This place is iconic. A Dublin landmark. There’s nowhere like it. It should stay open!

A great selection of 80s and 90s music, made me feel nostalgic. Very friendly waitress and great tasting food. I do miss the lunchtime menu, though.

I used to love coming here as a child, so this was a nostalgia exercise. The food and drinks were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll be back.

Arrived at 5.45 to be told no tables available as they have lots of bookings coming in. There was about three tables occupied at this time. We left and I went online and was able to book for 6pm this option wasn’t given to us at the time. We went back up at 6 and he gave us our table. We were there for an hour and a half and the place didn’t fill up at all. If I was management I would be very concerned that the staff clearly don’t want to work and are turning away people for no reason. The food was very basic and bland. The loaded potatoe skins weren’t swerved with any sour cream. The goujons were dry. The staff were miserable and rolled eyes at any question. We couldn’t wait to leave and will never be back.

Place was nearly empty just a big group. Needs cleaning and refurbishment, made me a bit scared for what the kitchens looked like when I saw the grubby brasses and chairs. Food was very poor in quality and value for money. Chips were too many and like cardboard. No steak available. There wasn’t an adequate description of the food on the menu… who knows what was on any of the burgers beyond the cheese burger. Service was very, very slow. We won’t be back

Very disappointed, going to Captains America's since the 1970s. Easily my worst experience. Busy few staff and those that were there were not interested busier talking amongst themselves. I don't drink yet there were no soft drink's and I was offered beer or wine very insulting. Will hope for better next time but I will not be rushing back

Don’t order the mozzarella sticks, Or the fajitas. Stick with simple things like burgers and you’ll be OK.
