The food was a bit spicy to our taste, but I understand this is Indian cuisine, so no problem with that. The cocktails, however, were very poor taste for a venue like this. I have tried many cocktails in different places and this is surely not up to standarts for a Michelin choice. We were not able to drink any. For alcohol including brunch, the wine choice is somewhat limited: one white one, one red and prosecco, no champagne. Wines are not the best options available. Overall service was good and very attentive, but they forgot to bring one dish from brunch set menu. The waiting time between the dishes, when we were just sitting at an empty table was too long. The appetizers are set as one little piece per person, which is fine for a tasting menu, but after you enjoy them, you just sit at an empty table for 15 minutes. Entertainment was fun, but we expected it is more engaging. Within 4 hours of Saturday brunch, the dancing couple appeared only three times for one dance each. Overall, we expected better quality food/cocktails for Michelin choice and more engaging entertainment for Saturday brunch.

Service was great. Everyone was warm and attentive. We ordered the paneer tikka, which was very good and put forward in a new way. Papad basket was also good. The pani puri was inauthentic and the puri itself seemed stale. The shrimp from the fried section was lackluster. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet and creamy for my liking. The palate cleanser was a nice touch. Overall in comparison, to all the other Indian restaurants in Dubai, this left something to be desired. The modern take may seem exciting but expectations were not met.

While the food was inventive and bursting with flavor and the service attentive and dedicated, the live DJ music absolutely ruined the experience. It was so loud that I had to shout to converse with my husband who was sitting next to me less than 1 foot away. Many people were enjoying the music, but I came to a restaurant, not to a club, for a special dinner. For such beautiful and sophisticated decor and presentation, the choice of blaring house music struck me as extremely odd. We will not be back.

Overpriced for what it is, and not as good as we were expecting it to be. The waiter, instead of giving recommendation, was only trying to push us to order more and more. We were a couple and he tried to convince us to take half of the menu… we ordered many starters and mains, and at the end we tried to redeem an offer from the entertainer and he refused. Thanks to the manager who came and replied gently to our queries

Whilst the food we chose was lovely , the service excellent and the ambience perfect, I was very disappointed that we were not offered the Tasting Menu (only the Carnival Experience - even though I asked) or the Wine Pairing which are advertised on Carnival Website (with no restrictions stated). This was one of the main reasons for booking a table there.

Our experience at Carnival by Tresind was absolutely incredible, we loved everything about the meal and found the eye for detail to be in on point. Right from the amuse bouche( pumpkin bread and podi idli), to appetisers, sorbet( absolute best- lime pickle), maincourse, to the dessert every single dish was thought through and beautifully presented. Portion size of every dish was perfect, variety and the taste spot on. The service staff was also very well trained, pleasant and warm. Just the right kind of involvement on table not too much nor too less. If there was anything that I felt could have been better was If they used coasters for every drink, the glass top of the table gets covered in water from condensation and gives the table a very messy feel after a point in time. Also a small introduction or story in the beginning of the meal explaining the concept of the restaurant would be a nice touch. Would we come back, most certainly! Keep doing the great job guys! We look forward to visiting more often.

We had an incredible experience. Booked the dubai restaurant week menu and the food was amazing! The service we received was second to none, staff could not have been more helpful/friendly. The service started out very fast but after asking the waitstaff to slow down, they were very accommodating. The food was excellent and the drinks were professionally prepared. We had the tasting menu and every course was delicious. The dessert was out of this world and large enough for a family. Overall great experience and well worth the cost.
