    The food was delicious. The naan was some of the best I have ever had. My scallops were presented artfully and the flavors were not that of something that had sat in a pot forever, but had a nuanced flavor profile. The waitstaff were very patient with our large group and explained dishes clearly. I will definitely be returning.

    The service was excellent! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu had plenty of tasty options. Our server also assisted us in selecting the perfect spice level for our pallets.

    We really enjoyed lunch at Carytown Indian Cuisine, bringing friends with us who had not been before. The food is always delicious, service is exceptional and the setting is very welcoming and comfortable. White table cloths, large booths...if you love Indian food this is the best in Richmond.

    We celebrated our 45th anniversary here (and we noted that on our reservation when asked if it was a special occasion. It was very uncrowded (early 5:30 ) and the servers and staff were very nice and friendly, although not very attentive to us. We asked for a booth but were told the booths were for 5 or more. The booths remained empty the entire time we were there. It took awhile to get our server for our order. When we needed water, we had to wait, even though there were several staff members including our server just standing around. Everyone was very pleasant, just not good at restauranting. The food was good, not excellent, and it was $$$$. Glad we tried it, there are so many others that are better.

    Had a 7:30 reservation but wasn't approached, to even ask if we wanted water, for almost 40 minutes. Other tables were covered. Ours must have gotten lost in the shuffle.

    First and foremost, food is delicious. We are return customers both for dining in and (more frequently) take out. Service is attentive, sometimes too attentive in a way that disrupts conversation. If we are chatting, let us chat! We don't need to be asked 10 times if we want dessert. And, please don't stack the plates at the table and almost drop a dirty knife on one of the diners.
