very good value for money. Plenty of food coming around and staff attentive and hospitable. Would definitely return.
Food very good and tasty, good choice of different meats
Did find the service was slower than our last visit, but overall friendly staff and lovely food.
My sister and I enjoyed our meal and would definitely come bavk again one day. Highly recommend this place
Perfect place to celebrate my husband birthday with friends. Lovely food, great service and good price.
A wide variety of items to choose from, delicious food, great service and a fun atmosphere.
Not overly impressed. It was all a bit fractured. We ordered our sides & bearing in mind there was three of us only two meatballs & two corn on the cob came out. The meat was coming round in dribs & drabs. We had the gammon & then fifteen minutes later the pineapple came around. Surely it makes sense to have the pineapple right behind the gammon? There was no soya or oat milk available so I was unable to have a drink. We won’t be returning.
